Hi I am getting this message at apple.com store when checking my ATT upgrade availablity.
I for sure have an upgrade on the line i am checking in fact it is out of contract.
All my other lines cheking are fine even at best buy .com upgrade is OK.
But for many days at apple all I get is this message Your request couldn’t be processed. We’re sorry, but there was an error processing your request. Please try again later
again all my other lines are fine i tried checling with apple app sticll same error mesage
ATT is no help the person at APPLE so far no help
Running out of time want to order iphone 6 at 2 am central friday.
Has any doing a att upgrade check received this message ???

It sounds a lot like your phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it before you updated.

I have called the store with the same problem but the answer is this must be done on line. I was told to use a different browser but it has made no difference - I am still having the same problem

I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!

Since upgrading to the latest version of Firefox, I'm now getting the message "A problem has occurred trying to process your request. Please try again later. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused." when I try to log onto my internet banking site. This occurs after going thru the first two steps of the login process. I don't get this problem when I login to all my other bookmarked sites, or when I use Internet Explorer. I'm using Windows XP. Any suggestions? (Note: I've just reloaded version 6 of Firefox, but it's not made any difference.)

Let's see if anyone has any ideas here. When I went to create an account on iTunes, I can get all the way to the credit card screen and then when we click "done" and pop up window comes up and says "your request is temporarily unable to be processed. Please try again later". This message comes up last 2 days.

I have a user with a new iPad2, who has set up an iTunes account. It takes her username and password, which it recognizes (it fails if she fat-fingers it). Then it says that it is a new account, and offers her the terms and conditions which she agrees to, and then it takes her to the screen asking for her personal info and credit card info, which she fills in. Then it pops up a message from the iTunes Store that says "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed. Please try again later."
She has tried this multiple times over the past week, same error each time. This morning, just to vary things a bit, we tried logging in to her account in iTunes on her iMac. (If nothing else, a real keyboard and mouse is less painful...) Exactly the same behavior -- it clearly knows who she is, bringing up address information, etc. when she puts in the right username and password. But it will not complete the signup with the iTunes store, so she cannot get applications (even free ones) downloaded on to the iPad.
If I sign in with my appleID and password (set up years ago, and with iTunes gift card credit on it) it simply takes it and works -- but not on her credentials.Found this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3603097?start=0&tstart=0 which was really helpful. The problem is that we were trying to change this person's credit card associated with the AppleID from her personal card to her company credit card. Going to http://store.apple.com/us/account/home and trying to Edit the credit card information at least got us to a more useful error message -- it complained about the credit card billing address.
So we went to Plan B, and created a new appleID for her, following these instructions http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534 to get her an appleID without a credit card. It then happily completed the registration process, and now she can download free apps.
When she needs to buy an app, I'll probably be back. (Sheesh, apple, this should NOT be this hard to give you money!!!) -
i need help, i can't download free applications in App store. they answer me "your request cannot be processed Error code:1009".
and after they said "we could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later (null)".

Today is April 10, 2013. I try to login to iTunes connect and I keep getting the message "An error has occurred processing your request. Please try again later or send an email for assistance." It never tells us what email address we need to write to.
The problem was solved by Apple Technical Help. The process is as flollows:
1. Open Safari
2. Menu item Safari-Reset Safari - remove all website data - reset
3. Now if you try to login on iTunes connect it will work. -
message "there was an error processing your request" keeps coming up on the screen as I try to sign in to make an appointment at the genius bar?
Same thing was happening (2015). Never found out why but easiest solution is to call AppleCAre and they will set up the appointment.

Anyone else getting this error after clicking through the Choose Rate Plan? I can't get past this page at all...

Then I get an email telling me I need to go to an apple store to talk to someone in an orange shirt to complete my order. Last I checked, Alaska has no apple stores. Called AT&T, they were absolutely clueless as ever. Called Apple. The first person I spoke with wasn't aware there even was a new iPhone. Then she told me to reboot my computer. Hmm. So, I called apple again and have been on hold for an hour and a half so far.
