'Your Watches' Not Working

The 'Your Watches' feature is currently not working. It seems to break every day that I use OTN. Could this be fixed please? Please don't suggest this is due to 'transient network conditions', etc. - it's a problem with OTN.

Your movies not working

I got a new Lumia 625 , and when ever i play the your movies aap , the aap gets stuck in the help page ... What should i do ?

When you say you open the aap, do you mean the Music+Video app built in by Microsoft ? If so does your music work ok anmd where do you store your media ? Do you use a micro sd card or phone memory, what type and size of video are you trying to watch ? Try recording a short video on the 625 itself and see if it plays, this will establish whether the app itself is working ok. If it is you may be trying to play an unsupported video format, or a file too large for the phone to process, there is no point tryimng to play a 2gig 1080p video on the 625. Try MP4.

Smart watch not working

i got a u8 u watch (smarth watch)
i cant use jailbreak beacuse it is upto date
and i cant find a app in the store
am i missing it or is their a app somewhere ?
i need to sync them together, i have pared them with bluetooth and i can take calls and music but thats it.

I just started using an iPhone 5 recently (about 2 weeks into it) and updated to the latest iOS 8.2 which fixed a number of issues with 8.1.3 and previous versions. I also suspect it cleaned up some things for the iWatch which is now available:-). I then purchased a UWatch U Terra. I am really excited about using this with my iPhone and Hopefully this is similar enough to other UWatches like the U8 UWatch for everyone to get some benefit from my comments. iWatch is cool...really cool especially the $17,000 version with the rose gold and sapphire crystal (drool), but not everyone has $17,000 or even $400 to shell out. The UWatch has quite a few essential features that are a great low-cost compromise for cheap geeks like myself. My experience so far (just got the UWatch today):
* Out of the box, the UWatch will control the phone's call and answer functions, allows sync with the phone book contacts, allows music to be played once the player is enabled on the phone...that's about it.
* After some examination of various help information on the Apple website and various forums, I figured out that if I enable SMS messaging on the iPhone under settings-Messages-"Send as SMS", then I do get notification that a message has been received by the phone...one little thing done!
* After another couple hours of persistent searching through the internet, I ran across an obscure message from a chat forum and on the www.gearbest.com website that sells similar UWatches: go to the App Store and download/install "Mediatek Device". This application looks as if it just enables workout tracking data to and from the watch and iPhone, but it ALSO enables SMS messages to appear on the phone so they can be read. There seems to be some functional issues with the message app on the phone retaining these, but at least they are notified and can be read without having to get out the phone! Unfortunately SMS does not allow images, but maybe future upgrades will improve the capabilities.
* The Mediatek Device App also enables the control of the iPhone camera once the camera is turned on at the iPhone. Shutter control only as far as I can tell, but that's all I really need.
I also played around with the App other people have mentioned called "UWatch" at the App Store. This App has a really good interface, but seems non-functional with my setup...and apparently with most of the other users who have tried it. I hope that the developer can make a few upgrades and really enhance the UWatch experience for everyone.

HT2493 Change your icons not working

I've been trying to change a folder icon to a .jpeg image, but having followed the instructions in HT2493 I am at a loss to get this procedure to work for me. At best, the blue folder icon is replaced by the mac .jpeg image icon and not the actual image file I want to use. The instructions seemed very straightforward and I believe I followed them correctly. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Worse, I know I've done this at least once before because I have a "my stuff" folder on my desktop which has a special photo icon. Thanks for reading, and, any and all suggestions welcomed...

Got it! Thanks to Barney-15E who responded to another user with the same question. I found his reply in the archived discussion from 2009. What I was missing was opening the image in preview, then selecting the entire image and copying it to the clipboard. Then when I went to the get info panel and hilighted the folder icon I could replace it with the image file.

Mark ask Watched not working

Since the Airplay update yesterday my Apple TV Gen 2 no longer marks shows as watched. In fact, if I manually mark as watched within a few minutes they are all shown as unwatched again.
Yes, I've rebooted the Apple TV and my Mac.
This is highly annoying!

Weird. I had that problem before and it's been fixed since the update.
Have you tried restoring the ATV?

Comparable email addresses from your contacts not working

When I begin to type an email address for most of my contacts, it will bring up addresses, but when I start with the letter "N" nothing shows up?
I have three contacts that start with N, in their a first name and email address.
Any thoughts?

It's a bit of a workaround, but since it lets you add the comma to all the addresses at once, it shuold help you out baout 95%.

If statement within a view is not working correctly ?

maybe i am wrong but i think the if statement within a view is not working correctly. See code down below.
I would like to use the Hallo World depending on the page attribute isFrame with or without all the neccessary html tags. Therefore i have embedded the htmlb tags in an if statement. But for any reason if isframe is initial it isn't working. It would be great if anybody could help me.

The short answer: your example is <b>NOT</b> going to work. The long answer will probably 5 pages to describe. So first let me rewrite the example so that it could work, and then give a short version of the long answer. Do not be disappointed if it is not totally clear. It is rather complicated. (See the nice form of IF statements that are possible since 620.)

You can see that your ENDIF statements are closing IF blocks generated by the BSP compiler. Such a nesting will not work. This is a very short form of the problem, there are a number of variations, and different types of the same problem.
The only way to solve this problem, is probably to put the body into a page fragment and include it like I did above with the duplicate HelloWorld strings. But this duplicates source code. Better is to put body onto a view, that can be processed as required.

Mouse not working when reinstalling OS X with install disk

I am trying to reinstall OS X 10.3 on iMAC G5 after a hard drive crash with the help of the original install disks, but my wireless mouse does not work anymore. Any ideas how I can solve this or go through the installation process with the keyboard alone? I couldn't find a keyboard shortcut to tab from a list in a window to the select button...

All my app's apart from those already on the phone when i got it do not work.

Cant seem to get any apps to stay open for a second since there update. Any idea's on what to do. I dont want to do a software reset as last time i did that even though i backed everything up it was corrupted when it came to putting all the info back on the phone. Needless say 100 of items lost

FWIW, your experience is not normal at all. Most, including me, never have problems with their backups.
To resolve your apps not working issue, all you need to do is download any free app to resync your iTunes account. Restoring is not needed... a restore (especially as a new device) may work but i'ts way overkill.
Regarding pics, you should be routinely copying/moving them off your iPhone more than every 6 months... it's not a backup device, just like a camera is not a backup device.
You should also be syncing and backing up routinely, i.e. once/week or so, depending on use. If you have problems with that, post specific questions and maybe someone can help.
