You Tube videos that have two audio tracks?

When I view videos on my Mac there are two audio tracks with them. If I pause the video, an audio track is still heard, but I can't seem to control it. Any thoughts?

Vinay,
This is weird, but I don't know if it related to the Audio label issue.  There seems to be no rhyme or reason to where the which audio track is used when I place an item into a video track.  In this project I am using .mts files for my video and the audio has been going into Audio 2, except for the one marked in the image below, which is in Audio 3.  When I tried to move it to Audio 2, it slipped up to Audio 1.  This is throwing me off, because I have background music in Audio 3 and want a different audio level.

  • Cutting two audio tracks in synchrony with video, question

I had to chop my movie in two because it did not fit on one DVD. This forum suggested that you make a complete second copy and delete the second half of one, and the first half of the other copy and burn your DVD with the respective halves. No problem with the first half, I deleted the video and had to go back and individually delete the audio tracks and everything stayed in synchrony. The problem arises when trying to delete the first half of the movie and not being able to use the play head to delete audio and video simultaneously. The audio of the first half of the movie is preserved, and if I delete the audio one track at a time it will shift the audio in relation to the video. I thought there would be a way of chopping off the video and audio tracks at the same point without the tedious task of trying to put everything back in sync "by hand". I have two audio tracks so it might be tricky to cut at the end of one audio track, without getting the other out of sync. Thanks for suggestions.

    Hi Mike:
Perhaps the easiest way is to export the entire movie back to DV tape and then re-importing to imovie. That way, the entire movie is now combined into a "flattened" version. Meaning the audio and video are combined together into one video track, making it possible to split the final version in two.
Pain in the neck, but much easier that doing it one clip at a time.

  • Ripping the background using two audio tracks

I have two audio tracks for a show. One is in English the other in Japanese. Both have the exact same music and sound effect. But different voices. Is there a way I can perform an operation that leaves me with the background audio alone?

Do you know of any program that can do such a feat?
Audition does what's possible (see Durin's answer) as well as any software can. If you are dealing with mono files, then SuiteSpot's answer is the gospel truth - and that goes for all available and unavailable software.
Basically, you have to have some means of isolating a particular part of something in a unique way - this is how the Center Channel extractor works. The thing that this does is to say that a signal that's only in one location in a stereo field can be isolated - just by its position, nothing else. So if you have a mono voice superimposed on a stereo background then the mono voice can be isolated. But because it's by position, then anything else at the same spatial spot will also be eliminated - and almost inevitably this will mean that part of your music track will be extracted as well, so it's not going to be perfect.
Please, just don't believe everything you hear on CSI (or any similar crime show). What they purport to be able to do forensically simply isn't possible in the way they appear to claim.

  • Synchronizing two audio  tracks

Hi, I have two audio tracks, one instrumental and one vocal. I want to attach the vocals to the instrumental. When I import both files to the garageband program I can't get them to synchronize. In other words I can't get the vocals to match up with the instrumental track. Is there any way to auto synch, or anything that can help me synch these two tracks. If anymore explaining is required let me know. I use garageband 3.0.4 if that info helps.

Why can't you sync them? Do they have different tempos? If they have the same tempo, you can just shift them back and forth until they match. Make sure you turn snap-to-grid off (cmd-g).

  • Two audio tracks with same label

I have two audio tracks labeled Audio3.  Is this something normal or an anomoly?  Can I correct this?  Thank you for you help.

  • Why video with two audio tracks imports like one track (main)?

Ok, lets face one simple thing that is incredibly stupid in Premiere CC:
    - I make video with two audio tracks (screencast with system sounds and microphone, separated)
    - Import it to Premiere CC and see only one audio track, system sounds!
    - What should I do to see both of them?
    - Why Sony Vegas don't make me to go to support forums and make them both visible without extra actoins?

    Great first post!

You could have read the Premiere Manual or watched the Adobe TV Tutorials or gone to edit school  instead ...

  • No audio In You Tube Videos

This program tells me that I do have Adobe Flash Player installed in my computer, but why then do I not have audio in You Tube videos?
I do have audio in Windows Media Player and in Amazon Cloud Player.

Do you have audio on and fully open on Youtube?

  • I have an ipad 2 and when connected to my wifi at home it will not download and play you tube videos quickly.  Do I need to upgrade my connenction speed?  What is the optimal speed?

I have an ipad2.  When connected to my wifi at home it will not download you tube videos for easy viewing.  Do I need to upgrade my connection speed?  Would 3 Mbps be enought or do I need to go to 6 Mbps.  I mainly use my ipad to view emails, browse the internet and watch you tube videos.
    thanks - Michelle

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
There are a number of factors in the 'speed' equation. Any or all of them can affect the 'observed' speed of your connection.
    1. Are you in a neighborhood full of WiFi routers (and thus, lots of WiFi interference)? I can 'see' at least 22 other WiFi routers from my living room!
    2. What is the maximum connect speed and band and bandwidth available from your wireless router. Is it 802.11n or the older 802.11a/b/g? 300Mbits or 150Mbits? 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz or both? Does your router measure (QoS) Quality of Service and can it change 'channels' automatically?
    3. What is the observed strength of your wireless connection? Are you getting at least 80% signal when connected? Are there other people in your family also using significant bandwidth at the same time (Netflix, streaming video, streaming audio, game systems)
    4. What is the "advertised" speed of your current ISP connection?
    5. What is the measured throughput of your current setup.  Go to speedtest.net or use the free speedtest.net app available in the App Store.  Try several times, from different locations in your home, and at different times of day and night.
I have AT&T DSL advertised at 3Mbit/sec down and 512Kbit/sec up. My Speedtest.net measured throughput is about 2.4 Mbit/sec downstream and upstream is about 0.4Mbit/sec. I'm using a Motorola Netopia 2210-2 DSL modem. I have no problem viewing YouTube videos and other mobile video content on the iPad 2.  I'm connected wirelessly to a D-Link DIR-655 Gigabit router rated at 150Mbps at 2.4Ghz (only) with 802.11 b/g/n enabled. The interior of my home is within a range of 30-50 feet from the router and no more than 1 wall.  It is a single level concrete slab foundation of about 1500 sq. ft. with cathedral ceilings. I have successfully streamed ESPN3.com on my MacBook at the same time my son was streaming another ESPN3.com game on his MacBook Pro. I've streamed YouTube videos while my son was watching a NetFlix movie on his Wii game system. He's also successfully used Skype for extended 'teleconferences.' None of my devices are connected to HDMI on a large screen TV. 95% of the time, I can do iChat video without any signal breakup to my son (who is at a college with a Gigabit (1000Mbit) wired connection!). 5% of the time the connection drops. We haven't tried FaceTime (designed for mobile connections to be much less bandwidth-intensive, from what I understand) simply because we both have iChat on our computers.
So for me, a 3Mbit DSL connection is absolutely adequate, given all the other parameters mentioned. As the car manufacturers say, "Your mileage may vary."

Did you check the home page setting?
*Firefox > Preferences > General > Startup: Home page
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page
If you do not keep changes after a restart then see:
You can also check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/867968
Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11
If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

I think you mean "importing", not downloading.
Downloading is when you copy a file from an Internet server to your computer.
Channel one will not separate from channel two.
    Any suggestions?
Select the two tracks and choose Modify > Stereo Pair
Or you can just use the keyboard shortcut option-L
