You've been signed out - CC Desktop App

Any ideas why this is happening? The CC software that I have installed will not launch and I am unable to to download/install other software.
I am able to log-in to my CC account through Firefox, and everything looks fine from there.

Here Mike,
Looks like users will have to solve our own problems.  Turns out you have to do what's on this page:
http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html
But I'm reposting the fix in case they remove the page.  Solution 2 + 3  worked for me...
Solution 2: Clean up cached user login information.
Delete the opm.db file.
Close the Creative Cloud application.
Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
Delete the opm.db file.
Launch Creative Cloud.
Solution 3: Reinstall Creative Cloud and clean up cached user login information.
Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud. Windows
Open the Windows Control Panel > Programs And Features.
Choose Adobe Creative Cloud and click Uninstall/Change.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
Mac OS
Open Finder and go to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
Double-click Adobe Creative Cloud to remove.
Follow onscreen instructions.
Repeat the steps from Solution 2.
Launch Creative Cloud.

  • Creative Cloud Desktop issue: "you've been signed out" when trying to sign in

    Hi,
Following the resolution guide for this issue on the adobe site, I have deleted the opm.db file from the oobe folder.  But the issue still remains.
    Steps carried out
    Quit the app
    Deleted opm.db file
    launched the app
    signed in
    same error
I have also done a restart after deleting the file.
    I also reinstalled the application.
Is this issue due to the maintenance?  My Colleague has the same issue.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi All,
    Issue:
When you launch the Creative Cloud desktop app, a "You've been signed out" message appears.
    Troubleshoot points of note.
    Mac Mavericks OS
This is happening on two Macs – regardless of user credentials used
This works using the user’s credentials from a PC using the windows Creative Cloud Desktop App
Creative Cloud Desktop successful downloaded one app on the 16/06/2014 to the Mac
    Adobe’s Resolution
    https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unable-login-creative-cloud-248.html
Also tried renaming another folder – AAMupdater in the Adobe folder, as suggested on an Adobe Forum
Deleted OOBE folder in a second location (location that differs from that in the guide above)
Also used the Creative Cloud Cleaner to tidy up installation files
This issue is still on going and I have submitted a log to Adobe Tech for analysis on User: Daniel above.
If anyone has a solution please let me know.

  • "You've been signed out" error every time I try to sign into Creative Cloud desktop application.

I keeping getting a "You've been signed out" message everytime I try to log into the Creative Cloud desktop application.
I have tried the following to no avail:
Uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app.
Renaming the OOBE folder to OOBE-old.
    Deleting everything in the SLCache.
All of the above were suggested either on these forums or by support. None have worked.
I am on a team membership.
I am currently using Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5.
I am on a Mac running Mavericks (OSX 10.9).
Nothing seems to be working and I have been passed from department to department on the support chat window thing.
Someone, for the love of God, please help.

CM_Martketing and MikeBanks are correct, but I think what is confusing some people is that they are mistaking their Mac HD for the user name. I kind of had to mash up 2 posts to get it right:
1: Open Activity monitor from spotlight and end all Adobe related processes. You may find processes like AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon process.
2: Open Finder and navigate Macintosh HD/Users/[your user name]/Library (the library folder might be grayed out, just right click and select open)
3: Now navigate to Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/.. folder.
4: Delete opm file under OOBE.
    5: Rename OOBE to OOBEold.
6: Check if you have AAMupdater in the adobe folder.
7: Please rename it to AAMupdaterold.
8: Click on gear icon on Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Quit Creative Cloud.
9: Then launch it, sign-in and click on Apps tab.
It worked perfectly! Thanks everyone, I've been trying to figure this out for a month!

  • Adobe Creative Cloud desktop says "You've been signed out Please sign in again to continue"

I just got a 1 year subscription to Creative Cloud earlier today to work on my college class at home. When I try to log in I get the message "You've been signed out" immediatly after signing in. I downloaded the applicaiton on a Macbook Pro to see if I get the same result, but I logged in flawlessly. I have tried the IMSLibReplacer (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unable-login-creative-cloud-248.html) a couple times, but nothing changes. I have attached a picture of the application. Any advice would help!
    Thanks!

  • I keep getting the "You've been signed out" message - Cannot login to download apps

I keep getting the "You've been signed out" message, even after the CC update. I created a new account today, and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC, but nothing has changed.
Can't log into my account = can't download or access the apps I need for work.
After checking the forums, this seems to have happened to quite a few people. I wouldn't be so antsy if it weren't for the fact that I need to access a project immediately.
The chat isn't working, so someone PLEASE HELP!!
    Val

Ok, so I had to resort to Twitter, but a lovely person by the name of Britt at @AdobeCare gave me a hand we were able to solve the issue. I'm posting the links she sent me, hopefully they'll be of use to anyone who encounters the same issue.
Solution 2 is what did it for me:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html
I'm on a Mac, and the only problem I encountered was that I couldn't reach the Library folder from my User Name (I think the folder was hidden) which was preventing me from finding the opm.db file that needed to be deleted.
If this happens to you, try this:
Open Finder, click Go (next to File, View, Edit, etc) and click Go to Folder...
Then type in /Users/[insert your profile name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
That'll reveal the opm.db that needs to be deleted.
Click here for other ways to find the hidden folder: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html
This is what ultimately worked for me. After deleting that .db file, I relaunched CC and signed in without a problem.
Hope this is useful to someone!
    xo

  • You've been signed out (CC) related question

I unhid the app/local files and found the naughty opm.db file, which I think I'm encouraged to delete in order to fix the CC Cloud desktop login problem ("you've been signed out.).  I am tempted to delete the opm.db file now BUT...my Photography CC program link is still open through the Photography CC application itself and my updates for Photo CC apparently work there (I just updated my RAW plug-in in Photography CC.)  Therefore, I am inclined to NOT perform the fix (that is, delete the opm.db file) UNLESS someone with technical knowledge assures me that deleting the file will not cause problems elsewhere.  In other words, my connectivity through Photoshop CC remains open so I can use Photo CC, which is the only CC Adobe app that interests me.  However, I would like feedback regarding the validity of my concern.  Thanks.

I can't help with any potential interference, but you might read at these links

  • "You've been signed out" CC Message

My CC Desktop Application manager became signed out last night, and responded with the 'You've been signed out' message every time I tried to log back on.  So I had a Google and found the 'Delete opm.db' tip.  I tried to be caucious and just add a .bak to the file name, but I was not allowed to because it was in use.  I evntually just deleted it, and was indeed able to log back on to the Desktop Application manager, (DAm)
So all was well, except if I close the DAm for any reason, or restart the computer, I so far have to go back to App data\local\Adobe\OOBE\  and delete opm.db again to be able to sign in to the DAm.   That is not right.
I also found the Run the IMSLib Replacer (WINDOWS only) tip which suggest a link to USB devices being plugged in or unplugged, and I have a possible corilation with that because I had added another mouse (Razer Mamba) to the system not long before the initial problem.  I have not tried running ISLMLibReplacer.exe yet, although I have unplugged the Razer mouse.
So It looks like I can get by, but I would obviously like to be free of needing work-arrounds.
    I'm running 1.5.1.369
    Windows 7 Pro
    Full CC subscription
Everything is up to date, with the exception on an InDesign 9.2.1 update.  My bandwidth is pants, so I am leaving that update for when I can spare the bandwidth.
Thanks for any tips or suggestions
    Trevor

  • You've been signed out message

I keep getting the You've been signed out message in Creative Cloud App. I followed directions and quit the app, reinstalled the app and still get the same message. I have the app on my desktop computer and don't have any problems, I want to install the software on my laptop.

Try this. It worked for me on Windows 7: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5985810
Please delete OOBE folder from this location and it should fix the issue.
    Windows:

Please let me know if it helps.

    //Kasper

Make sure CC is not running by stopping in task manager.
    Navigate to: C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    delete 'opm'
    Open CC and sign in.

  • I get a You've been signed out message when you try to sign in. None of the Support page suggestions work. Emails from Adobe are meaningless

How do you fix the problem.
Here's a suggestion. Let us  access Adobe CC via the Apple App store. That works.
    Adobe CC doesn't
