Yosemite Creative Cloud crash
Every time I launch the Creative Cloud app, it crashes. The menu item appears briefly, and then the problem report window comes up with the crash info. This has been happening ever since I upgraded to Yosemite. I've tried all of the options I could find online:
I've uninstalled Creative Cloud and tried reinstalling. No change
I've tried running the Adobe Application Installer. No change
I've tried running the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. No change
Any ideas how to fix this?
The call stack for the change is always the same and seems to be coming from the Chromium Embedded Framework library. The invalid address being accessed changes every time, but it's always from a release message:

FINALLY! Thanks to all... it was that #$%$ inputmanagers !! SAVE THIS FIX!!!
All, after many hours trying EVERY proposed fix on many threads, I FINALLY found the solution. It's pretty simple. This fix is thanks to nickburlett on this thread (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1636876). Simply "Clearing the contents of "/Library/InputManagers" solves the problem of Creative Cloud Desktop not opening after installing OS X Yosemite.

I'm a creative cloud customer and for some reason the installation keeps crashing when I try to download apps
Hi,
Please refer to the thread below where this issue has been discussed:
Creative Cloud Crashing!
Regards,
Sheena -
Adobe Creative Cloud installer (/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud/ACC/Creative Cloud.app) crashes immediately on launch, so I can't install CC on a new iMac 5K running Yosemite. Launching the app to fetch the rest of the CC programs crashes, saying "Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly."
I have an old CS3 Photoshop install, a newish Lightroom install, and now I need to install Premiere from my work Adobe ID. I think this may be the crux of the problem. If the CC Cleaner app worked as advertised, I could wipe the old Photoshop install and just use the new CC Photoshop and everything would be cool, but the CC Cleaner doesn't work. It looks like it works, but the problem persists. In fact, Adobe support told me via twitter that Adobe's installer basically doesn't work on migrated Macs (new Macs where old data has been set up from backups). They called it an OS conflict, but I pointed out that everything else works, so it's pretty much Adobe's conflict.
It seems like a permissions issue, and Adobe thinks it's a permissions issue blocking the ACC applet, yet I've repaired HD permissions and did Disk Repair, run Adobe's CC Cleaner multiple times, attempted to install CC in another admin account on the machine, attempted to install CC from Root, and repeated all this after reinstalling OS X via rebooting with Cmd+R, always end with the same result: Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly.
They also suggested I install on a clean disk, one that hasn't been migrated. To do that, I supposed I have to bring it back to Apple, since I have neither a Yosemite install disc, nor a drive to put one in.
I found an article called "CC applications close immediately after launch" but this tip doesn't work because Creative Cloud applet is the app I can't launch.
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/cc-applications-crash-immediately-launch.html
They sound like they're trying to help, but the responses sound like utter BS, and, like the support website, i'm going around in circles. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's had this problem, right? RIGHT?? I'm sure the answer is buried here someplace...
Thanks in advance! There doesn't seem to be an uninstaller for CS3, and I've tried the CC Cleaner tool several times. It doesn't work and it is not correctly documented anywhere. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" as one of the Adobe pages states. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" so I can't find any success or error states of the tool.
There is a log file at "/Users/[me]/Library/Logs/ACC.log." Would there be anything in there that could shine light on install issues vs. uninstall issues?
Regardless, running Cleaner and then attempting to install ACC repeatedly leads to the error "Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly" upon launching it or rebooting (which launches it automatically). I've been trying various things for weeks to no avail yet. -

Ugh. I really messed up. I was downloading the Adobe Creative Cloud from my school's website. During the install process I kept trying to open Adobe Creative Cloud it kept crashes and refused to open. I deleted for some stupid reason and now I can't figure out how to redownload it. I can't get another redemption code to install and I don't know how to redownload. I NEED ADOBE FOR MY SCHOOL WORK. I just had to reinstall my OS X and now everything is screwed u

Creative Cloud Crashes When I Plug In a USB Drive
My problem is that Adobe Creative Cloud application crashes every time I plug in a USB drive. My computer is Windows 7 64-bit. A brief history:
1. I signed up for Creative Cloud and started to download and install the Creative Cloud desktop application (an upgrade to the Application Manager). The installation failed. I tried it again and the installation failed again.
2. Contacted Adobe Tech Support via live chat where the tech took over my computer and did so many things I couldn’t follow what he was doing. He finally got the Creative Cloud desktop application to install successfully. At least we thought so at the time.
3. I was then able to download Photoshop CC and Bridge CC and begin using the applications.
4. A day or two later I discovered the Creative Cloud application (not Photoshop or Bridge) crashes every time I plug in a USB drive.
5. Since then I’ve had two more chat sessions with Adobe tech support where they had me rename some folders to OOBEold and uninstall and reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop application. The last time they had me download and try to run a Creative Cloud Cleaner, but it couldn’t find the Creative Cloud application so we couldn’t run the cleaner. These reinstallations were unproductive as Creative Cloud still crashes when I plug in a USB drive. It doesn’t matter if I use the USB ports on the front or the back of the computer.
Has anyone else experienced this particular issue with Creative Cloud and, if so, were you able to solve the problem?
Is there a graceful way to close the Creative Cloud application instead of using the Task Manager to end the process before I plug in a USB drive? There is a drop-down menu by a gear icon in the upper right of the application window that has Preferences and Quit Creative Cloud as two of the options. What does the option “Quit Creative Cloud” actually mean? Are you just closing the application or are you doing something more serious? Under preferences there is an option that is selected by default to Launch at login. What does “Launch at login” mean? Does it mean when the computer starts up or when you actually go to Adobe and login to your account or something else?
Thank you very much for any suggestions.Dave,
Thanks for your reply. After four very lengthy tech support chat sessions, the last tech support person (30 July, 2013) suggested that it was probably some sort of conflict with the drivers for the USB ports on my Dell computer. The case number you requested is still open and is: 0184509373.
I spent a lot of time during the last tech chat trying to determine a graceful way to quit the application before using any USB devices. Just clicking on the X to close the window does not close the application as it still shows up as an active process in Windows Task Manager. Our conversation kept getting confused between the Creative Cloud application and the more global Creative Cloud and which you were quitting or logging out of. Adobe should have kept the name “Application Manager” for the application.
After experimenting, I’ve devised the following work around. It’s a nuisance, but it seems to work a little better than just crashing the application. I open the Creative Cloud desktop application and choose “Quit Creative Cloud.” I can then use a USB device without a crash. After disconnecting the USB device, I restart the Creative Cloud application by double clicking on the icon on my desktop. Finally, I can use Photoshop CC and Bridge. If I don’t restart the Creative Cloud application first, Photoshop asks me to register the software again. This puzzles me as I didn’t think the Creative Cloud application had to be running in order to use Photoshop.
Thanks for your attention and assistance.

Adobe Creative Cloud Crashes on startup under OS X 10.8.5
After working with Adobe Support on the problem of the Adobe Creative Cloud Installer crashing:
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1301546
The Adobe Support person had be create a root account to install Adobe Creative Cloud. While this did allow me to install the Adobe Creative Cloud.app, it does not allow be to run it as a normal user or as an administrator user.
When I attempt to run the Adobe Creative Cloud.app, it crashes immediately on startup under OS X 10.8.5 unless I am running logged into the root account. This happens when I try to run Adobe Creative Cloud.app as a standard user or as a user with admin privileges.
In other words, the only way I am able to run the Adobe Creative Cloud application is if I take the dangerious option of enablign the root account, logging into it and then directly running the application.
See the next message for a crash dump.
Please advise me on how I can run Adobe Creative Cloud.app without having to both enable and login to the root account. Here is the crash report when I attempt to run Adobe Creative Cloud.app without dangerious option of enablign the root account, logging into it and then directly running the application:

Illustrator CS6 creative cloud crashes when saving
I downloaded Illustrator as part of my creative cloud subscription.
Today when I opened a file I worked on for hours last night, an error message with a lot of unreadable characters showed up. I relaunched it and redid the work. Then I went to save, and it crashed with the same error message.
Then it asked me to sign in, saying I was using a trial version, even though I was signed in and had been using it. So I sign in again, make the changes again, save, and it crashes again. When I open the file, the layers have been altered so that everything is now on one layer.
This is crazy and is costing me a lot of valuable work.
Please help.Hey Everyone.
Mylenium and Designer - Im using Mac OSX Lion, CS6 downloaded from Creative Cloud. I can send a snapshot of the error message when I get back into the office. In terms of workflow, I had worked all night on a project, saved it and had no issue. The next day when I went to open the file it gave an error message which I'll send and then prompted me to login and now said I was using a trial version. I logged in again, recreated the work I had done, and when I went to save it, the same error message came up, and it again said I was in a trial version and wasnt logged in. I logged in again, it worked, and when I opened the file the layers had all been rearraged so that essentially all my assets were on a single layer. Thats when I started reaching out to support.
Wade - not sure your question is necessarily the obvious question, nor where your assumptions about what I did and didnt do are coming from, but since you asked, I contacted support 3 times before coming on here, and they were a dead end. First I called phone support, had them call me back, and the overseas call center was a series of unrelated questions followed by a disconnection. Chat support started to help me, but after asking two questions, also seemingly unrelated, told me I would have to call phone support for this issue. I called them a second time, explained the issue in detail, was told they needed 3-4 minutes to research the issue. I waited 40 minutes on hold before hanging up.
Thanks for the help. -
LR 5.5 from Creative Cloud crashing on startup
I just updated my LR from Creative Cloud on my Mac OS X 10.9.3. It crashes immediately. Any idea what I can? I restored LR 5.4 from a backup, and it started up fine.
Please see my reply on the following thread that provides a possible workaround:

Error "User ID unknown" - Muse Creative Cloud Crashes
Muse on Creative Cloud Membership Crashes - Error "User ID unknown" - Is this because I have moved Muse File out of the Documents Directory?
Zac, thanks!
I actually rebuilt the whole website on Sunday, and followed your
directions— it was a pain but it worked. What would make that corruption
in the first place?
I optimized assets, but employed the 1 pixel transparent rule to save a few
images as png before doing so, and they look a lot better. The site ran
better too.
My understanding is that every time I optimize, the images are burned into
the size that they exist as placed on the site. So if I want them to be
larger after optimization, I'd have to replace from the larger native file.
Is this correct?
Can I import CLUTS and swatches into Muse?
What about sound files? I need to create a site for a musician, and need
sound files attached to images/assets, and downloadable tracks. Can I
easily accomplish this?
Thanks, Marian -

Adobe Creative Cloud Crashing on Windows 8
I have two programs that continue to crash/not respond. Premier Pro and Audition. Several questions have been asked here:Re: Adobe audition CC keeps crashing with no answers.
I have uninstalled both programs and reinstalled-updated with no luck. Everything else works great. PS/IL/Muse etc... except for these two. I am using Win 8.1 / 64bit / i7 / invidia GT750. I have checked processes on the computer and have non acting as "vampires".
Any ideas? Thank you.More information needed for someone to help... please click below and provide the requested information

•What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)
•What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
•Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
•For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information

InDesign Creative Cloud Crashes Constantly
I just updated to InDesign CC and I cant get the program to stay open. As soon as I create a new document the program crashes. I have uninstalled the programs and ran the CS cleaner like everyone says to do, restarted and reinstalled the application manager and let it update, reinstall InDesign and it still crashes. I am running it on W7 x64 and have had no prior problems when it was CS6. I guess others arent having the same problem as me as I cant find any other threads about the problem I am having. Any solutions/ideas?
Unfortunately - the font-trick didn't work for me... But I have some news in my "investigation".
I already did every single tip for windows troubleshooting. And InDesign still crashes.
Tip from the logfile I pasted couple of lines above:
LoadedModule[403]=C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC (64 bit)\PLUGIN.dll
After that:
ConsentKey=APPCRASH
AppName=Adobe InDesign CC
But... I have no third party plugins. So it looks like there is a problem with plugins built into InDesign CC.
After that I tried to manipulate with plugins folder.
After renaming the plugins folder and trying to run InDesign CC - I have an error msg that there is no svml_dispmd.dll. Trying to search for that file in other CC's app folders and... every app (but InDesign - of course) has its own svml_dispmd.dll. Maybe that's the point?
After renaming plug-ins folder - there is no crash after splash screen. After the svml_dispmd.dll msg dissapears the app works "almost" fine (no preferences, and I guess - no plugins ).
BUT! There is one, very strange thing. When I renamed all the subfolders inside Plug-Ins folder, and restored the right name to the plugins folder - instead of missing-in-action-svml_dispmd.dll message there is --- surprise --- well-known CRAAAASH. -
Acrobat Pro XI (Creative Cloud) Crashing...
With an error that reads "oobe\pdapp\p6\p6native.dll is not designed to run on windows..."
Has anybody else experienced this or know how to fix it? The program starts and this pops up after a few seconds.
OS: Windows 8.1, 64-bit
Thanks,
JohnRun the cleaner tool then re-install Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
It works on 64-bit windows 8.1 for me so it is not a a basic incompatibility, but a setup issue.
