Yoga ultrabook apps wont close in landscape with finger

Hello all,
I am posting due to not being able to find a solution to my newest of yet ANOTHER issue with this PC.
I really don't want to have to call and wait on the phone for another condacending support person.
The latest issue is not I cannot swipe close an app from the top down in landscape with my finger, I can however use the mouse or pen.
Also it will swipe close when held in portrait mode with the finger.
I am not real sure what to do with this one and I have tried updating any and all settings possible.

swipe speed is of no matter, it just pulls the page shifted. It does not pull to the middle and shrink. This is a new issue that has begun. As I mentioned it will close finger when held like a book.

When you install your first Passbook application and tell the application "Add to Passbook" the most recent card will stay in front. When you add more cards, you will have cards just behind that most recent. Slide your card down and the next few cards will be tabbed.

tried right clicking and selecting quit, tried comand Q, etc.
it has "quitting" written across it for days now and wont let me re-start my mac as its still open.
starting to regret buying a mac! simple things are to dificult, at least on windows i could always do CNTRL/ALT/DELETE

When you mention using a utorrent that implies you are downloading software that doesn't belong to you. If that is the case we can't help you here as it's against the Terms of Use we all agreed to. Specifically the T of U say:

Apps wont close since I installed the latest upgrade

Since I installed the latest update for my phone, I cannot close the apps. As usual, I tap the icon, but it doesn't "wiggle", so I cannot close it. Has anyone else come across this problem.

There's a new way to quit apps that requires less time. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.

Apps wont start aftes sync with itunes

I have sync my iphone with 2 different itunes computers, and now none of my apps on the phone wont start, they crash after 2 sec.
Why ? and what do i do now ?
My iPhone have the latest software updates, and its a 3G model.

Thank you for so articulately describing your issue - the *exact* same thing has been ruining my experience for over a YEAR now. I have tried everything you've described and more - it's madness.
Download (and pay for) an app - only to have it disappear on syncs with iTunes.
I literally have to go into iTunes and manually one by one check mark the ones I want to keep on my various devices - and repeat the process for every device. It is as if the Only way to make sure an app syncs properly is to download all my apps on my desktop - through iTunes - sitting at a desk....
PLEASE STOP THE INSANITY.

Apps wont close

All of a sudden when I open any apps, phone, messages or calender it won't shut down' I have to turn the whole. Phone off every time.

Double tap Home button and delete everything in the multitask-bar.
(Note: it will not delete the apps)

Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

Hi I have just got back from the apple store and the guy at the Genius bar looked at it and said it was a manufacturing fault, and because it has been like it since new, and seemed to be getting worse he replaced the computer and I have a new warranty from today.
We got the feeling as soon as he looked at it that he has seen this before, I did say to him I was concerned it would be a replacement screen and I was not really happy about that as it was so new, and he said that was the normal procedure, but as the fault was already there at new and it was getting worse they would replace. I could not have asked for a better service.
Not unpacked this one yet but am hoping all is good, its a great little machine.

Reset your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
If you continue to have issues, try downloading the apps to iTunes on your computer, then sync your iPhone using iTunes.

Hello I have a problem with a Wifi Survey app, this app is from Access Agility, however this app was working fine, but without advise stop of working, I tried to open again, but app be close after few seconds. Every time that I tried to open it, in diagnostic and use create some files, in special one named LatestCrash-WifiSurvey.plist, this one generate an incident identifier E73B0164-CDFA-4E9E-839E-A0C021BD17A2, but this incident identifier change every time that I tried to open, the last incident identifier is: DE600EB3-AB57-4C33-8DE8-71F6788A7441.
After of it, I checked that the app had a new version available for downloading, I took a backup of my ipad and then upgrade this app, but is the same problem, all I want is to save the projects I had in this app, I´m afraid that if I delete this app and re-install it, probably I loss my projects.
Thanks for your help indicating how I can save my projects and see them for example in an iphone for assurance that data is not lost.
Something that called my attention is part of the log that shows a big CPU processing, but the strange thing is I killed all applications.

The apps in the multitaskbar should appear like pages on the whole display. To close them, just swipe from the bottom to the top. you can select single apps for closing, when you swipe them like you would swipe your homescreens.

I tied to sync my ipod to the itunes but, the apps wont sync it just says the apps will be replaced with the ones on the itunes library,but there isnt any apps on there, i deleted all the apps after i use to use the library for my old iphone helpp\!!!!!!!

You can only sync with one ITunes library. It you switch iTunes library iTunes will erase the iPod and replace it contents with what is in the library of the new computer.

When you updated your iPhone 4S and iPad3 to iOS6, what exactly do you mean when you can't access the iTunes store? Have you checked your connection to the network?

You will need to delete the iCloud account with your old ID, but before you can do that, you will have to go back into Manage Your Apple ID, and change your Apple ID back to the old address. Don't worry about verifying it, you just need to change it.
Then, go into Settings>iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone (it will ask you for a password - put in your current one to turn it off). Then, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and Delete the iCloud account using your current password.
Also go into Settings>iTunes & App Store, clidk on your old ID and sign out of iTunes.
Then go back to Manage Your Apple ID and put your new Apple ID back in.
Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with your new Apple/iCloud/iTunes ID.
Go back into Settings>iTunes & App Store and sign on with your new Apple/iCloud/iTunes ID.
