Using iBooks Author to make a book you have created a link to another part of your book but how do you get the reader back to the original page?

Asking me to be verbore is a dangerous thing :-)
When you eneter information into iTunes Producer for uploading, the info must match what is in the internal metadata. In this case, the book is called Mississippi, but in iTunes Producer it is spelled Misssissippi. There is an extra "s". This will cause an error.

Thanks, this was the clue I needed to figure it out.
From Settings you can pull up Control Center.
In Control Center you can enable "Access from within Apps" (also "Access from Lockscreen")
Now when I'm playing music, I can swipe up from the bottom and a little control center window slides up. Neat - this is new since my old iPod. On this window, the name of the current Bluetooth connection appears. Tap on that, and a list of connected Bluetooth items appears. I just tap on the one I want to connect to and I am now playing through the speakers I want.

Show us a screenshot of the filename in LR that includes the extension of the file.
Right-click on one of these files and do Show in Explorer, then show us a screenshot of the files in the folder that includes the extensions--maybe a Details view.

If the apps are not on your computer's iTunes (did you do File > Transfer Purchases prior to starting the update ?), then you could try downloading them to your computer (re-downloading) and then restoring to your backup and see if that restores them and their settings/content - a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings, so for the restore to work fully iTunes needs access to the apps so that it can restore them.

2 computers at home working with the same files i keep on an external hard drive to free up space the internal drives. I have an airport extreme time capsule to back up both computers. how can i get it to back up the hard drive plugged into time capsual?

I did the upgrade to maverics on my imac which has caused me a major headache as now all my apature albums have been updated to 3.5.1 but my macbook pro can no longer open them because im unable to upgade it to maverics, but thats another story.

The TC for whatever it is promoted as,, is still a simple hard disk in a router. It was designed for laptops to use as a backup. A desktop can use a USB drive, faster cheaper and more reliable than a network drive but the laptops need a network wireless storage. Hence the TC. It is NOT nor was it ever designed to do the job you are trying to use it for.. it is not a NAS.. it has no internal backup.
What is more Time Machine has no ability to backup network drives no matter what their format.
So the solution is to either use a real backup software.. eg Carbon Copy Cloner which can do far more than TM can or ever will. It is around $40 so hardly expensive. But since the TC was never designed for it, this will be slow.. and the next question is where are you going to back to. Using the TC as backup location for your files is less than great. Primarily because all your files are still on the same device albeit on different disk. It is also because mixing data and TM backups is not so great. The TC cannot be partitioned although you can alleviate some of the issues..

Fundamentally the TC is the wrong place to do this.
The right place is to plug the USB drive into the iMac.. since it is a desktop machine and you are probably not lugging it around. Simply share the USB drive to the network.
The MBP can then access the USB drive, and it will be around twice the speed of networking to the same drive on the TC. TM on the iMac can then also backup the USB drive to the TC as part of the normal TM backups.
The only thing is the iMac needs to be turned on to allow MBP access.

Try downloading the current version of the iBooks app on your computer's iTunes so that the app is in your account's purchase history. Then on your iPad go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app and you should be able to download an older compatible version of the app.

If I import a CD onto iTunes with tracks that have more than one person on (eg Rihanna ft Drake), it puts these tracks in a separate album. How do I get them all back into the same album?

You can avoid accidental purchases.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Parental tab.
Select: iTunes Store

My screenshots have stopped going to my clipboard. How can I get my screenshots back into the clipboard?

I use Command (⌘)-Shift-4 to grab screenshots of diagrams to make flashcards with on a daily basis. But now my screenshots have stopped going to my clipboard - and they don't paste into my flashcards.
Dropbox popped up and asked me if I wanted to use it to save my screenshots and I said No Thanks, but then right after that my screenshot function stopped working. I can still save shots to my desktop, but I'd love to not clutter my desktop. The screenshots are not going to dropbox either, I checked.
Can someone tell me how to get my screenshots to go back to going into my clipboard?

Thanks Lanny! I actually typed in the wrong command into my question - I meant to type what you mentioned. But I did end up figuring it out: for some reason the shortcut to screenshot into my clipboard changed. I was able to restore all my shortcut commands back to default and it worked again!

Apple says not to carry your iphone near your body, but how are you supposed to carry it? What does everyone think about this?

Just curious, I don't see much about this topic, but apparently the radiation levels of this phone are very high. I bet most people carry their phones in their pockets, yet no one is asking about the fact that apple says not to. Is this practical? Is this something to be concerned about?
