Yosemite for iMac 21.5 - When exactly?

Hello.
First of all, I know I should never pay attention to anything on YouTube. However, I was there, and I did see that "Yosemite is finally here." I doubt this is so, because I do not see anything saying so on the Apple website. Does anyone have an idea when it will really be available? I can hardly wait to upgrade my iMac 21.5, which currently has Mavericks and doing very well. Also, when will iOS 8 and the iPhone 6 (also touted on YouTube) be here? My iPad 2 (WiFi only) and iPod Touch 5 will be upgraded. Since I am not believing anything that is being said on YouTube about the iPhone 6 (or even if there is one), I will have to wait for a Consumer Reports review on that one. The main thing I am looking for is a smart phone with at least 16 megapixels, since it will take the place of a dedicated camera and a bag full of equipment when I travel.

Install more RAM in the computer; the Mac needs to have at least 2GB of RAM and should have 4GB or more first.

I bought a new imac transfered my data via timemachine and now when i want to open aperture it asks for my serial and when i put it in it says that is your upgrade serial please put in your original serial which i have no idea what that would be box gone

i used time machine to reinstall all products on a new imac machine. everything seems to be installed but when i open aperture it asks for my serial # and when i put it in it says that is your upgrade serial.. we want the original serial #. that box is long gone, how do i find that serial #

If you cannot find your original serial number, you will have to contact Apple with a proof of purchase, see these links:

I have been unable to download adobe acrobat pro, which I purchased on a month to month basis almost exactly 1 year ago, since I purchased it. I just received a renewal email and it had a link to download the program and for the first time when I clicked on the link it actually sent me to a page that had the icon to download now. I clicked on that, but when I went to open the file and start downloading after about 3 minutes into downloading it says an error had occurred. Can anyone help me?

I am a little worried. If you are an existing subscriber why would Adobe need you to download... I wonder if the message is a fake.
I'm not clear, if you've had it for a year, whether you need to download, or you are just following the email?

Unless your iMac is still covered by AppleCare, get an external DVD burner.
You can get perfectly good ones from Amazon for less than $40.

I only have 1 apple ID and the same was used to set up this early 2011 macbook pro and iPhoto app. I don't want to loose out on any photos. I tried logging out of app store and back in but no luck. PLEEAASEE HELPP!!!
This problem has been reported by quite a few forum members, who skipped the update to iPhoto 9.5.1 while running Mavericks. In that case try to purchase iPhoto again instead of updating.
After making your backup try the following:
Uninstall iPhoto by deleting it from the applications folder, but do not empty the Trash.
Launch the App Store, click the "Store" menu, and sign in with your AppleID.
Open the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto.
If iPhoto is listed as "Free", click the "Free" button to buy it with your current AppleID.
If it is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support, as Niel pointed out: http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/contact/

We did not install it. Also just today we went to a shop to ask for the password n=but they said in it on the little book that tells us how to use the imac. I looked throught that book memorized it but still could not find the password...

Well i am able to go through things, and everything. I dont know quite what that means but you dont need to enter a password to download Adobe Flashplayer. I just did it. wasnt asked. Of course I know the password I set up when I got the computer new but I have never been asked when downloading. When it comes to installing........
If you are being asked BY YOUR MACHINE for a password you do not know it is NOT a new machine.

How is the C6200 connected to the iMac, is it via USB or Wi-Fi? If it's via Wi-Fi please make sure it's connected to the router using the printer's Network Wizard. Then click System Preferences - Print & Scan and assuming the iMac is on the same network as the printer, if it is the printer should be seen. If it's not then click the + sign and add the printer. Apple provides instructions in Printing Overview OS X Lion

The folder would be at the root of your hard drive. Double-click Macintosh HD and look there.
If it isn’t there, I’m not sure what it is seeing.

Imac stops working when selecting external sound card for sound ouput

Hello everyone,
I have an IMac Mac OS X 10.6.8 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and an external soundcard Icon G Cube, perfectly compatible with Mac. I am triying to use the external soundcard for sound output. It connects via USB 2.0 HS to the IMAC. Soundcard drivers are updated and followed the installation process precisely. Now if I open system preferences sound I can select the ICON G Cube for sound output and sound input. I select it for sound output but when I change the volume or start a song from itune or youtube the screna becomes grey and a message saying: You need to restart your computer press the power button...Any idea what I can do to solve the issue?
