Am I the only one who doesn't see any figures (tried in FF & IE). Selecting from the LOV makes the page load but selecting an option e.g. regional salary / experience doesn't show anything.
Edit: Europe doesn't show actually.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our salary survey. We are busy working to compile, summarize and publish the results. The information will be available through the Oracle certification website and I&rsquo;ll let you know through the Oracle Certification Blog when it is ready.</p>
<p>In the meantime however, I'd like to share some pre-release details that are interesting:</p>
<ol>
<li>Certified professionals earn over 13% more than non-certified counterparts.</li>
<li>Years of experience in a role makes a big difference in overall compensation.</li>
<li>Pay between various job roles (architect, developer, administrator) can be markedly different.</li>
<li>Professionals who have earned more than one Oracle certification earn more than those hold one, and typically - the more certifications that you hold, the more likely you are to earn more.</li>
</ol>
<p>I&rsquo;ll discuss specific results in more detail when the salary survey results become available, and give my perspective on what it means to certification-holders and those considering certification. </p>
<p>I look forward to your comments and thoughts!

• NEWBIES: your input needed, Beginners Forum

If you've been reading other posts... it appears that there seems to be some disagreement brewing.
Anyhow, what i've done:
I went to another forum called
"NEW FORUM SUGGESTIONS" & started a post there called "BEGINNERS FORUM". Maybe if enough requests are made, we could separate the truly "new & really needing assistance" from the "that was a stupid question crowd".

Your compiler should tell you exactly what and where the problem is - look on the line it references and look for something you call a method on, the problem is either that the reference you call a method on is null, or some method you call is throwing it. Throw in some debug statements to try and figure out what went null and where.
If you can't post the relevant code here between
&
tags and we can try and track it down.
Good Luck

Dear all,
We are having trouble finding a work-around that allows external suppliers to access our Oracle site without being on the internal client network. The problem is as follows:
After issuing an RFQ, suppliers receive an email with a link to the client RFQ on the Oracle Production site. Clicking the link, suppliers receive an error message saying the link is broken, because they are not on the internal network of the client, and thus cannot access Oracle Production for answering the RFQ.
Oracle sits on the client intranet, and we are looking for something that would allow us to put certain elements (i.e. RFQ) onto the internet for all clients with a username and password to access. If you know of a work-around for this, please contact me asap.
Thanks, in advance, for your help!

• Oracle Certification : Help needed

Hi friends !
I want to prepare for Oracle certification. But I am in dilemma as there are two versions of Oracle : 9i and 10g for which the certification exams exists.
10g is the latest one and I think it will be better to prepare for it. But in my project we are using 9i and I wud b able to do all the practice on it.
Moreover 10g has only one paper for OCA whereas for 9i I need to clear 2 exams for OCA.
Can anybody tell me the differences between the two ?
And will all 10g commands necessary for certification run on 9i platform ?
Plz suggest which one should I go for !!

If you just want the OCP title then do 10G. If you want to be a better DBA, do the 9i OCP and then upgrade to 10G. I am 10G OCP and I could clearly see that the level of detail of the 9i study material is far superior to that of the 10G study material.
For 10G OCP they seem to assume that the database will tune itself and that you can backup and recover your database but clicking around in Enterprise Manager. This is all good in theory but if those tools fail then you still need to know what to do to get your database working.

• Need input on Oracle Cash Management

Hi,
The payments done from a legacy system need to be interfaced to Oracle Cash Management for bank reconciliation purposes.
Need help if anybody has worked on this using CE_999_INTERFACE_V.
Please mail in your inputs as quickly as possible with the sample code if possible.
Appreciate your quick help ~
Regards,
Suman

You could acquire software (e.g. 3i Mobile Workplace or similar) that could handle the decision processing with little effort.
If you wish to build a solution then the time/cost will depend on the complexity of the task visualization. You can create a Java client or use a simple HTML based web app.
The decision task can be visualized using a custom BSP or WebDynpro application. Communication with the BlackBerry could be via RIM push or you could just send an email with a link to your approval application.
The app would need to reserve the workitem and then complete the decision using the appropriate SAP_WAPI* RFC's.
Bear in mind that all the above assumes you are distributing the approval tasks within your corporate network supported by the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and MDS.
One of the bigger issues when using web apps is authentication. By default a web app requires the user to log on using their SAP user ID and password. Using a network user ID and password or using silent authentication is possible but requires more effort.

• SCCM 2012 R2 PxE can't boot - your pc need to be repired.

Dear All,
These days, I upgraded SCCM 2012 to R2 , after that PxE can't boot , and shows a blue screen that your pc need to be repired, same issue like this:http://www.gerryhampsoncm.blogspot.ie/2013/02/sccm-2012-task-sequence-fails-with-bcd.html
And, i have also re-configed the pxe more times follow by this acticle , and still failed.
And, after I replace the \RemoteInstall\SMSTemp\2014.01.08.12.31.26.01.{xxxxxxxxx}.boot.bcd to \RemoteInstall\Tmp\x86x64{xxxxxxx}.bcd, and the PC can boot to the winpe well. that means the pc using Tmp folder's BCD store
to boot to WinPE, and not using SMSTemp's.
I check the PxE process:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc722358(v=ws.10).aspx
PXEBoot.com downloads Bootmgr.exe and the BCD store, and I think PXEBoot.com should download BCD store from SMSTemp folder, and should not be the Tmp folder.
So, my question is that why te PXEBoot.com download BCD from Tmp folder ? And how can I change it to download BCD from SMSTemp folder. ? I have been getting to crazy about this fucking problem.
Nemo

Reinstalling WDS and the PXE was not the answer, at least not for me, but I dunno about the original poster as he kept quiet.
For now I am trying to get SCCM2012 R2 running as this is the topic for my final projekt.
But I am stuck here, the problem is the same as the original poster mentioned.
Even thougt DHCP options are set to my CM and smsboot\x86\wdsnbp.com, pxe keeps loading boot\... and fails.
Making a copy from smsboot to boot and renaming the file fixes it in a dirty way.
The WDS-service has never been configured manually, after rolling back to a fresh Server and installing CU1 first nothing changed about that (PXE worked at all at least) und reinstalling the living dead out of the roles and features fixes nothing.
The remoteinstall folder gets populated everytime, with the SMS related stuff and the wds related stuff, I guess (boot, SMSboot, ...).
I tried various variations of the start path, TFTP still loads from boot instead smsboot.
The Images have been temporarily replaced with the one from our old site.
I renewed the whole site, this bugs me since 2012 R1 and R2 is the second site too.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help with an working solution.
Let me know if you need some more informations, site is described below.
In case this should get another Thread, let me know.
Thank you guys :)
Hyper-V Environment, Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard on all three Hosts (Gen 2),
Followed mainly the MS TLG for SCCM2012 for this, supported by windows-noob.
Have a nice day.
Little Edit right here: renaming the file only helps with the 89 error thing, but it doesn't help booting the sccm image.

Hi Walter:
how r u?
Basically the issue is related when u apply patch 6640838 to upgrade OUI. If u don't do the following, u get into the error u described in ur post:
1. Before u install patch #6640838 , u need to be sure to rename the OPatch directory under $ORACLE_HOME. Once u do that, u can proceed with the application of patch 6640838.
2. Then after applying it u can download patch 6880880, in order to have the latest OPatch version (1.0.0.0.63). In this step, u just need to unzip it, and u will have a new OPatch directory under $ORACLE_HOME
3. After that, u can go and do an "opatch apply" for patches 8533397 and 8644645.
And that's it, u will get rid of that messy problem.
I ran into the same issue, but just realized the step that was causing all the problem.
Hope this helps.
