Your wireless provider does not have a roaming agreement in this area?

everytime i try to make a call i get a message "your wireless provider does not have a roaming agreement in the area. message 6". i work out of chariton,ia my coworkers have verizon and have no problem. also data doesnt work anymore.

    Hi samoanmutt!
Thanks for the additional information! Upon further review of the area, I show zip code 50049 listed as a "Extended Digital Coverage" area:http://vz.to/1mRpOe3. Unfortunately, that means no VZW towers are present in the area.
Thanks

  • Internet Connection - Your Apple wireless device does not have a valid IP.

I just bought an Apple TimeCapsule and set it up normally, following instructions to my Arris cable network on the Videotron provider here in Quebec, Canada. The TimeCapsule did appear as a wireless device on my MacBook Pro (after updating the AirPort software from the provided CD - as was instructed). I went through the whole installation process to obtain at the end this error:
Internet Connection - Your Apple wireless device does not have a valid IP.
The only provided instructions were to check the cable and then contact your Internet provider. Well it seems clear to me that if I contact my provider and say that the internet connection works fine directly on my computer, also fine through my "normal" wireless router but not with my new TimeCapsule, I won't get much of a response.
After a lot of research, a friend indicated the solution in my case.
You have to really reset the cable modem to convince it to start giving out IPs again.
    To do this:
    1. Unplug your TimeCapsule (possibly you might have to reset to factory defaults - see the documentation)
    2. Unplug your cable modem
    3. Reset your cable modem by pressing the reset button with a pen (or something) for several seconds.
    4. Plug your cable modem back in and let it reboot/restart - until the lights are back on.
    5. Plug in your TimeCapsule
Everything should now work and you can restart your AirPort set-up on your Mac.
    Good luck!

My ISP is AOL.  The service is DSL via a broadband modem.  Somewhere during the setup process there appears to be a communicatiosn issue between the Airport Extreme Base Station and the DSL modem.  When I hook the DSL modem directly to my iMac I can connect to the internet without any issues.
I tried the factory reset and the DSL modem reboot process described in other posts and seemed very close to success...until the internet setup step.  That is where this issue first presented itself.

All ISP-provided equipment is junk. You could get a decent router and connect it to the Verizon router in bridge mode. It should cost about $ 30.

  • What to do if your printer manufacturer does not have SL drivers.

If your printer manufacturer does not have drivers for your printer under SL, there are several possible solutions, only the first of which is well-known.
    1. Apple has probably included a Gutenprint driver for your printer, which will install without any problems.
    2. hpijs is a collection of open-source drivers made by HP but applicable to many other makes of printer. Google for it and follow the instructions.
The problem with these two solutions is that the drivers may not give full access to your printer. For instance, the Gutenprint driver does not allow duplex printing on my machine.
    3. An unofficial unsupported solution has been given in the HP FAQ thread and will probably work for other makes to restore full functionality.
Roughly speaking, download and use the drivers from your Leopard install disk and run the program you want to print from in 32-bit mode. For full details of how to install the drivers look at the post in the HP FAQ thread

As I said, the HP FAQ thread. A long one, five pages or so, with a suggestion made around page 3. I didn't give full details myself because that felt like stealing from the guy who gave it.
It's the program you want to print from that needs to be in 32-bit mode, which is done from the Get Info window.
The problem with drivers that used to work is that they are 32-bit and won't work directly on a 64-bit program.
If you have the old drivers installed (they may need reinstallation and re-recognition of the printer) I think the solution is to open a printer dialog from the program you are using and do not print but save as PDF. Set Preview or Acrobat Reader to run in 32-bit mode permanently and print the PDF from there.
I haven't had time to try this fully, but it does give the full printer dialog box rather than the restricted Gutenprint one.

  • "Your computer does not have the hardware to run this software"

When I try to install Final Cut Studio, I receive the error "your computer does not have the hardware to run this software." I just purchased a brand new 13in macbook pro with 4gb of ram about 2 weeks ago. This computer is more then capable of running this software so what's the problem? How do I fix it? I just recently boot camped windows 7 on this thing just in case that matters somehow. Feedback? Comments? appreciate it...

final cut studio 5 I believe
There is no Final Cut Studio 5 (yet). The current version is Final Cut Studio 3, which includes Final Cut Pro 7. Final Cut Pro 5 is NOT compatible with IntelMacs. Version 5.1 was the first version to be compatible with IntelMacs.

  • The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship

When I try to log on to my DC it says "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship". It won't let me log on. I installed another server server 2012r2  (its virtual )
and I can get to ADSI edit.
I think what happened was I had a pc that could not connect without unplugging the network cable. So I found this fix
FIX: “The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship”2032011
I’ve seen a lot of solutions, or suggestions rather, with regard to the error in the title of this post.  In my experience, the problem can almost always be resolved without extra domain add/removes and reboots, which is the most prevalent solution I have
seen around.  Usually, this issue is due to a mismatch between attributes of the computer account in Active Directory and those values on the system itself.  Here are the steps I take to fix this issue when it crops up:
Open up Active Directory Users & Computers pointed to the domain the computer account resides in
From the “View” pull-down menu, make sure that “Advanced Features” is checked
Navigate to the part of your organizational unit (OU) structure where the computer account for this server resides
Open the Properties for the computer object
Choose the “Attribute Editor” tab on the Properties dialog box
Check the Attributes dNSHostName & servicePrincipalName – anywhere that a fully qualified hostname is specified (e.g. myserver.mydomainname.com), make sure that the entry matches the hostname
you have configured when you go here on your server: Start -> Computer -> Right-Click, Properties -> Change Settings (under “Computer name, domain… settings”) -> Full Computer Name
As an example, for a fictitious W2K8 R2 server whose Full Computer Name is “srv1.mydomainname.com”, these attribute/value pairs should be in Active Directory:
    dNSHostName:
    srv1.mydomainname.com
    servicePrincipalName:
    HOST/SRV1
    HOST/srv1.mydomainname.com
    RestrictedKrbHost/SRV1
    RestrictedKrbHost/srv1.mydomainname.com
    TERMSRV/SRV1
    TERMSRV/srv1.mydomainname.com"
Not reading it carefully I add a computer with the same name as the pc having the issue and followed the above. The problem is that I did not notice that the spn did not want the name of my server (serv1) but the name of the trouble
    pc.

  • Client does not have permission to send as this sender

We have a CRM web application hosted on a server. When a user launches the site, the site provides facility to the customer to send the query into the system using the email. The website provides the filed for the customer to enter customer’s email ID. The
customer email address is used by the system to send the response back.
We are doing a new implementation for SMTP authentication for the emails send into the contact center using a public website. The flow of the system to use the SMTP authentication is:
    Customer launches the website.
Customer chooses to send the his/her query using the email from the website.
Website asks for the customer’s address, so that the query can be
answered back to the provided email address say [email protected] .
We have an account configured on the MS-Exchange 2010 say [email protected]
So before sending the email the website system performs the SMTP Authentication using the credentials of [email protected]
Now the system creates the email MIME using the email address provided by the customer on the website i.e. say [email protected].
After successful SMTP authentication for the address   [email protected] system starts sending the email.
Here we are facing the issue:
While sending the email if the customer’s address is also configured on the same exchange used by the system i.e. exchange on [email protected] is configured
then website system is able to relay or send the email.
If the customer’s address is not configured on the same exchange used by the system where [email protected] is configured then the system is not able to send the email it results into the error of: “Client
does not have permission to send as this sender [email protected].
In short if the website performs the  SMTP authentication then it requires the FROM address configured on the same exchange used for the smtp authentication in the email MIME from address.
    Configuration tries:
As suggested on various forums and at Microsoft tech group we tried following things but no success:
Checked the checkbox “Authenticated Users”  selected “Accept any Sender”.
Created a new relay and given the IP of the machine hosting the website or trying to send the email
Run the command from the EMC “Exchange management console”
Add-AdPermission -Identity "Default Receive Connector" -User "NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users" -ExtendedRights ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Sender.

You can create a new connector to which everything is permitted - eg New-ReceiveConnector -Name "Anonymous Relay" -Usage Custom -PermissionGroups AnonymousUsers -Bindings 10.2.3.4:25 -RemoteIpRanges 192.168.5.77

  • 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender - NLB

Hi there- we have an application which sends out email notifications to a third party vendor. The vendor was previously using Exchange Server 2010 and they have recently migrated to Exchange Server 2013. They have also implemented NLB and have two Client
    Access Servers configured.
Our application has been spitting out "SMTP 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender" errors ever since the vendor has implemented NLB. As our application uses the IP address of the Exchange Server, we have tried specifying
the IP address of both the Client Access Servers but that did not help. We then tried specifying the IP address of the NLB which did not make any difference either. The vendor has confirmed that anonymous relay has been enabled on the receive connectors of
both the Client Access Servers. I must add that our application sits on the vendor's server and the application and exchange servers are in the same domain. The "Send From" email address is an existing mailbox configured by the vendor.
Telnet from the App server to the NLB on port 25 has gone through without any dramas.
Is there anything else we would need to check to get this working?
    Cheers

    Hi
Ensure that an dedicated relay connector is created in new exchaneg 2013 server
assign the correct subnets and the ip address of the app server into the relay connector
Run the below command to grant anonymous permission on the relay connector
    Get-ReceiveConnector "Anonymous Relay" | Add-ADPermission -User "NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON" -ExtendedRights "Ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Recipient"
Specify the ip address of the mailbox server in your app server since the transport core services resides on mailbox server and cas server acts as stateless proxy

  • "Your airport device does not have a valid IP address"

    Hello,
Hoping someone can be kind enough to help here, please let me know if I haven't provided enough details or in the wrong format as I'm not hugely technical.
I have recently bought an Airport Express to connect to my existing Wi-Fi network. I have a Netgear DG834G v4 router-modem-base-station-thing and there are two computers running Windows 7 that connect to this.
I set up the connection via the Airport Utility and updated the firmware to 7.5.2 and everything worked beautifully for the first ten days or so. All the Airport Express was doing was linking my stereo to itunes and playing music.
One morning though the orange light was flashing on the Airport Express and when I opened up the Airport Utility I got the message in the title. I have tried re-setting via the Airport Utility and pressing the button on the unit itself, but all to no avail, the same error comes up when I have re-set the equipment from the default. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get things running smoothly again please?
Lastly, as far as I am aware I can't use the airport express as a bridge for my Netgear router (as this only works for extending the range of an apple product) but please let me know if I'm wrong!
    Many thanks in advance!

An update for anyone who may have similar problems as this is now resolved for me. Largely by accident I found out the problem was actually with my main router as opposed to the Airport Express unit.
Can't explain why but unplugging the Netgear router from the power supply in the wall for five minutes or so (to do the vacuuming in this case!) and then plugging it back in and powering back up (this took some time (15 minutes or so) appeared to allow the router to sort what needed which IP address.
This happened about 2-3 weeks ago and everything has been running fine since. Please note that I did try and "soft" re-set the router by telling it to re-set via the settings you can alter using a web browser but this had no effect at the time.

    Hi,
    I have 611.3 MB free.
If you only have 611.3 MB free disk space that is NOT good. I wonder if you meant to type GB?
    If not..
Go here for help to Free Up Space on Your Startup Disk
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. *Make sure you always have a minimum of 10% to 15% free disk space at all times.*
