Youtube 3D defaults to side-by-side. Is red-cyan possible?

Hi all,
Youtube has 3d content these days (possibly since ATV2 was designed).
I would like to watch this in red/cyan as I have a pair of red/cyan galsses (you have the option of a few modes of viewing when watching through your computer).
However, the only mode available on ATV seems to be side-by-side, which is useless (even by the standards of red/cyan 3d).
I assume this is a feature not currently supported by Apple.
Any thoughts on any way of accessing this content properly via apple tv?

No. You are limited to the choices within the Lightroom Book module.

I don't have the problem, but some users have reported a conflict while using Firefox. I know you've tried a variety of browsers, but an updated Safari might offer success. If not, the most frequent issue relates to buffering problems. Your success may vary with your connection speed.
It bothered me when you wrote that you can't open other websites with your browser, either. Or is your problem isolated to Youtube?
In either case, I'd be most obliged if you could post here with your results.

Who/Why did recent updates embed default double-side printing all PDFs

Until the recent updates, I have had no difficulty saving and printing online/saved pdf documents. Today, my printer (set up for single page printing) was comandered by
Adobe PDF and went into double sided printing when when recent and past pdf documents were printed and checked.
THIS IS AN "UNACCEPTABLE" UNANNOUNCED IMPROVEMENT (?).    I was not provided with any list of "options" to include/add/choose regarding default printer behaviour embedded in PDF saved/read/new documents. This used up printer time and ink with loading, notices to reverse and/or note to add more paper. I now have to double check and clear the checked box for double sided, and clear PDF default. When the same supposedly defaut free document is closed then reopened, the default free status has reverted to "double sided"
It should be that this eco-friendly politically correct option should be a printing option that one should check to obtain when appropriate and wanted. I should not be this stupid unannounced, poorly thought-out, aspberger-teckie enforced assumption of proper consumer conduct and needs.

Since 11:55 a.m. Jan 11, after receiving Dov Isaacs' response e-mail notifaciton until this moment, I have attempted to e-mail multiple my thanks response. This was my attempted response: (which I now had to retype, since copy and paste don't work on this reply message):
Thanks for your immediate response. I wentthrough a recent document, changed setting to one sided in both printer page and document default, then printed that document single sided and saved it (replaced previous this this saved one). then closed documents folder, reopened the PDF folder, clicked pring on this new replacement saved document. It now retained the single page setting. I went through other documents previously checked and each one now retained the single page printer setting.
They all previously had retained the double paged setting of the very first pdf that printed double sided.
I now understand that whatever is page paper sided setting of the last printed saved document, once that document is printed, the printer reads future pdfs as the same setting, until a new document with a new setting is printed. The last printed setting then is retained and applys to the rest of pdfs until changed and printed again in a new printing, etc, etc.
Thanks for your (now Dov and Dave) immediate, professional response(s) to my outrage and stupid assumptions. I stand corrected and I apologize.
Now as a note for Adobe/Website from one who spent extensive time searching for anything that allowed me to ask a question, and once found, I posted my question to somewhere that God himself only knew where or who may respond.
One simple easy-to-fix glitch question from a consumer frustrated by naive endless website rovings to post the question, to me, incites outrage. I refuse to throw my computer out a 10 storey window, take an ax to my monitor and drive over it with my car and dump everything on the freeway. Until now, I was taking a deep meditative breath and sputtering FY all.
Compound that with the following seemingly avoidance behaviours and the sputterings become paramount. Suddenly I am listed in Membership Areas (as an expert--someones got to be kidding). My reply/reply to all resulted in the following return message: "jive-2063828440-vep3-2-2g;[email protected] email address as reply or as entered in new message was rejected by receivers servers and was returned as rejected--This is the mail system at host mail.sgaur hosted jivesoftware.com.   (In addition pointing to bottom of each message stating to email or at Adobe Forums and http link to page and Printing and Progress got me nowhere throughout Jan 11 to 6:45 am Jan 12). All areas resulted in message the services were unavailable, until the final message message Adobe is updating webpage.   Adobe contact us resulted in typical tips menues that avoided nonsense consumer e-mail direct contact to anyone, except telephone contact.
To me, one simple solution to e-mail response notification: At the first sentence of each notification e-mail state: No Reply Response to message sender address allowed (whatever posted by other e-mails I receive).
I still don't know how I finally got here in the first place, but thanks to one and all for assistance. No reply required, since I may never find this spot ever again.    K.D.

Changing the default system-side font

I'm trying to understand how to change the default font. Right now, everything in Chromium aswell as sublime text 2 is presented using a font I don't like. (Example)
I want to change (hopefuly everywhere) the default to Ubuntu Mono.
I have read both Fonts page and Font Configuration and didn't understand how to change the default, just how to install new ones, remove old and manipulate stuff like anti-aliasing (too soon, I just need a different font!)
I have also searched a couple of times, but really nothing relevant came up (though I found an interesting i3 discussion while at it)
Where \ what should I look, read, do?

Youtube has a left side [split window] open on the same video for months. I can't close it and it plays the same song over and over again when I open firefox. I've uninstalled and re-installed firefox and checked all settings with no help

those are all of the details.

I know the Firefox developers had good reasons for introducing this feature, but they failed to consider their users who are web developers.
I've installed a web server on my computer to help with web design, and I access the homepage through http://localhost
However this won't work in offline mode, and (with my dial-up connection and all) it's not practical to always dial in to my ISP just to have Firefox start in online mode, plus I don't need to be *actually/literally* online to access my local web server. And the extra clicks to File -> Work Offline are a pain.
The best option IMHO would be to provide a pain-free way to disable this setting for advanced users. Emphasis on *pain-free*.
My 2 cents, for myself and (hopefully) on behalf of the poor, forgotten web designers out there.

I purchased a seagate 5T hard drive that I would like to partition and have time machine on one side and drag and drop on the other side. Is this possible, and if so how?

I purchased a Seagate 5T external harddrive which stated it was for both Mac and PC.
I want to partition the drive so I can have a partition for time machine and a partition for drag and drop.
My Mac book pro 17inch model has parallels. I would like a partition for time machine for the mac side and a partition for the PC side as well and a third partition for just saving work files so I don't clog up my laptop. IS this possible? DrMAV

yes it is possible using 'disk utility'. format the time machine backup as Mac OS Extended( journaled). The windows partition can use FAT32.

R3 report in BW side. Is it possible?

I've been asked to analye if it's possible to have in bw, the result of a R3 report. I explain the context:
I was asked to make a report in BW with some hard calculations and lots of detail information. We saw that it were out of scope for bw and finally client team decided to make a Z report in R3 side. Now the report is done in R3 but as it has many possibilities of layout and R3 is very "static" when showing results, we want to take advantage of bw and show this report in bw side.
First question, is it possible? I mean, is possible to load in bw a result of a R3 report? How it would be?

Ramkumar, I've never used RRI. I've read some information about it but everything I've read is related to have a bex query as a sender and a R3 transaction or report as a receiver. I don't know if it is possible to have what I need: an R3 report as a sender and a bw query as a receiver.
Any idea?

Page linking along the side. Is it possible?

I am trying to set up an iWeb site and I need to have the page linking along one side. All the theme pages provided with iWeb seem to have the page linking along the top. Is it not possible to have it along the side?

It is indeed possible with images or text. You can create your own navigation. Here is an example of text navigation "it is across the top but, it cold be any where" you simply enable it as a hyperlink and link it to one of your pages.

Windows 8.1 Client Side Caching - Is it possible to specify the location of the offline file cache?

Is there any approved way to change the location of the offline files cache in Windows 8.1? I'm asking before moving client systems from Windows 7 where a registry change was required - is this still the way to go?
I believe that if the default user-profile directory is moved, this causes problems for updates to Windows 8/8.1 now, is the same true if you move CSC?
Just a bit of background. The systems I want to do this for have smallish SSD boot drives with a higher capacity spinning disk. The machines are members of a domain with Folder Redirection setup. I could setup group policies to disable
caching of some of the larger directories or even disable CSC entirely on the machines which have an SSD boot drive, but would prefer not to do so.

In Windows 8, Windows easy transfer is also a built in tool to migrate user profiles and user settings, but as for the offline transfer, I suggest to use the USMT for your situation.
Because with USMT you can specify the folder that you want to migrate the files to, by using an offline.xml you can set the path just as the sample listed below:

Default values for variable in a report not possible

Dear Experts,
I have desinged a query which is having a variable for Fiscal Period and that is mandatory.
Again in my key figures i have restriced a key figure with this variable and offseted it for previous year and also few more offsettings have been done to dervive month wise trend.
The problem is that
I want the report to run without the variable being popup so that it will run for current month by default and then after the report is being run, i want to give a dropdown box where user can select the value.
i tried to do it in web template initial report is runing fine but i am unable to change the values after that.
any suggestions.

Hello,
Use a Exit variable with optional settings for user entry which can return the current month. So the user will not be prompted and you have to use the I_STEP = 1 (before user input to achieve this)
In the Web report, use a drop down box and assing the InfoObject 0CALMONTH or as per your requirement
Choose the affected dataprovider in the Property window of the Drop down.

no Quicktime user should be without it, but I don't know whether you need it for this exercise, as I already had it when I started using Youtube.
In the Window menu of Safari, choose Activity.
You will see all elements of the page-
Double-click the element which is of the flash movie file (this is usually the largest one if loaded, or the one which is still loading if movie is still loading)
The flash movie will download, but you need to add .flv file extention on the end of the filename.
It will then work with Quicktime, just like any other movie.

How do I get the scroll bar back to the right side of the screen and how do I get the mouse scroll wheel to work again?

Yesterday the scroll bar on Firefox was moved from the right to the left of the screen and the webpages do not scroll when using the mouse scroll wheel.

Reset the pref <b>layout.scrollbar.side</b> to '0' or set to '2' to place the scroll bar at the default right side.

Database restore with same SID and different schema owner

Dear all,
I have quality system on HP-UX oracle platform which has been upgraded from 4.6C to ECC 5.0
and schema owner for the database is still SAPR3
I have installed new Test system with version ECC 5.0 with same SID and now i need to refresh its database with Data from QAS system ... owner at Test system is SAPC11 which is new installation ECC 5.0 and where SID is C11.
I need to know once i restore data what steps i need to carry out at Test system
i.e like change ENV settings from SAPC11 to SAPR3.
Please note SID is same on both hosts. and owner is different SAPR3 and SAPC11

target machine with schema owner as default SAPC11 (sid)
Is there any other way out ... instead of doing reinstallation with schema owner SAPR3 / instead of doing Export-Import system copy method which again is as good as reinstallation.
I would like to have your views on following ,
when i will restore database from source to taget
al tables in target machine will be having owner as SAPR3 ( which came from source ) ...but my DB owner at Target machine is SAPC11 ( as far as ENV and all profiles are concerned ) .... cant i use SAPR3 user which got restored with backup of source to target to start my instance at Target machine... may be by changing ENV settings.
