You don't say which version of OS X you're running, but have you downloaded the latest version of Flash Player from Adobe?

  • Suddenly you tube will not load

All of a sudden (about 4 or 5 days ago) You tube stopped working on my ipad.  I've never had this issue before.  It's not that I can't sign in, or that the videos load slowly, ...the page won't even open at all !  It won't open through the You Tube app, nor through safari.  I get redirected to: m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=2F&gl=US#/home  and the screen just remains blank.   Any help would be appreciated.

    Yep, been having problems too.
My ipod touch 4g ios5 displays a blank page when I browse to m.youtube.com.
Doing the same on a ipod touch 2g and iphone 3gs does not have a problem, and the page loads as normal.
I have cleared the safari cache and data via settings, and powered off the machine. None of this has fixed it.
I shouldn't have to restore the whole thing from a backup - the bug should be fixed!!!
It's not that I can even rely on the default youtube app - that's extremely slow and unusable. Not so on the 2 older machines.
Come on Apple - what's going on?

  • Iphone 5 will not synch, itunes stops responding

I have had my iphone 5 for over a year.  In the last month when I plug it in, itunes will freeze up and stop responding.  I can not synch, add new music, new movies.  I have to shut down itunes.  This happens whether I plug in my iphone or my husband's iphone (both iphone 5's).  Without an iphone plugged in, itunes will not freeze.  My iPad air synchs just fine.
We have shut down the computer, we have tried numerous times.  All software is up to date.  Itunes is running 11.2.0.115.  The iphones are running iOS 7.1.1.  This was happening on iOS 7.1 but I don't believe it was happening before that update.
    Any ideas?

    Hi gt7473c,
It sounds like iTunes works fine until you connect your iPhones. The article below provides several tips that can resolve the issue including suggestions that will help isolate the issue to the iOS devices or computer.
iTunes: May become unresponsive when connecting iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3219
    Symptoms
In rare instances, iTunes may become unresponsive when connecting an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your computer. iTunes may become responsive again after you disconnect the device from the computer.
    Resolution
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Install any available software updates for your computer.
For Mac OS X: Click the Apple () menu, choose Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions.
For Windows: Refer to the documentation for your computer for instructions on using Windows Update to update your computer.
Update iTunes to the latest version.
For Mac OS X: Click the Apple () menu, choose Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also download iTunes from the Apple website.
For Windows: Use Apple Software Update, or download iTunes from the Apple website.
Test with automatic syncing disabled.Reconnect your device and test to see if the issue still occurs. If your device is recognized successfully, you may be able to isolate which type of data is causing the issue. Do this by deselecting all syncing options under each of the syncing tabs and then sync. After that, re-enable your sync options one at a time until the issue returns.
Note: If the issue only occurs when syncing data from the Info tab is enabled (For example: Contact, Calendar, Mail account or Bookmark syncing), reset the Sync History (for Mac OS X instructions see this article, for Windows see this article).
For Mac OS X: Click the iTunes menu and choose Preferences. Click the Devices tab and place a check next to option to "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically." Click OK.
For Windows: Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences. Click the Devices tab and place a check next to option to "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically." Click OK.
Check your device for podcasts. If there are any podcasts, manually delete all podcast episodes from the device by sliding your finger across the podcast episode's name and tapping Delete. Once all podcasts are removed from your device, reconnect it to the computer, open iTunes, and test.
If possible, test to see if connecting your device to a different computer with the latest version of iTunes installed resolves the issue.
    Test with iTunes plug-ins removed.
    Quit iTunes.
Navigate to the following folder, based on your operating system:
    Windows XP:  C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins
    Windows Vista or Windows 7:  C:\Users\[username]\App Data\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins
    Mac OS X:
~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins   (The "~" represents your Home folder)
    /Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins
If any files are in this folder, move them to the Desktop temporarily.
Open iTunes and test to see if the issue is resolved. If so, you may leave these iTunes plug-ins removed. If you wish to re-use these iTunes plug-ins, consult the vendor for the iTunes plug-ins to see if any updates are available.
If the issue also occurs on a different computer:
If the issue does not occur on a different computer, or no other computer is available to try:

  • You Tube will not play in Safari 3.0.4

I am not able to watch You Tube videos in their entirety 95% of the time. Occasionally, I have been able to view a complete video, but most of the time I can only watch 5-10 seconds before the video stops. I have tried emptying the cache, but this makes no difference. I have had this problem with 3 different ISP's, so that does not seem to be the problem either. I have a decent DSL connection right now. Is this common, or is anyone else able to consistently view You Tube without any problems?

Ah, alright. Not as dire as it could be then. For starers, try quitting Safari and trashing the contents of your cache folder, ~/Library/Caches/Safari/. Also, if you're not particularly attached to browser history, also trash the file, ~/Library/Safari/History.plist.

  • Web Pages will not load completely or respond to my action

I open Firefox and my home pages do not load properly or completely, nor will any of my commands work. I uninstalled
Firefox, downloaded and installed a new firefox and it is still doing the same exact thing.

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

  • You Tube is not loading on FF 7.0.1 but is on Safari

Firefox 7.0.1 is not recognizing you tube at all. I have cut and pasted several sites with the same response. I then cut and pasted then in Safari and they worked without buffering or any other problem.

Close Firefox Control-click the Firefox.app icon Select "Get Info", and then check the box, "Open in 32-bit mode".
    thank you

  • Firefox 29 either will not startup or stops responding immediately

I just downloaded the latest version of Firefox and immediately found it to be unstable; stopped responding 4 times within minutes of updating. Most of the time all I had to do was click Bookmarks and it would stop responding. Tried searching for help on here and tried a few things including clearing my cache, removing cookies and setting it clear history when it closes... etc
Now Firefox is completely unusable. Sometimes it won't start at all and when it does startup it immediately stops responding altogether. I have to force it to close by ending the processes. I have tried opening FF in safe mode, resetting it, uninstalling it and going back to ver 28, restarting my laptop... nothing works. Am assuming this is because it remembers my settings each time. I don't want to lose my bookmarks and extensions etc. so don't delete them along with uninstalling FF.
What can I do to fix this?

    Think I might've found a solution.
AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles - went into the profile I currently use (left the default one alone) and removed the following: cookies.sqlite, cookies.sqlite-shm and cookies.sqlire-wal.
Then Firefox started normally and would respond, allowing me to return settings to what they were i.e deselecting 'Clear history when Firefox closes' which I've read is buggy in ver 29.
Firefox is now working normally and so far hasn't crashed.

  • What to do if the movie you purchased will not load

I tried downloading a movie and it charged me for it, but whenver I try playing it it says "Error while loading". I tried a hour later and the same thing showed up. What do I do?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router.

  • You Tube does not work!

I have a new build and flash player does not work, it is loaded as I can see it in Manage add-ons.  you tube will not see flash player as I keep getting an error message saying "The ADobe Flash Player is required for video playback" with the option "get the latest flash player". I tried downloading, unloading and downloading and nothing works.  I have Windows 7 64 bit, Explorer 9.  I have never had this problem before loading Flash Player on a new system.  I also have Adobe Acrobat Standard x loaded, if that makes any difference.  It worked fine on my old system with Flash Player.   Any ideas?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Can't say for sure that it is permitted or works everywhere, but most countries include a YouTube app on the iPad. Links to non-flash videos on YouTube, and works beautifully.
