Youtube error message, an error occurred, please try again later. Something wrong with my profile, but, What?
My error problem is with my profile. A new profile fixed this problem.
I cant move to a new profile, it's just too much work to set. I just want to know what is wrong this this one.
Video didn't work in safe mode so i can say none of addons is conflicting. I think some about:config pref is hurting this but what. You guys are far more experienced. Please provide me with some insights to solve this very frustrating problem.

hello, try to reset your custom set preferences starting with '''network''' in about:config & also turn security.mixed_content.block_display_content back to false.
i also got this problem once & could resolve it by deleting the permissions.sqlite file inside my[[Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data|profile folder]]...

I recently asked a questions saying:
"I click on a YouTube video, an error message shows on the screen saying: "An error occurred, please try again later. Learn more" with a black background. I am pretty sure all of you guys have experienced it at least once. However, this phenomenon occurs every time I click a video. I cleared my cookies, updated my Adobe flash player, enabled java script, and updated Firefox. But these did not solve my problems. Help me out please!"
Someone replied to my question, saying that I should disable my adobe accelerator, which I have done. However, the youtube videos still do not load and the error message keep coming up. I am getting really frustrated. I have tried everything. Please help me.Same problem here, none of the posted solutions worked. :/ Everything up to date, safe mode or not, doing everything abive... still nothing. Videos show the loading animation for a little while, then "an error occurred..."

I keep getting the message on youtube "an error occurred, please try again later." I've tried all of the recommended solutions to no avail. The funny thing is, the advertisements play just fine, but the actual video won't. Any ideas?
Most YouTube content requires Flash ...
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
If you are viewing YouTube from Safari, press Command + Option + E to empty the Safari cache.
Quit and relaunch Safari, try a video.
If that doesn't help, you may have the YouTube HTML5 beta enabled.

I have a new MacBook Pro 15" Retina with OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.3 (just did the combo update)
iPhoto 11 (9.4.3) is installed and freshly updated.
I used to share photos from iPhoto directly from my previous computer (a 2009 MacBook Pro running OSX Leopard).
It doesn't seem to work anymore on my new computer. When I try to connect to facebook, I keep having the same message :"An unknown error occurred, please try again later".
I am in China, where Facebook is blocked, but I have a VPN on (Astrill), simulating a connection from LA. I have no problem at all to access Facebook from Chrome, Safari and Skype.
I am sure that I am typing the right username and password.
I made sure iPhoto wasn't blocked in my facebook app settings.
I tried to delete the account, closing iPhoto and relaunching. It still does not work.
I tried to delete the com.apple.iphoto.plist from Library/Preferences (as suggested on another thread in this forum). It didn't do anything.
It is getting very frustrating and I really don't want to throw my new computer through the room. Anyone managed to solve this issue ?
Thanks.It is peculiar, that Chrome, Safari, and Skype can access FB, but not the iPhoto uploader.
Do you see any error messages/ diagnostics in the Console Window, when you try to connect to Facebook?
Launch a Console window from Applications > Utilities and clear the Console Window. Then try to upload. Are there any new messages?
And also launch a Terminal and have a look, if "facebook.com" is properly resolved:

Embedded YouTube videos always result in "An error occurred, please try again later."
No matter what website I'm no, all embedded videos on youtube pages result in the player window loading everything but the video (buttons, timebar, related videos, etc) but never the video itself. Instead it's a black box with "An error occurred, please try again later" displayed.
If I go to the video's page on the actual YouTube, it plays without a problem. Embedded videos that aren't from youtube work fine, too. This only occurs with YouTube videos embedded in other non-youtube pages. This only occurs with FF (the past few versions, too), Chrome works just fine, and on several different computers (XP, Vista x64, and 7 x64).
Also, clearing Cache does nothing, nor does clearing cookies.The problem is with the the [http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1781785 Third Party Cookies]

First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

Firefox 3.6.3 wont play embedded youtube videos. It comes up with "an error occurred please try again later. this happens all the time. If you click to go to youtube the clip plays.

Every time Firefox openedI was having the same issue up until I found a solution myself a few minutes ago. If you have "Accept Third Party Cookies" un-checked it will not allow the embedded "Third party" youtube videos to load. You can either Check the box to allow third party cookies or add an exception to allow youtube.com WITHOUT the www. You just want it to be Youtube.Com.
To do so just go to Tools: Options: Privacy: Exceptions: Type in Youtube.com and click Allow. Then click Close and OK. It should start working immediately. -

This happens every once in awhile. Just give it some time and it usually fixes itself. If it still doesn't work, try deleting the cookies in your web browser. Post back if it is working or not please.

Not sure if this is a suitable forum, but when I was using Iphoto '08 V7.1.3 (latest version), and I tried to purchase an album, the following error always appeared : "Unexpected error has occurred, please try again later".
It always appears after iphoto has transfered all the data across after I click 'Buy Now'. And it is driving me crazy!
I called up apple support and have tried to do whatever they told me to, which includes:
1) Creating a new album
2) Creating a new apple i.d.
but its all futile! The dreaded message always appears!
Does anyone know if theres any way I can just SEND THE THING over manually, in a CD or something, cos I really want the album book! Or, do any technical guys here have any idea?? Im also kinda tired of waiting on the hold line on the phone!I wish I could help - but I am having the same exact problem. It is totally frustrating to make the book and then go through all the steps only to have the same message appear.

Each time I click on "sign in" , OR EVEN "create a new account", it keeps giving me a message to some effect of, "An error has occured, please try again later." It also includes some four or five digit number in parenthesis. I've tried to fix this but have no clue how to remove the error message and proceed. Can someone please give me a break-down of how to fix it? I need to redeem a gift card, and also obviously want to have access to purchase other items. Thanks.
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
