Why am I getting this email?
Everything is set to auto-renew.  My Skype-In number renews in September.
Previous posts suggest these messages were in error?

I got the 3 day notice too: "Just to let you know that your existing subscription will expire in 3 days. We hope you’ve enjoyed staying in touch with friends and family using your Skype subscription." On my account it says "Your subscription was cancelled. It will expire on September 6, 2015." But Skype still works and I didn't cancel anything. This is confusing and has frustrated me for a couple days now. Does anyone know whats going on?

    Skype offered free trial "World" subscriptions to some users which are "expiring". This email is a fairly deceitful attempt to get you to extend your current subscription in my opinion.

    Hi, I used to have Skype Premium 300 allowing me to call both mobiles and landlines around the world. When it expired - and that was my fault for not taking action in time - I tried to purchase the same plan but I wasn't able to find it anymore. pricing of available subscriptions were also different to what they used to be.
    Even though I ended up purchasing a lesser plan, I really need one which is equivalent to the old Premium both price and features wise. 
    1. Where can I find Premium again?
    2. Can I transfer any credit left on my current plan to the new Premium?

    Skype Premium was discontinued almost a year ago, hence there is no subscription for your account to "recognize and restart". You will need to find a new subscription from the multitude we have available that best covers your needs, and purchase that one

    If you've used up all the minutes in a subscription you will have to wait until the billing month is up until the minutes are renewed.  Subscriptions are pre-authorized recurring payments that bill 3 days in advance.  So if your current subscription billed you it does not mean you will get your minutes on that day.  Attempting to buy the same subscription will not speed up the process.  If you want to cancel a renewal or recently purchased subscription you can follow the guidance in this Skype FAQ and links in order to put in a request for a refund.

  • File usage after subscription expired or canceled

    Hello!
    I keep reading that if the subscription is expired or canceled, the files created using the suite are no longer available for use. How is that? I was under the impression that I can locally store all my files. If I transfer my files to someone with an active copy of Photoshop, they should still be able to be used correct?
    I have at least three people I actively swap created files with and don't wish to lose files I create during the subscription period if I choose to go on another direction.

    When your subscription expires or is cancelled, you lose access to the use of the Cloud apps (software).
    But any files (created by those apps) you store locally will always be fine whether you're a Cloud member or not. No different to owning a perpetual license They're yours to keep and do with what you will - but you won't be able to open or edit them with Cloud apps.
    Files stored in the Cloud are affected by the transition from 20GB storage (for members) to 2GB storage (free for non-members).
    Once you cancel your membership, you've got 90 days to reduce your online Cloud storage from 20GB to 2GB before Adobe does it for you (and then there may be some file loss)..

    What happens to my files in the cloud if I cancel my membership?
    If you cancel your paid membership you will still have access to the free level of membership, which provides 2GB of storage. You will have a 90-day grace period to delete files to get your cloud storage down to 2GB (or to purchase additional storage separately if you choose). If you leave more than 2GB of files in your cloud storage for more than 90 days, you may lose access to some or all of your files.

  • Payment refused, subscription expiring today

    Hello there, 
                      I hope someone can assist me.  I currently have unlimited india calling plan. This product was discontinued sometime ago. However i still hold the subscription as i have been holding this subscription for a long time.
                               However on friday (day before yesterday) my payment for the subscription was refused due to my debit card not valid anymore.
                              I have spoken to the skype customer service via chat on friday and they advised me to update the card details which i did , and i was told the subscription will be renewed automatically which didnt happened.
                              I again spoke to the skype customer service yesterday and they advised me the same thing again to update the card details which  i did yesterday and i was confirmed the subscription will be renewed within 24 hours, which , when i checked today, didnt happened.
                              I spoke to the skype agent today again to renew my skype subscription , but agent advised me the same thing as other agents to update the details . I told him that i have already done that twice.
                                      Then he advised me to cancel my subscription and reactivate again. But i dont want to go this way, becoz if i cancel the subscription and then not being to to reactivate i will loose the product even for today.
                                   My skype subscription still says active in the account status. However no payment has been taken yet. and my subscription expires tonight.
                         Can someone kindly let me know what can i do to retain my subscription? as i dont want to loose it
    The thing i have done till now are :
    (1) updated my payment details twice
    (2) added three source of payment (1 using credit card, another using paypal, and the third using debit card
    i was advised by the agent , that the payment system is automated. Can someone let me know when the system will try to take the payment second time. as the first time being refused first time on friday?
       OR please someone can advice me a alternate way to retain my subscription?

    According to your account you have one Subscription - the Unlimited UK/India Plan - not the Unlimited India Plan. Please clarify. PayPal couldn't process your original order due to the expired credit card. As you have now updated your card you should resubmit your order. If you cancel a Plan which is no longer available or allow it to expire you will lose it permanently.
    TIME ZONE - US EASTERN. LOCATION - PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA.
    I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

  • Windows 8.1 pre-installed , your windows license will expire soon?!?!

    I just updated my Windows today when they prompted and asked me to update it and restart the laptop. After updating and restarting, the laptop suddenly notifies me that my windows license will expire soon and I will need to activate it in the pcsettings.  
    It then brings me to a page with two choices, activate windows online or enter new product key. I tried both options but the first one won't work and the second one requires a product key which I have no idea what it is. When I look at my system information, it says that my windows 8.1 is activated.
    By the way, my windows 8 is pre-installed on the laptop. Please help, I am a complete newbie in the technology field!

    Hi,
    Try the following.
    Hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.
    Select Task Manager.
    In the bottom left select More Details ( if it's not already selected ).
    Click in the Name column header to arrange the processes in alphabetical order.
    Find the process Windows Explorer, then right click on it and select Restart.
    When the process has restarted, close Task Manager, then right click the Start Menu icon, select Command Prompt (Admin) and click ‘Yes’ to the uac prompt.
    Enter the following command and hit enter ( Note that there is a space between slmgr and -rearm )
    slmgr -rearm
    Restart the notebook.

    If all your music is in your itunes library on your computer, you will not lose that music.
    If you do not have the music on your computer and stream the music you will lose all your music except for previous itunes purchases. Likewise you will no longer have access to match music.

  • Subscription Expired - How to find renewal info?

    Yesterday was my annual renewal date for my subscription to call phones in the USA and Canada.  Skype automatically charged me and sent me an email saying they did so.
    Today I got an email saying my subscription expired.
    My account appears to be working.
    Is this email I received also related to that World account email problem other people were having in the last few days?
    What concerns me is I have 2 subscriptions, one for unlimited calling and another for a phone number.  I don't know when the phone number one reneews, but I was not charged for it yesterday.

    Its about 2 days that my creative cloud with this problem
    whenn i try to open indesign, photoshop and ilustrator
    im getting the pop window of "renew your subscription" i press the button try again
    and he pop your subscription to creative cloud is now active ( my subscription is till december)
    when i press to continue im getting back to the "renew your subscription" and this loop is like forever and ever.
    I need to work and i cant!!!!
    ive talk to adobe support today and still noting fix

    I am experiencing the exact same issue. It first started yesterday morning, nothing about my internet access or security settings have changed.
    Every time I go to open any Adobe program, I get a pop up box to "Renew your subscription", saying that I am signed in to the correct account. I click Try Again, get "Thank you. Your subscription to Creative Cloud is now active. Click Continue to use your product." I click Continue, pop up box closes, then a new pop up box opens 2 seconds later with "Renew your subscription". The same cycle occurs if I click "Have a different Adobe ID?" and enter my password to sign in. I am unable to use any Adobe product.
    Mac OSX 10.8.5
    Subscription active.
    Do not see any option to "License this Software"
    No Adobe entries in my hosts file.
    I am able to access https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/ successfully.

  • "validating license, renew your subscription, subscription now active" endless loop

    this morning my creative cloud started having this problem. I launch an app, a modal screen tells me it have to validate my license, it gives me the renew your subscription screen, I hit try again, it comes back with subscription now active screen, I click continue and it starts the loop again....I just spent 45 minute with chat help, which was worthless...  Anyone else have this issue?

    Same thing here- it started yesterday, mid-day. I couldn't start any of my Adobe CC apps on my PC or on my Mac! I spent 2 hours on a chat session with Adobe today- constantly transferred from customer service to technical to billing, in a loop. Nobody could help. They act like they've never heard of this issue before even though a google search shows that plenty of people are having it! I never changed anything- I was just trying to use the software like I always do. All of a sudden it just wouldn't let me past the "renew your subscription" message.
    My account is paid in full. I pay by credit card every month. They just billed me on 9/18. I've signed in and out of Adobe Creative Cloud probably 25 or 30 times. I've updated my payment method twice, just to see if anything would help. My account status showed account was paid up and that my plan was supposed to go until May of 2015.
    After 2 hours of being passed around to various adobe people via their support chat, with no resolution, I gave up. One of their not-helpful employees actually suggested that I should "just ignore the renewal message." How can I "ignore" it when it won't let me start the software???
    I had to cancel my creative cloud service. Now I have to figure out what software to use in place of Adobe's applications. Anybody got any suggestions for a good open-source or cheap alternative to Illustrator and In Design?

    Does the error message indicate an error code like I-200? If yes, please refer to the following article on dealing with this issue - http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/kb/unexpected-error-occurred-i-200.html.
    Or if you have recently renewed the subscription, I would suggest allowing it some time (24 hours approx.) for the order status to update at the backend and it should successfully re-activate.

  • Renew Your Subscription Message - How do I Remove

    Please Help - I have been searching online and I have not found a solution yet. I was previously a subscriber to Adobe Cloud and I found it to be not worth the money for my use. I only use Acrobat and I would rather pay for the Software outright than use the running cash cow. So, I let the subscription expire and I removed all the Software, I thought, from my computer that was associated with Cloud and this was suppose to remove the software. After several attempts still no luck.
    I downloaded the Adobe Acrobat XI Trial Version to sue while I order the Software and it will not let me use it because it is forcing me to renew a subscription I don't want.
