Youtube App Stopped Working
Hello. The other day, Google changed youtube so that the user's accounts would be linked with Google + user accounts.
Coincidentally, the youtube app on my iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 is not letting me log in anymore. Furthermore, I am unable to search for videos.
Is this Apple's way of forcing users to upgrade to iOS 6? My phone doesn't have enough space (~50 mb left) or processing power to handle iOS 6, so I'd rather not upgrade. I suspect that youtube will only work if I update it to the iOS6 only version though.
Is anyone else experiencing similar difficulties?
It's just that I have a lot of good applications that I have no reason to delete, and many photos that I wish to keep on my phone. If I can find out how much more space is needed for iOS 6, then I can delete files to compensate.
Again, it's an iPhone 4 (a "free" one) that came with way too little space. *GB, but about 6GB with the required software installed.
Does anyone know how well iOS runs on an iPhone 4, and how large the iOS 6 update is?
EDIT: General Settings tells me that I require 2.8GB of available space. That's impossible for me to do. 150mb maybe...

Greetings, A few days ago, the Youtube app stopped working. The logo comes up, but the progress bar that normally shows loading progress never starts. I have tried unplugging the TV for several hours, but that's about it. Are there any other steps I should take? Netflix appears to work fine. Thanks.
Same exact thing happened to my TV (same model as yours) at the same time it happened to you. And YouTube still does not work. I was hoping it was an issue with YouTube that they would fix, but it's been three weeks and nothing has changed, nor can I find any answer as to why this happened. It's a real bummer, because I used the YouTube app on the TV all the time.

Why have iplayer, music and YouTube apps stopped working on iPad 1?
These have all stopped working on my iPad this week, any ideas on why and what to do?
I also have an iPad1 and my YouTube app keeps giving me an "authentication failed" error. It was working fine up until this morning. I have tried everything I can find online to regain access including: verifying that I am using the correct user name and password, activating 2-step verification and several attempts at application-specific passwords...no luck so far. I am going to try to resist the urge to keep trying for a while, hoping that maybe allowing it time to reset will help???
I do not usually use the Music app, but it seems to work okay for me. I only have a single podcast on there, but it played okay when I tried it. And I do not have iPlayer, so no idea about that one.
Of course Apple online support is no help because my device is "too old" and I can't afford to spend $20 for them to talk to me. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! -
Apple tv - Youtube App stopped working
About 4 months ago, the youtube app on my Apple TV stopped working.
Nothing worked to fix this. But When the new update was released for the Apple TV, everything began working.
But the problem had resurfaced. The Youtube App on my Apple TV is no longer allowing me to log in. It keeps saying that my password is not correct.
Just FYI, to avoid anyone giving me irrelivant information...
1) I do not and never have had the higher level security requiring my cell phone as a secondary authentication.
2) I AM able to log in on my computer with no problem but the Apple TV will not allow me to log in.BTW, I should clarify, I am specifically having a problem mirroring. Home sharing is on and all my library is there, just no mirroring.

YouTube App stopped working on E5-00! Showing conn...
I have problem only with this app, every other app that uses internet works just fine. YouTube App reports the same following error on both, 3G and Wi-Fi. I tried to reinstall the app, but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem (almost) and have been looking for a solution for the past 5 or 6 hours. Can't tell you guys how much I was relieved when I saw "Solved! Go to solution" but unfortunately it didn't work for me.
The thing is, I did a factory reset on my Nokia E63 because of a problem I had with Adobe Reader, and when the phoned turned on after the reset, I found out that Youtube was already installed, but there wasn't any shortcut to launch the app in the Media or Installations menu. So I opened the app manager and deleted it, and then re-installed it ( I installed a 2.04(10) version I found online). And now I have the same error as in OP's picture.
I donwloaded the 2000FBBA folder and tried to copy the files in the C:\Private folder using an app called X-plore (because Youtube was installed in C and there wasn't a 2000FBBA folder in E:\Private). Apparently you can't do that, even with x-plore, so I uninstalled the youtube app, and re-installed it on the SD memory card this time. The youtube app was still not working (same "could not connect" error) so I opened the card on my pc and there was a 2000FBBA folder, but it only had 2 files and a full "res" folder.
I copied the files from your RAR to E:\Private\2000FBBA, put the card back in the phone, turned it on, but youtube was still not working. I should also mention that I did the factory reset like 5 hours ago, but youtube was working fine yesterday, and I forgot to write down the number of the version I was using.
2.04(10) is the only version I have been able to find online. There's this this one but I can't find a way to download it.
This is getting very frustrating for me, and it doesn't help that when I use the web browser and real player to view youtube videos the quality is really bad and there's a lot of "stuttering" and small "breaks" in the sound.
Please I'm open to any suggestions. Even if I have to do another factory reset I'll do it, I just want to watch some videos on my phone -

Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down together until you see the Apple Logo.
Note: Data will not be affected.
(B) Close all apps in the multi-task window
1.Double-click the Home button.
2. Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

Fixed spooler subsystem app stopped working
Hi All,
I had "spooler subsystem app stopped working..." and found solution that may help you to fix your case.
I don't know some how vista turn off LDP port after installing new printer driver and leaves only Internet client port only. That why the printer spooler service failed to start. Solution is:
1. Go to Programs and Features in Control panel > click Turn Windows features on or off
2. click + sign of Print services
3. Select LPD and LPR. You should remove Internet Printing Client. > restart your PC to ensure there is no error of spooler service.
4. Add your printer driver again.
It worked for me. Let try.

My Youtube videos stopped working on my iphone 5s. I have the latest updates on the phone and deleted and reinstalled the Youtube app. Didn't work.
I had major issues using VPN passthrough with PPTP on the RV180W through a PPPoE internet connection. In the end I gave up - I think there are some PPTP servers that the RV180 just has trouble with. I had no problems with 3 other routers straight out the box. Unfortunately I lost access to the VPN server before Cisco could fix.

Its interesting that it used to work and now doesn't - maybe Verizon or the VPN server have had configuration changes? Or maybe your antivirus has created a different profile for the different router - would be worth temporarily disabling any firewal/antivirus?
It would be good to try a different non-Verizon router if you can get your hands on one to see if Verizon network changes now require special features/settings on the router. -
Mail app stopped working after upgrade to Mavericks
Dear All,
I have updated from Mountain Lion (Macbook Pro 3,1, 256SSD) to Mavericks, and mail app stopped working.
That means - when I click the icon - the app does not work.
I can see that it downloads mail - as when I click it I receive notifcation that it has downloaded some mail, however I cannot open window. Sometimes I manage to open it, but it is totally unresponsive - I cannot change or click anything in it.
I have tried repairing disk permissions but without any success.
Moreover if I run mail app and try to click "new message" from the top bar, the window that appears is somewhat mixed with my wallpaper backround (I can see fragments of it).
Please help me, as I had there a few gigs of precious mails that I don't want to lose...

Take notes of all account information or take screen shots. You may need to set the accounts up again. Quit Mail.
Copy the line below.
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Select Go/Go To Folder from the Finder menu bar. Paste the line into the window. You won’t see it.
Move the folder com.apple.mail to your desktop. You must move the entire folder, not just the contents.
Relaunch Mail and test. If the problem is solved, recreate any required Mail settings and import any emails you want to save from the folder on the desktop. If the problem remains, return the folder to where you got it replacing the one that is there.

Show User Library Directory in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion & 10.8 Mountain Lion
You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after every update. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible. -

Unable to load youtube videos. Neither browsing nor the youtube app are working, the video start loading but nothing more happen. This issue is hapenning after I updated to iOS 6.
Try this first.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
And then try this.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
And ... Are you using the mobile YouTube website?

All of my apps stopped working.
Photo shop quit a couple of days ago had to unistall then re install.
Now they have all quit. I am very fustrated that everything I go to do work I have to work on this and uninstall everything then re install

Apps Stopped Working and go back to the home page
Today suddenly my apps stopped working. When i would press them it would come up for a few secs and then go back to the home page. So i deleted all my apps on my ipod and figured i can dl again from my itunes. When i tried syncing the apps i got the msg: Some apps(all of them) were not synced because this computer is not authorized blah blah. I can Sync my songs/photos/vids fine. Can anyone help?

I vote for a new Color Temperature sliding control for the Adjustment Brush. I recently did a couple of weddings with mixed lighting, and could have use that control. As it is, I had to go to Photoshop to fix. The existing Color Patch control is not
