Yoga Tablet 10" - update to Android 4.4 and further problems with Google Music

Hi everyone.
I've just upadated my Yoga Tablet 10" to Android 4.4. Whole process went smoothly but afterwards I'm experiencing some problems with Google Music. Playback is "skippy" or "choppy", even if whole song is downloaded. Every 15-25 seconds there small pause, which is quite annoying.
Local music files (uploaded through usb) seem to work just fine.
I've even tried resetting whole device to factory settings but without any success.
I also have an impression that youtube playback is not so smooth as it used to be in Android 4.2...
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any hints or sollutions?

    Any Ideas of how to solve this one?

    After reading all these posts, one by one did not resolve my problem until I got the very end.  Regardless of what step would resolve your problem, these are the steps I would recomment to everyone for a what seems to be a safe and fool-proof upgrade to iTunes 10.5.
    1. Stand alone upgrade to the latest Quicktime version
    2. Go to control panel and "change" then select repair to the following applications in the order specified by the post on Oct 27. (Notice I skipped Quicktime because it had been upgrade manually,and Bonjour did not have a "repair" option)
    iTunes; Apple Software Update: Mobile Device Support; Apple Applications Support
    Some of these applications may not appear if they do not apply to your configuration (no iPhone, or no iPad, or other apple devices).
    Once all updated, I did not need to restart nor launch any applications, I simply went straight into the 10.5 upgrade, and where it normally got stuck, this time the installation continued for a while longer until it completed successfully.

    As for question #2, you call tell how iTunes is sorting songs by the up or down arrow next to a header name.
    Even the original order that the songs were entered or date added or last played can be sorted.
    Much easier with a mouse or touch pad.

    Check under App Store/Purchases for your purchase. Install it from there again. ... Hopefully you did buy this from Apple's App Store, right!

    The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
    Now-  "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

    Are you losing the connection to iTunes on the iPad or the computer? You are saying that iTunes is updated. Of course iTunes is updated when you update the iOS software. That's a no brainer.
    If you mean that iTunes is updated on the computer, that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with downloading and updating apps on the iPad itself so changing the date on the iPad, signing in and out of the stores on the iPad .... Doing any of that on the iPad would have nothing to do with iTunes on your computer.
    If .... you have not been able to connect to the iTunes or app stores at all on the iPad - try this ...
    Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services (swipe to the bottom of the page to find this)>Location Based iAds>Off.
    If the downloads are stalled or "waiting" - try these suggestions.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
    If you can't connect at all - you can also try rebooting your router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.

    As Retired Engineer indicated, you will need to install Snow Leopard first.  After you install Snow Leopard, you need to go into Software Update and perform the updates.  10.6.6 will install the App Store.  You should continue to update to 10.6.8 before purchasing and installing Lion from the App Store.
    Be sure your machine meets the minimum requirements.  Basically, any Mac with a Core 2 Duo processor or later and at least 2GB of RAM (but 4 is highly recommended).  If you have a first generation MacBook Pro with a Core Duo, you will not be able to upgrade to Lion.

  • Problem with the music gallery after 2.3 update

    Hello
    Just recently updated my XperiaX10i (French version, not operator sim locked). No problem with the update itself and the phone seems to work properly.
    But, the music gallery did first not detect the music files already in the 32Go sd card (no problem for photos, videos or other files) and didn't therefore load them into the library. I had to download them all by new through Media Go and now the library shows them, but the record sleeves do no more appear in the album list like in the 2.1 version which was very practical for selection, nevertheless the sleeves appear in background while reading a track: this looks more like some bug than anything else.
    I'm also very missing the former fast launching bar application for Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, Sync and Screen Luminosity, it seems that for launching all these features one must go through the parameters file now.
    As a conclusion, I can hardly see what exactly improved on this phone since version 2.1. except maybe just a little bit the speed and the quality of the screen posting.
    Update from 1.6 to 2.1 was total revolution in comparison.

    I did already this through Media Go and the problem seems not related to some missing art covers. MP3Tag shows them, Media Go shows them, I guess Media Player would show them the same way as they were already existing before the update. I installed also Poweramp in the meanwhile on the X10 and the covers appear in the folder section, but still not in the library section which seems related to the Android library according to some start popup in Poweramp. There must be something wrong with inner codes that I’m unable to dig.
    Anyway, seeing them in the PowerAMP folder is OK now.
