Yosemite osx 10.10 facetime return key call

updated to osx 10.10 yosemite.
before that, when i press return of [Cansel/FaceTime] on facetime, Facetime start calling.
though, now when i do that, FaceTime doesnt call.
i have to call without mouse, how can i do that?

I can't open my mail unless I use the Enter/Return key or go to the File -Open Message

Up until yesterday I could open an email just by double clicking the message. Now if I want to open a message I have to use the Enter/Return key or go into FILE and press Open Message.
The only thing different since yesterday morning is that I decided to turn off File Vault --that process took all day but finally finished and that's when I ran into problems with mail.
I've checked my mail settings and they are the same as before. Have OSX Yosemite 10.10.1 installed.

Thank you for your response. I finally found out why this was happening. It had to do with the Trackpad settings for my Mac. I adjusted the track speed to a slower speed as it was set quite fast. This seems to have fixed the problem :)
I’m not too computer savy so sometimes things can be a little confusing trying to figure out whats what and where to look for solutions.

Is there a way to get a soft keyboard on iOS to show ´join´ or ´send´ in the return key of a keyboard?

I saw that the ReturnKeyType [1] only supports a subset of value possible on iOS [2].
Basically the supported return key types are "done", "go", "next", "search" and "default" which corresponds to "enter" on iOS
while iOS also supports "Google", "Join", "Route", "Send", "Yahoo" and "Emergency Call".
Two of the iOS types "Join" and "Send" I would find quite useful in places I'm currenlty using the "go" return key type
Is there anyway to get the soft keyboard to show this labels on iOS?
Alternatively it would be great if "join" and "send" are added as Air ReturnKeyType's (e.g. they could default to "go" on other devices)

Automatic Row Processing (DML) - Return Key Into Item

Hello,
This question is on Apex 4.2:
I'm Displaying the [UNIKEY] column value after the record is inserted into the table using :
page process > process row table_name > Source: Automatic Row Processing (DML) > Return Key Into Item > "Item Name"
This works fine while inserting records, my question is why this does not respond on update / delete ?

Check your branches.
What might be happening is that on insert and update an other branch is followed.
Where the branch of the insert either isn't clearing the cache of the page or is setting the item with it's own value.
The branch on the update on the other hand is clearing the cache of the page and not setting the item.
With a delete there is a clear cache process generate by the wizard. Check if this process is only running on the delete and not on the update.
From memory the process is called something with reset.
If the above doesn't help try to replicate the problem on apex.oracle.com and give access with a guest developer account so we can have a look.

"Return" key code (bottom right of keyboard, Director doesn't recognize

Dear All,
I am trying to write a script that takes place when a user
presses the RETURN key located on the numeric keypad-bottom right
corner of the keyboard-but director doesn't seem to acknowledge the
key when it is pressed. It doesn't even go into "on keyDown"
script. Any ideas from anyone who has done this? Director works ok
for the "big" RETURN key in the middle but not for this one.

The two keys are not the same. On my PC there is only one
return key; they are usually marked with an arrow that symbolizes a
carriage return.
The one on the numeric keypad is called the ENTER key. Look
up the enter key in the docs.

Returning to Mail Preferences - Junk Mail, in the section
When junk mail arrives:
select mark as junk mail but leave it in my inbox
This should then give you the opportunity to mark it as Not Junk
and after several days it may improve.
I say 'may improve', based on my experience of when I upgraded to 10.5 a few years ago. It took a while to learn what I kept insisting was not junk. It is a slow learner but it got there.
P.S. When you are satisfied it is identifying junk reasonably accurately, you can change the Preferences setting back to 'Move it to the Junk mail box'

Return Key Into Item

The Primary key is generated through the sequence in trigger.
When I choose "Return Key Into Item" in the form of the insertion in table and insert here global variable, then beside me in table is inserted only primary key All rest fields remain empty.
As this correct?

It is used when you have a database object called a trigger providing the keys for your tables (The trigger normally gets the value from a sequence, another database object). The trigger returns the generated key, back to your form into an item.

Facetime click to call

Hello, in this moment I use Yosemite and FaceTime to make calls directly from my Mac (using my iphone) . FaceTime have click to call on browser, but reconize only phone numbers format : 01000000000. Do you know how I could do to recognize formats like: + 10-000.000.000. I tried in Contents (FaceTime) to find something to edit, but I did not found.

Iphone 6 Touch to return to call turns screen off before password

Just got this phone few days ago.. When going to voicemail it asks for password and when trying to return to call either im unable to
return to the call with screen turning blank... Sometimes it won't let me enter the password at all and just flickers off. Thus can't use the number key cause the screen flickers OFF. If there's no resolution this this issue I am considering returning the phone.

You have other issues going on if you are having to call your voicemail number and you are on AT&T. They support visual voicemail and you should be downloading the voicemail to your phone and not having to deal with a phone call at all. Call AT&T and have them reset your voicemail if it makes a phone call when you tap on the voicemail button.

How can I disable "return key moves to next cell" in Numbers 3?

I want to create a new line inside one cell. I'm using Number 3.5.2 on Yosemite.
In Numbers 2 there was an option whether I wanted the "return key [to move] to next cell", which I was able to disable.
Does this feature exist in Numbers 3? I haven't found it. If not, does anyone know a workaround? I could not find this question on the forums (for the current version of Numbers).

To insert a new line in a cell in Numbers 3, type option enter.

Touch to return to call

since updating to iOS 8, when I make calls, it automatically pops up the green screen at the top that says touch to return to call instead of having the call screen that has all of the options like speaker, FaceTime, And end call. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

I have iphone 4s and the same problem since last update. Can't call 'directly'. When I'm trying to make a call I'm getting only the green return-to-call top bar, no normal call screen. So I touch the green bar and then I get the call screen when I can receive the call. Seems I'm returning to the call that have been not received yet. Moreover, when I'm receiving a call, my phone is ringing but screen is still black. To receive a call I need to unblock the phone and... touch the green bar. Then receive the call normal way on standard call screen.

If you use a regular pattern when entering values, press enter (return) after entering the last value in a row. That will take you to the first Body Cell of the next row.
Start in Cell B2
1 Tab 2 Tab 3 Enter
4 Tab 5 Tab 6 Enter
7 Tab 8 Tab 9 Enter
Now you are ready to type into B5 .
Another way that some people find easier is to enter one column at a time
Start at B2
1 enter
4 enter
7 enter
etc.
Now start with C2.
Use whatever suits your work flow.

How do I perform an action on return key press in an inputListOfValues?

I know about the autoSubmit attribute, but I do not want to perform an action on a tab character or when exiting focus. Instead, I want to perform the same action as pressing a button when the user presses the return key in the input field. For example, an inputListOfValues for a search input, and a search button. When the user presses the return key, I would like the search to be performed. I'm sure that this can be done, I'm just not sure how. Thanks for any info.

I did something similar, on an input box, not on an inputListOfValues, but I assume it should work the same way more or less. I got it from

I used it for my login page so the user doesn't have to click on Login, just press enter after entering the password. I just had to map the corresponding method binding.
BTW, the link above doesn't tell you have to add the javascript to the page. What I did was add an af:resource element inside of af:document.
