I'm trying to get my dad to upgrade to dsl from dial-up and I just want to make sure that you can use dsl to download itunes 6 because on the windows requirement for downloading itunes 6 it said that you need broadband.

Yes thats correct. Broadband is just a general term for Hi speed Internet like DSL, Cable, and some Wireless connections in big towns and cities

Youll get that message when you change the iTunes account you are logged into, you can't keep changing it.

No not jailbroken. After the update which took about 45 minutes. The phone went black. Dead. Wouldn't restart. Using the new itunes I tried to restore it. It went through the motions; the white Apple and progress bar appeared on the iphone screen. Then I got a message "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes." Then the phone went completly dead again. I Repeated the process and got the same results. Is there another way to restore the phone if it's dead, besides itunes?

(I tried deleting itunes and re-installing it but apparently itunes was still on my computer so it asked me if I wanted to just check and see if there were any issues or missing software, so I did that but i still had the same problem.)

Hi, do you mean a real Dial-up Modem as in the old days?
As I recall, the Apple USB Modem won't work in 64 bit OSes, but there are others that will, I think this is one of them...

If a computer has been associated with a device (as well as iTunes Matct, it can become associated via automatic downloads or re-downloading past purchases) then you will either need to wait until the 90 days have completed : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

Is there a way to make YouTube download my selection completely before playing (like you can do with songs on iTunes)? I'm getting sick of start and stop during viewing!!

Apparently I typed my entire question into the subject line without knowing what I was doing!
I want to FULLY download selections from YouTube before attempting to view them. Just like you can select to fully download the samples of songs from iTunes. I am sick of the **** YouTube video going in and out, especially when I'm also downloading something else at the same time!
Please tell me how to set this 'preference,' if there is a way!

Sounds like you did this on the fly.
MM is supposed to open the Marker Panel Dialogue
M just sets a marker
Not sure if either are intended for on the fly during playback .
There is also a Marker Icon on the Source Window Pane >>

I only have 1 Apple ID. I turned off iTunes Match on my iMac, and now I cannot turn it back on. I get this error when I try to just turn iTunes Match back on, on the same computer, with the same Apple ID that I used orginially to subscribe to iTunes Match:

I had this happen back in December/January. I sold my MBP that I used to subscribe to iTunes Match back in December. In January, I bought a used MB and tried to use iTunes Match on it. I was told I had to wait nearly two months to use it on the new computer. I waited and was finally able to use it in the new computer.\
Sadly, this has more to do with the content providers (Record lables / movie studios) than it has to do with Apple impsoing the restrictions.

Thank you. I will try it... I'm trying Not to use my credit/debit card online.. I have both iTunes credit & App Store card credit on my iTunes I hope this works! I don't want my storage down graded before I can get another iTunes card.. I wish they had an extension date for few days.. Can't seem to download Itunes on my PC

I go to Itunes.com, it asks me for my e-mail, then it says downlad and I press, after a few seconds it says thank you for downloading itunes but nothing comes up on the desktop like it used to do. What am I doing wrong. I'm not a computer wizard Thanks

Downloading iTunes does only that. You still need to install the downloaded programme onto your computer.
If you don't know where the iTunes file has been saved to on your computer, try downloading it again and make a note of where it is being saved to. Once you know that, you can stop the second download and use the first one.
Usually, double-clicking on the saved file (in my case iTunes64Setup.exe) will start the install. Your file may be the 32-bit version, depending upon your machine.

After the verify procedure/download,as every time ,comes the windows within the installation info, but when i start the installation (from the button) comes a popup titled "You can not install the update "iTunes" ---- Unable to verify the update: This could be corrupted during download. The update will be downloaded and checked the next time you run Software Update. ----
...BUT NOTHING EVERY TIME SHOW ME THE SAME ERROR

iTunes will only import music from your phone that was purchased from the iTunes store. To transfer music from other sources you have to use 3rd party software, such as PhoneView.
