Youtube has stopped working
Every now and then youtube will not work. Videos load but they will not play. If I press play they still won't play.
The YouTube application, as with the iTunes Wifi Music store are owned and managed by Apple. Even though you may think it is just accessing the whole youtube library through safari, and displaying some fancy UI, it's not. It's a separate application managed by Apple, which has a back entrance to YouTube.com Therefore, Apple could be adding more videos/updating it. As you might find with the iTune Wifi Music STore, it may 'go down' every now and then, as the PC Itunes sometimes does.
Hope this explains a little.

When youtube stops working, videos display a large play button in the center that is normally not there. When I attempt to play the video (by pressing either the middle button or normal one), videos show the "an error occurred, please try again later" screen. Clearing the cache fixed it once, but videos went back to not working in the way described above after some time.
Try to clear the YouTube cookies and maybe the cache as well when this happens.
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
Start Firefox in <u>Safe Mode</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

YouTube has stopped working on my touch
Just tried to access YouTube on my new 16gig touch and I get a message saying "YouTube not available". There's nothing there except 2 videos that are somehow stored in the cache and still work.
This was working all day yesterday when I bought it. Just tried YouTube on Apple TV and that works OK. Safari and itunes store connect no problem.
Tried resetting the ipod, turning off WI-FI (and on again), logging in and out of itunes account, all to no avail.

I've been using Youtube fine for years in Firefox but all of a sudden yesterday videos doesn't play right from Youtube in Firefox. The video tries to load for a bit then just goes to the end and if I click the play button it's stuck in endless loading.
It seems to be only a Youtube plus Firefox related problem. Dailymotion and other flash videos from other websites loads right and I can load Youtube videos in Internet Explorer just fine.
I've tried many methods in the search related threads here in the support section and they were of no help. I've uninstalled and reinstall Flash multiple times. I'm truly lost now on what to do here. I would like to continue using Firefox as my main browser.Hello,
Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in your Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).
To disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player:
#Go to this Adobe Flash Player Help page.
#Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.
#Click on Settings in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
# Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel. <br/> <br/> <br/>
# Remove the check mark from Enable hardware acceleration.
# Click Close to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
# Restart Firefox.
This Flash Player Help - Display Settings page has more information on Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you're interested.
Does this solve the problem? Let us know. -
Youtube has stopped working on Apple TV 2.
My Airport Express connection is fine. And Apple TV does load all of the latest movies on the iTunes page. It will not load any youtube videos or even images of the video. Anyone know what could be wrong?
Had similar issues with You Tube on ATV2. Could log into You tube and browse videos, but when trying to play it would continuously circle scroll then bomb out with the 'not available, try again later' error. Tried restart, reset then factory reboot to no avail. Also, could not connect via airplay from my iPad mini.
Fixed it by switching to WiFi instead of Ethernet (with power line EoM adapters). Now it works perfectly. Not sure what is going on with the Ethernet connection over power line adaptors. Worked fine for everything else, just you tube that was flakey. Probably an issue with my router not opening ports properly with UPnP. -
Youtube has stopped working properly on my macbook.
I get the home screen but when I click on a videp it comes on with soubd but the picture is all pixillated and fractured. It looks as though it is being blocked. Does anyone know of this problem or whether it's curable?
its a MAC you dont have to worry about virus regardless of www browser, thats in the OS, not the browser,
I only suggested downloading chrome and firefox and seeing if you have same VID issues,..... its quickest process of elimination path for seeing what the ROOT CAUSE of your youtube issue is.
its nearly a sure thing its your flash player plugin, or an issue with a cookie in Safari -
The sound on all of my game apps and my alerts has stopped working. Still works for Netflix, Hulu, YouTube... Anything video related. Anyone else have this problem or know what I should do to fix it?
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.
This support article from Apple explains how the side switch works.

My Youtube videos stopped working on my iphone 5s. I have the latest updates on the phone and deleted and reinstalled the Youtube app. Didn't work.
I had major issues using VPN passthrough with PPTP on the RV180W through a PPPoE internet connection. In the end I gave up - I think there are some PPTP servers that the RV180 just has trouble with. I had no problems with 3 other routers straight out the box. Unfortunately I lost access to the VPN server before Cisco could fix.
See thread:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2174283?tstart=0
Its interesting that it used to work and now doesn't - maybe Verizon or the VPN server have had configuration changes? Or maybe your antivirus has created a different profile for the different router - would be worth temporarily disabling any firewal/antivirus?
It would be good to try a different non-Verizon router if you can get your hands on one to see if Verizon network changes now require special features/settings on the router. -

The sound on my computer has stopped working. I have searched through countles google entries to try and figure out the problem but I can't find anything remotely useful. I never spilled any liquid or anything on my computer. I was just searching through youtube and when I clicked a video there was no sound. Then I checked iTunes and tried to play some music, still no sound. I played around with the preferences and volume control, still no sound. If you have any advice please help. Going to the apple store is so expensive and I don't have the time or money.
Did you try resetting PRAM and SMC?
Is there any red light visible in the headphone port? -
Adobe Flash Player 11.3 r300 has stopped working
I have Firefox 13.0.1, Win 7 Home Edition 64 bit, latest adobe flash player version 11.3.300.262. Latest nvidia drivers 301.42 - WHQL, 260 gtx nvidia card. I did a clean reinstall for nvidia drivers, and flash drivers, still same problem.
Everytime I go to fullscreen mode, my screen turns white and I have to left click on my mouse so the white screen goes away(otherwise the white screen hangs indefinite), I get a windows message stating adobe flash player has stopped working. After that I get send crash report for adobe.
Image to when the flash crashes. http://i.imgur.com/fX7Ld.jpg
This never happened with Adobe flash player 11.2, never. With the latest update it crashes, everytime I go fullscreen. This happens on http://www.twitch.tv streams, any livestreams. Youtube seems to be fine, when going fullscreen mode. And no, I don't have RealPlayer installed. I only have 3 addons installed and enable. Adobe Acrobat, Flash, and Silverlight, all latest editions. Everything else is disabled, or uninstalled.
I've Disabled Hardware accelartion in firefox still same problem, but with flash hardware acceleration enabled. I've tried Firefox Safe mode with all addons disabled, same problem.

Adobe Flash Player 11.9 r900 has stopped working
I see that I have the same problem as another person who posted, and was not sure whether to reply to hers or start a new discussion. Everytime I try to open a new website in Firefox I get the message that Adobe Flash Player 11.9 r900 has stopped working, and that data execution has shut down the program to protect my system. This is very frustrating, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
i am having the same issue, constant pop-ups saying that it has stopped working. i have uninstalled, using the uninstaller provided as well as through control panel. I could not reinstall through the normal download manager, everytime i tried to open it the installer would crash AND somehow delete its installer from the download folder magically... i tried to reinstall with a downloadable .exe and it seemed to work but quickly reverted to crashing before i could play even one youtube video. I cant visit hardly any websites without getting constant crash pop-ups. PLEASE HELP! i will remote desktop asap or try to downlaod whatever, but id really love to fix this without a complete reformat.

C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txtI have Firefox 13.0.1, Win 7 Home Edition 64 bit, latest adobe flash player version 11.3.300.262.
This never happened with Adobe flash player 11.2, never. With the latest update it crashes, everytime I go fullscreen. This happens on twitch.tv streams, any livestreams. Youtube seems to be fine, when going fullscreen mode. And no, I don't have RealPlayer installed. I only have 3 addons installed and enable. Adobe Acrobat, Flash, and Silverlight, all latest editions. Everything else is disabled, or uninstalled.
This issue does not happen when hardware accelaration is disabled in flash settings.
Please fix this issue. -
"firefox has stopped working" upon startup
Few seconds upon start-up, Firefox greys out and the message "firefox has stopped working" appears leaving me with only the option of closing it. I've tried resetting firefox to default state and safe mode with add-on disabled etc but so far the only reliable method I've found is to reinstall it every time, however this only guarantees one use as once I've closed the browser the same problem re-occurs. The only major action I've performed may have been accidentally removing youtube(which contributed to a major portion of my browsing history) from the browsing history after which caused Firefox to lag/freeze and crash and hence my problem began. I tried the profile manager but that crashes on start up as well.

You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.<br /><br />

42SL417U Youtube app stopped working
Greetings, A few days ago, the Youtube app stopped working. The logo comes up, but the progress bar that normally shows loading progress never starts. I have tried unplugging the TV for several hours, but that's about it. Are there any other steps I should take? Netflix appears to work fine. Thanks.
Same exact thing happened to my TV (same model as yours) at the same time it happened to you. And YouTube still does not work. I was hoping it was an issue with YouTube that they would fix, but it's been three weeks and nothing has changed, nor can I find any answer as to why this happened. It's a real bummer, because I used the YouTube app on the TV all the time.
