Youtube bookmarks no longer play

Has something changed?
About 95% of my bookmarked videos no longer play. The message I get is "This movie could not be played"
I guess I can see if they're videos that have been uploaded as Flash based movies but why is it they could play before when I bookmarked them and now they can't?

If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

YouTube videos no longer play on Macbook Pro

I don't remember the exact time that this started but I keep getting "An error Occurred Please try again later".   W\hen I try to watch a Youtube Video. This happens on Safari and Firefox with Mavericks.
I can watch some YouTube videos from other websites but there is no sound. I can watch a video on Facbook from Firefox but the same video in Safari will only play for a few seconds without audio then stop. This happened on other sites with videos.
About 2 weeks ago I had some Malware. The guy from Apple cleared my caches, removed Flip4Mac and did some other things which caused a bunch of other issues. Firefox was like I had never had it set up. All my bookmarks and extensions were gone. I had to completely rebuild it. However I believe I was still able to see videos after that I believe. I had a lot of problems with settings being changed.
The other new things is last Friday I got a new Zoom modem. I'm not tech savvy so I have no idea if that could cause this kind of problem.
Can anyone help me? I don't have a clue where to start with this.

I just restarted my computer and some videos are playing with sound in Youtube and the one I couldn't see on Facebook in Safari is working but other's will not play. Is that just the video?

1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
    Press the "Delete All" button.
    Install Adobe Flash Player.

   Follow the prompts and install it.
   Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.

   Safari > Preferences > Security

    Enable it.
3. Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
    Press the”Details” button. A sheet will drop down.
    Enter YouTube in the search box at the top right corner.
    Highlight the YouTube entries that show up.
    Click the “Remove” button at the bottom, then “Done”.

Why do some YouTube videos no longer play in stereo?

I have uploaded over 200 music videos on YouTube (user name "texpaco"), all in HD format. Until recently ALL played in stereo. However, YouTube recently made changes that affect over half of them. They now load with a defaulted 240p playback option which is mono. Switching playback option to 360p on EACH video does allow for playback in stereo, but it has to be done each time the video is accessed. Others videos that load with the same 240p option still play in stereo, and I can discern no rhyme nor reason as to which or why some videos revert to the old mono format.
I have tried browsing YouTube using both IE8 and the latest Google Chrome browsers and with both of them all videos still play in HD (stereo) as before.
Firefox has been my default browser for almost two years and I'm very reluctant to change, but others who use Firefox are undoubtedly experiencing the same problem.
I am using the latest versions of Firefox (3.6.10) and Adobe Flash Player (Version 10,1,85,3), and all other add-on's and plug-in's show current versions with no up-dates available.
I’ve queried YouTube support several times and the best (and only) response has been on the order of “Gee, I dunno!”
Does anyone know what’s going on and what a possible solution might be?

Some of my videos default to 360p, others to 240p. Even some of those that default to 240p STILL play in stereo...no rhyme, reason, nor pattern that I've been able to discern. I repeat that this is a fairly recent problem, starting only a few weeks ago, and seems to be limited to FireFox. Until then, ALL my videos played in HD (stereo).
I've tried several times deleting cookies and going back to YouTube as an unregistered user with the same results. I've cleaned the cache (both CCleaner and CleanUp!), done registry sweeps, cleared history, etc....still same results.
I've had a friend go into YouTube also using all three browsers. Her experience was the same...ALL my videos play in stereo with both IE8 and the latest Google Chrome, almost 2/3 of them now in MONO when using Firefox unless playback option is switched to 360p.

Youtube videos no longer play after upgrading from Firefox 3.x to the new 4.0.1.
The youtube page loads completely but the video never starts.
Firefox displays the page like its done downloading the video, but no video.
It displays as "done" loading the page with no activity in the page tab or bottom bar... but the video screen is black. Everything but the video loads.

I seem to have experienced the same problem, after applying the APEX 4.0.2 patch, my theme produced errors on the new type of date picker. I use the Bravo theme.
I am now trying to purchase the Delta theme, but unfortunately I see today on the Apex-Themes website that the themes are not available to purchase anymore.
Did you manage to resolve your issue? And do you maybe by any chance know where I can get hold of the Delta theme now?

I've restored the phone using iTunes on my laptop and checked all the volumes are turned up and the button at the left hand Side of the phone is in the correct position.

Try inserting and re-inserting your headphones 7 or 8 times. Also try cleaning out the headphone jack in case of debris that might be interfering with the connection/disconnection.

Embedded youtube videos will no longer play in Powerpoint 2010

Since upgrading to Flashplayer 11, I can no longer play embedded youtube videos in powerpoint 2010. I get the error message that I have to upgrade Flashplayer. I have performed several clean installs, yet I continue to get the same error message stating that I have to upgrade Flashplayer. How do I correct this?

i know right here is one fix if u got 2010 powerpoint youtube did some changes thats not compatable with it . 1 way around it that might work for you is within the use old embeded code were it says version=3 change it # into 2 insted of 3. do this in both appeareances.

I can no longer play videos in YouTube. I am running Firefox 37.0.1 (MAC). This is a new problem, most likely occurring in the last 24 hours. YouTube videos are working in Chrome.

So you have business contacts that were lost... do you not have these on a Database in some shape or form? Sounds like you need to invest in a RAID1 backup setup for your computer so you dont have this issue in the future.
As for repairing your problem, sounds like you are going to need to start from scratch at this point or if the data is still on your phone look into a program that can take the information from the phone onto iTunes.

I grabbed my dads iPad and the sound works fine.

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

IPad2 has been updated to iOS6 and will no longer play UTube favourites. These are favourites that have been previously viewed on iPad2 therefore I know the device is capable of playing them. This upgrade is no longer allowing me to use the device for the reason I bought it.

I got a new magic mouse for Christmas. I connected it to my Mac mini Lion. It works great but I can no
longer play videos like from YouTube. I just see a black screen. Even the start triangle does not show up.

The Magic Mouse and YouTube videos don't have anything to do with each other. I switch between my Magic Mouse and my track pad all day, and it has no effect on YouTube.
YouTube playback is browser and Flash Player related.
Check your Safari Security preferences to be sure that Plugins are allowed.

Installed Flash 10.2 and can no longer play Flip vidoes on Flipshare

Hi, I'm looking for some help please as have got very frustrated and wasted far too much time on this! Thanks!
I yesterday installed Flash 10.2 (specifically 10.2.159.1) and now can no longer play Flip videos on Flipshare. I had no problem with this on my previous Flash version (10.1 something I think), and also I don't seem to have issues with videos on other sites eg YouTube, BBC etc.
I am no expert but have tried everything I can think of. Have uninstalled and reinstalled (several times), have tried in Firefox (same problem), upgraded to IE9 from 8 (same problem), did a full Windows update for Windows 7 (same problem), added the site flipshare.com to my safe list (same problem), checked the Add On in Tools (it is apparently installed and Enabled). I am now out of ideas and would very much appreciate some help!
What makes this doubly frustrating is that I only installed 10.2 in the first place because I was trying to help my mum to install it over the phone so SHE could view Flip videos of our small baby (her first grandchild). She is on Vista and probably had a v old version of Flash which I thought was causing her problem (she could view them OK up to about a week or so ago), but now neither of us can play them!
Any help or ideas very much apprecited!

Yes that is the right site, it's a site where you view videos shared by people with a certain type of video camera (a Flip).
Yes I can see the Flash animation on the login page fine, how odd ...
And yes when I right click a video that has been shared with me I can see settings and global settings (and in fact went in there to disable hardware acceleration, but when I did it made no difference). In fact I can see the first frame of the video and it also shows the video's correct length in minutes, but when you press play the screen goes blank and nothing happens. As I think I mentioned, before I installed 10.2 I could play the same videos from this site with no problem ...

Safari will no longer play apple tutorials on the web

I've only had my mac for a couple of days and somehow safari will no longer play apple tutorials. If I click on one, it just loads and loads but never plays. Firefox doesn't work either. Somehow this feels quicktime related. My system is brand new. I have a quicktime plugin that has a version 7.6.3. Any help would be appreciated (youtube works fine).

Empty your cache more often!
And, launch iTunes. Select ITunes Store on the left side of the window then in the Search field top right type in: Apple Quick Tips
You can not only watch those but download them as well.
Trashing .plist application files is a great trouble shooting idea! I clean forgot.
