Hi
We forgot to have enough credit in our Paypal account to pay for the unlimited world.
Now we get email from skype saying its all cancelled.
Can I work out how to resolve this? No!!!
Our Paypal account now has enough credit.
If I try getting a new subscription its a higher price, all i want is to renew the payment.
Any idea what to do. I try to set up a new recurring payment using paypal but it sets an amount for 1 euro then gave an internal error!!!
Please can Skype resolve this before I walk away.

IMHO best practice is to pay for Skype services using Skype credit. When/if possible.
There are a few good reasons for this. When/if this happened and this method was being used, once Skype credit was placed into your account, you would have had the choice to re-enable the same subscription.
That's not the case when using other payment methods because Skype can't sense that for example there now are funds in your PayPal account, but it can sense that you now have Skype credit and currently when it does sense this, on your account page you will be offered an option to re-enable the cancelled subscription.
NOTE: Sometimes this can take 24-48 hours before this option appears once there is now enough Skype credit to pay for the cancelled subscription. I have had this happen 3 times in the last year, with different types of older unlimited subscriptions and am glad it works the way it does.
Additionally, when using Skype credit as your source of funding for any Skype services, when cards expire or if you want to change cards or payment services all of those things now are transparent to the Skype billing process. Currently, as an example the simple expiration of a card causes a subscription to be cancelled when the billing process tries the old card and fails, it is impossible to use the new card and keep the old subscription price.
Example, if you had a subscription tied to a card and the card expires, you would be in the same boat as you are now.
Also, I don't use auto-recharge, I fund my Skype credit manually, but, I have forgotten to do so in the past, and always end up able to re-enable any subscription at the old price once Skype senses that there is enough Skype credit to do so.
I know that does not help now, but it might help to keep older prices in the future.

Unfortunately, I could not work around this and MS said it was by design. I even tried some clever stuff with symbolic link s but to no avail. I simply ended up informing my users to ignore the message and continue. i don't want anyone to be able to browse
the C: drive so I'm leaving the NoViewOnDrives registry key in place. However, there is one possible workaround but for me , it didn't suit:
Change the temp location of the folder Outlook uses for attachments

I called customer service and they had no idea. They said the relevant team will do "an investigation" and call me back when it's complete, but who knows how long that will take. I'm getting ready to go to China to give my cousin the laptop and I got the gift cards just for this purchase. Hello. Every time I place an order on bestbuy.com, my order is immediately canceled. In fact, I get the cancellation email before I get the order confirmation email.
The subject of the cancellation email is: "Your order has been canceled"
The body of the email starts out like this: "We're sorry, but an item on your order placed on October 31, 2014 has been canceled because we were unable to verify your information..."
This issue started last winter, and I haven't been able to place an order online since.
Please help!

Without knowing exactly why your BestBuy.com order was cancelled, you may not know what corrections to make before you try to place a second order. The most common reason an order will be cancelled is that the billing information entered does not match what is on file. For example, if your credit card has a middle initial on it and you do not include it when you enter your credit card on BestBuy.com, then that may cause the order to be cancelled.
With that being said, I would like to go over your BestBuy.com order with you to see if we can determine exactly why it was cancelled so that next time you place an order you receive the confirmation email and not a cancellation. This is one of those sets of issues which can be resolved only by contacting Skype Customer Service directly to enquire why the change was effected. We here in the Community do not have access to Skype account or Skype Manager account details. As a proactive measure, I would change all Skype account and payment method account passwords immediately if this has not already been done.

After installing Firefox then closing it, I cannot open it, PC says it has been cancelled due to restrictions on my computer

I have run Firefox for over a year now. However I ended up with various pop-ups recently though they were easy enough to remove and didn't effect Firefox in any obvious way. In the past few days every time I have attempted to open Firefox, even right-clicking on the .exe file a warning pops-up saying "the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact your system administrator".
I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it worked fine, only to return to that warning message after I closed and re-opened it. This has also effected Google Chrome in the exact same way even though I never owned Chrome until all this business began. Internet Explorer, which I'm on now has suffered no problems.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Hi mcclausky, you may need to manually remove a policy setting from the registry. You also should scan for malware that might have created this problem.

Strange IMAQ Error Message: "ni: A frame has been dropped and the acquisition has been canceled."

I am getting a strange error trying to use the NI PCIe-1427 with the MATLAB image acquisition toolbox configured with continuous acquisition. After about 5 minutes of acquisition, I get the error below:
??? ni: A frame has been dropped and the acquisition has been canceled.
Does anyone have any clues as to why I am getting this error / where I can find out what causes it? I need to acquire several hours worth of data and this error completely aborts my acquisition.

Turns out that I found the problem. I had a slow memory allocation in my MATLAB code and this delay allowed too many frames to be accumulated in memory. I still do not know the source of the exact text of the error, but upon removing the slow memory allocation the error no longer occurs. I believe that it may have resulted from a buffer overrun of some sort in the underlying driver.
Given that this no longer poses a problem for me, I will not pursue it further.
