Yoga 2 Pro - Veriface doesnt work with Domain Account

I have a Yoga 2 Pro and I can get Veirface to work fine with a local account but it will not work with a Domain Account. I can get it to where it prompts me for the Domain Account Password (as it should the 1st time) but when you enetr the proper password, it tells you ints invalid etc. I have tried changing the Domain Password but it acts like it just cant locate the account etc. Does anyone know if this is a known issue or if there is a resolution to this?
I am using Veriface 5.0.13.5261 on a Windows 8.1 Pro Operating System

Hi there, i had the same problem.
I have two accounts
1. valentia\mubi (which is domain account)
2. Mubi (which is local laptop account)
When i use register my account with veriface, it work fine with Mubi
When i use to register my account with valentia\mubi it say wrong password..
I even deleted local i.e. Mubi account but still no luck!
This is great feature, but pretty much useless if not working with domain. I have to use domain account,

First - Lenovo's own tech support team seems completely unprepared for this product. There are no install packages online for anything but core drivers and the support teams really don't know much about the custom Lenovo software like VeriFace. Not bashing, just a disappointing reality. I'm hearing Lenovo does this all the time and that in a few months, stuff will appear. Great.
REAL issue: VeriFace won't work for Domain accounts. Pure and simple. I'm a geek, so I know the right account name shows up at the lock screen. When I type in the password, it says Incorrect. If I use a local account, bingo, works perfectly. I Googled some notes back in 2008/2009 where some people found a work-around by creating a local account with the same login name (obviously without the "domain\" part) to trick VeriFace. I tried it and it didn't work.
Can anyone else confirm this?
p.s. I tried uninstalling / reinstalling and you DON'T want to do that. See my first point. You can't re-install b/c the software ONLY exists in the hidden reset partition in OneKey Recovery. You have to completely reset your PC in order to get it back.

First, make sure that all your devices are using the same Apple ID in iMessages including your Mac. Second, your messages that you've already started on your devices will not show up on your Mac - only ones that you start from now on will show up. Third, if you're still not syncing accross all devices, make sure you read the directions on the first page of this thread. It should work after performing those steps. Good luck!

Logitech Pro 4000 not working with new Imac 24"

Just migrated from a G4 to the new Imac 24"
Cannot get the Logitech Pro 4000 to work with new mac.
Contacted Logitech and they said
"please note that the QuickCam Pro 4000 currently only supports up to Mac OS X 10.2.6"
However,the cam DID work ,even under 10.4.8 with the old G4...

Your nwe iMac is Intel based, which is why the old driver failed/ You could try the driver from IOXperts. They do not mention Intel support, but they do list your camera, and have a free trial.

My experience with upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion is that the OfficeJet Pro 8500 Wireless will print just fine, although it seems to take a little longer to find the printer on the network. My scan function however locks up and will not work. This really is an annoyance, though, since I have VueScan, which works fine with Lion.
Hopefully, Apple and HP will not orphan the OS native scanning feature for HP multifunction printers.

If your computer does not have Thunderbolt you cannot use a Thunderbolt display. There are no adapters that will help.

I book doesnt work with power cord only

Hello. I was just using my ibook g4 and shut it down. When i tried to turn it back on it worked for about 5 minutes then it shut off. I tried taking out the battery and holding down the power button for 5 seconds among other things. I gave up and borrowed a friends battery, he has the same model as me and that battery doesnt work either. I tried just using the power cord only and that doesnt work either. Do i need to take it in to a professional? I've tried just about everything.

Is that right? Will it run only on the battery?
If so this is from the manual:
"The computer runs with battery, but not with the power adapter plugged into
wall outlet

adapter light is green, turn over the computer and press the battery button. The

Just to correct GerdW - the vis of a polymorphic vi do not have to have the same output.
Have a look at the vis I attached. I just pass a dbl to a polymorphic vi and get a dbl in one vi and a string in the other.
The real problem is that the vi has to be set to the necessary type. If there are different inputs you just can wire them to the polymorphic vi, but this does not work with the outputs, so you have to set the type.

Does Logic Pro 9.0 work with Mac OS X Lion?

I don't want to update to Mac OS X Lion from Snow Leopard until I know 100% that Logic Pro 9.0.0 is compatible with it.
On a side note, would Final Cut Pro 7.0 work with Lion as well (I will not be upgrading to Final Cut Pro X)?

Okay peoples, I have great news!
I was told that maybe the update for Logic Pro 9.0.0 to 9.1.4 wasn't working for me because I must have renamed my software folder... and I remembered doing so back in 2010.
You see, my issue was:
I bought Logic Studio 8 (The big box with piano keys on the side) and then as soon as I did, Logic Pro 9 (the update version) came out. I was inclined to get the latest software, so I upgraded immediately. I remember wondering why my logic pro 8 stayed behind after the update so I foolishly renamed the folders "Logic Pro 8" and "Logic Pro 9" haha. Not knowing this would cause me grief later when I tried to update.
So, my Logic Pro 9 is working again fine. My only concern now is for the hardware (the Apogee Duet) I am using, as I have to wait for a Lion update in August, thankfully it is only a month away as apposed to 6

hi, i have a seagate external hard drive 1.5 TB, i generally use it for my windows laptop. now i bought a mac and it doesnt work with my mac. Am i doing some thing wrong..?

Are you planning on using the drive with Windows? If no, then use Disk Utility in Applications/Utilities to reformat the drive. Formatting erases contents on a drive. Copy the data to another source before formatting.
Format the external drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) - Partition Map Scheme: GUID
Select Drive (top name) then click on Erase tab.
Under Format select Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
This should format as GUID when erasing but sometimes you need to click on an Advanced tab and select GUID.
If you do plan on using the drive with Windows machine, format on Windows machine as exFAT.
