I recieved the following email, I live in Hong Kong and bought the CS6 Master Collection from Hong Kong. But I don't know why when I create an account at Adobe, my state is USA, I can't change it. How can I change the state to be Hong Kong?

    Did you contact Adobe last week for assistance in downloading the educational version of Acrobat 9 Pro for Windows after a hard drive crash? That is what this case was in reference to.

    Having purchased Photoshop elements 10 runtime error messages started to appear even when the program was not open. My IT adviser pointed to Photoshop elements and it was reported to Adobe through the forum. You technical advisor made suggestions which failed to clear the problem. I uninstalled the program to do a fresh installation but then got a message to say that "This program will not run in Windows XP.
    I contacted the Adobe help center and was told to go to the Web site and download a trial version. I did that and it installed and worked perfectly. I have used the serial number from the original (registered) disc purchased from PC World. I have not registered the trial copy. As this is a trial copy on my computer, should I now register this?
    I would still like to have a hard copy (disc) so that should I need to rebuild my computer at some time, I have a registered copy that works, how do I now get a replacement disc ?

    Yes, you can just use the serial number on the downloaded trial copy.  The trial download is a full-blown Elements 10 that you can convert to a licensed version by entering a serial number you have paid for, and you can install and license PSE10 on up to two computers with that one serial number, although I think you are saying it is all on the same computer, so you’ll only use up one of the two.
    At least burn your own disk of the trial download, since that is the one that worked, although you’re welcome to talk to Adobe about getting a replacement disc, too.

    I can no longer access a particular TypeKit family, Lato, on the site I’ve been working with. Everything shows up as plain Arial (not even bold or italic). Lato shows up when I preview a page, but that doesn't do me much good. Other TypeKit fonts seem to load and work fine. But suddenly not Lato.

    On March 30th I spent over 3 hours on two separate chats and screen shares with your tech team trying to fix the OCR problem.  I was told my case was being elevated and I would hear back.  It has been 8 days and I have not heard anything.  If you read the notes on my file you will see I originally had Acrobat 9 Pro and updated to 11 Pro in order to get my OCR working properly.  Since it was downloaded it has not worked.  Two separate techs have tried several things some duplicate and have not been able to get it running.  Please contact me asap to get this fixed.
    We have tried uninstalling and re-installing, we have tried renaming files and copy and pasting them else where.
    Here is the last i heard from anyone in our transcript from chat support call:

    nope I'm not saying that at all. I was delicately trying to suggest that you may have been mistaken, and that the audio preview in HDV log & capture was never there, not even before.
    Audio Preview is a feature of the non HDV Log & Capture window
    ... try it. change your Easy Setup to DV/DVCPRO NTSC and then open Log & Capture . look familiar? this is the standard L&C tool and does indeed feature a Preview checkbox, for Audio, in the Clip Settings tab. now close the L&C window and then change your Easy Setup back to HDV, open up L&C again ... the Preview checkbox is not there ... my contention (although I may well be wrong!) is that it never was.

    If you look on the back of the iPod, underneath the bit which says 20gb/40gb etc, it says serial number in TINY letters - this is your case number.

    They already have your number and/or email address and maybe have sold it several times already to others as well. They also use number generators - software that will automatically create them - some work and some don't, they don't care, they send out millions and a few will fall for it and send them money. The only way to "hide" would be to change both and your password, but then it would happen again at some point.
