Your Name W/ Your Birthday Leads to Identity Theft...

I don't like the idea of everyone seeing my birthday. I have read accounts of someone's identity being stolen once they find out your birthday. Will SKYPE be making this an optional feature like FACEBOOK does or not? If not, I won't continue with my new phone number service.

I am sorry this happened to you. We found out today that the Galaxy phone my wife purchased for me and put 300.00 cash downpayment on was stolen by an employee. Of course calling does not do a thing. All they do is say sorry and hang up. I will find a way to get that money and then leave this company. It just stinks that they take the word of an employee (who by the way was not there two weeks later) and we spoke to the manager who said he would take care of it but did not. We are out 300.00 and screwed I guess. WE WILL BE LEAVING THIS COMPANY.
I know they don't care but it made me feel good to type in caps. I really do not care who is my carrier anymore, they cannot be as bad as this one,

At Oracle world in October Oracle stated that MSA would be upgraded using their Fusion Technology. No dates have been confirmed but it has been rumored to be upgraded in R19.
I dont think there are any screenshots that i have seen floating around but if your conserned with the application speak to your oracle rep and see if they can get you some additional information on Fusion.

Since Christmas we have had a total of 6 ipods that all died after we plugged them into the USB port. We have replaced them 3 times.

If you use a rules-based firewall, do you have a rule permitting Firefox to talk to its security component via TCP through the localhost address? You need to have that to use secure pages with Mozilla browsers.
McAfee can cause problems with Mozilla browsers. It has a history of doing that.

My immediate reaction is to deny.
Have you downloaded or installed any application that may relate to the abbreviation AOS? It may not necessarily be the application's name, could be the developer or distributor.
As it's occuring at log-in, go to System Preferences > Accounts > your account > Login Items and look for a related item. If there's one there, right-click (or ctrl click) on it and select Reveal in Finder. That will show you where the originator of the item is on your system and should give you more of a clue as to what it is.
I'd remove the item from login items anyway (highlight and click the minus sign at the bottom of the window). There shouldn't be anything trying to use your keychain info to notify anyone.

Unable to change "Your name" in BIS

I have my Gmail account set up in BIS and everything is working perfectly, however, I am unable to change the "Your name:" field to anything other than what's already there. I've tried deleting the account and re-adding it in there from the web site as well as from my BB to no avail. When I change the field, I don't get an error and I receive a message saying "Email account successfully updated." but it doesn't stay. For some reason, just my last name is in there (i.e. Smith) but I would like to change the "Your name:" field to my full name: John Smith.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? TIA!

What did your mobile operator have to say about it? This seems to be a problem specific to them. They can disable most of the fields your BIS account.

How to reset your Apple ID security questions
Go to appleid.apple.com and click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.

Enter your name and password for the server when trying to connect PC and Mac?

I'm trying to connect my iMac and my WIndows tablet (got it for free) together through my home network. I open iPhoto, then "Import to Library" ; the connection fails and when I click on "Connect as" up pops this box asking me to "enter your name and password for the server -computer name here-". HELP!! Where do I find the password? I've tried everything possible and no go.
I am running Windows 8 and Lion.

iTunes is your answer. YES! iTunes... edit your info on your account in iTunes and it should work.

How to remove "Enter your name and password for the server"

Hi there,
I have a Mac Book Pro from 2008. I have mountain lion running on it.
We used to have a server (pc) in the office that I connected to and stored all of my photos and videos etc.
We have jsut upgraded to a new server and this connects great!
However, ever since the switch, when i open keynote, imovie or iphoto i get the error message:
"Enter your name and password for the server "192.168.0.10".
(it is trying to connect to the old server)
I have tried a bunch of fixes online but i dont think they are relevant for this issue - or i cant find what they want tme to change or remove.
Any help would be great! having this pop up while trying to create things slows everything down.

I keep getting a pop-up from Safari (even when it's in the background) that says:
+*Enter your name and password to update the RSS feed*+
How on earth do I disable this? It is asking for a username and password for Twitter so I must have clicked an RSS feed link there, but after searching like mad, I can't figure out where Safari looks for RSS at on my system.

This started occurring immediately after updating to safari 4.
I tried disabling the automatic RSS updates in safari preferences, set it to "never" as suggested, but the annoying window keeps on popping up.

I only wish that when I called Apple, they would match the serial number with the owner and give me the contact
Hopefully you left Apple your contact info (name phone #, email address).
Apple would simply pass your contact to the last registered owner. It would be up to the owner to contact you. As Dave mentioned, Apple will not give you any info (except may to tell you it was or was not registered, but not to who). Turn it on once in a while and maybe they have activated FindMyiPad and a message will pop up (don't need to be logged onto the iPad to a message).

Well, if you click on "Forum Settings" in the top right hand corner and set 'Name visible to others = Yes' then magically we'll be able to see each others names rather than referring to Poster 1278 which is altogether much more humane ;-)

Never tried but you can try with this
*%f - Specifies the absolute file number*.
I just checked, it works. It wll give you file number not file name though.
and also with
*%N - You can have tablespace name with it*. This would be little more helpful.
You can combine both to get the file number and tablespace name together. I got the output like this.
FULL_DB_2::UNDOTBS1.RMAN
This means file *2* of undo tablespace. I used this format string format 'E:\Full_DB_%f::%N.rman'
