Youtube loading is sporadic and inefficient-stop, load, start is it mozilla or my computer?
not just youtube - i cannot load online video well - so the question is -
is it my computer or is it mozilla?
yes we have most recent adobe update installed.
but we've had some issues with the internet connection - this is our vacation place- so it's dsl and our linksys seems to be having problems - will know more later this week when new linksys unit is installed.

try this only after you've made sure that any antiviral/firewall software isnt blocking iTunes and the internet connection settings are fine
1. go to windows, accessories and right click on command prompt and run as administrator
2. type in netsh winsock reset (i know sounds ridiculous but it works type WITH SPACES) and press enter
3. Message saying "winsock reset successful now reboot your computer"
4. restart your computer, and open iTunes..backup should run much smoother and faster

No, you cannot downgrade your iOS device. That's not supported by Apple.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, check restrictions. Settings > General > Restrictions -
I was just listening to my iPod shuffle and it stopped working. I plugged it into the computer to sync it and it won't sync. The little light don't come on on my nano. I've turned it off and on, pushed the play/pause and nothing. Can anyone help me out here?
How long have you left the iPod to charge? It can take up to 30 minutes before it shows any signs of life. Did you use the instructions in this article to properly reset the Shuffle?

I just got a MacBook Pro 10.8.2. but facebook only works for about 3 minutes and then stops loading.
My computer is completely new with nothing on it at all. It was bought in the USA but i am living and using the computer in Israel, i dont know if that matters. every other website that i have gone on works just fine, facebook is the only one that stops loading after a few minutes. Please help. I dont know computers well at all and dont know the "computer language" so please if someone could help me and explain to me very simply what i need to do to fix the problem.
THank you so much!Try going to Starbucks and connect thru their WiFi and see if you experience same issue. If not, it may be your wireless router not compatible to wireless-N built in the macbook pro. It could be your router cycling on and off its connection without even noticing it. Do you have any other wifi at home that doesn't experience this issue?

After installing Firefox 6 MANY web site will not finish loading. I disabled all add-ons and still have the problem. If I disable javascript, the pages will load. When the page is trying to load, if I hit "stop loading this page" and then hit "reload this page", the page will load; but sometimes I have to do this 2-3 times for the page to finish loading. No problem with these pages using IE8.
I see that you ave changed some network.http prefs.<br />
Doing that can cause all kinds of problems because not all servers like such changes, so you can try to reset those prefs on the about:config page.<br />

To rectify this I go back one page to the Google results or hyperlink and ask FF to load the webpage again. This usually solves the problem but not always. I have cleared cookies and cache and added FF to exceptions in windows firewall. The websites affected are not always the same and some that load quickly one day can take ages next time. IE8 loads all websites OK. Antivirus and malware scans all clear.

When im in photoshop drawing and i stop it starts drawing striaght lines
okay, When I go into photoshop to draw ill be drawing and then stop to do something like change the color, the size of the brush, what kind of brush, ect. and go back to drawing it doesn't free draw it just draws straight lines. I have another program where I edit videos and it lets me draw on there too but it doesn't do what photoshop does. I don't know if its just photoshop or what but it doesn't do it in any other program but photoshop. please help! thanks in advance!

Safari crashing! YouTube videos not loading! Message and email not loading! HELP!!!
So a week or so after the newest update came out for the iPod touch 4 (IOS 5.1.1) my safari stoped working along with YouTube and email. When I tap on the safari app, it shows the search bar and just a blank open page from anywhere from less then a second to ten seconds then it suddenly crashes. This happens every time I try to open safari. What Happens with YouTube: I open YouTube and it will let me serch for a video to watch then when I click on a video to watch it just says it is loading and won't stop. If tested it and it will keep loading and won't stop. What happens with message and email: basically they just won't load any new messages and won't let me send any either. Every other application that runs off wifi works just not those four. I've been connected to wifi and it won't work. If went to other wifi and it won't work. I've tried everything and it still won't work. Please help me! I really need it! :)
Try the standard fixes:

Loading too long, and finally: "Stop script"
Firefox loads extremely slowly. In certain cases finally shows the "Stop script / Continue script" dialog several times. After closing I get the "FF is running" and have to kill in task manager. I'm forced to use other browsers.
Before disabling Copernik ALWAYS had the "Stop script" dialog with a mention of Copernik site. After disabling problem persists with other sites, not mentioned in any of the add ons.
A possible solution seems to me would be to load FF without extensions. Is this possible in an easy way?

Go into tools, click add-ons, click extentions on the left and then click the disable button for the AVG toolbar/search or any other AVG extentions -
How do i fix the load issue. It wont load anymore. i see the opening version screen and then it vanishes and goes away. Never loaded. this just started recently in the last week or two.
Try turning on your OS's hidden files and clearing the program cache: Deleting a corrupted cache file
If that doesn't work, renaming the personal configuration folder at the location discussed above can fix issues the cache clearing doesn't. If neither of those work, restoring preferences can help: Restore preferences | Dreamweaver CS4, CS5, CS5.5 -

I am currently using version 1.2.1.
I just tried it with a smaller project and the loading wheel did not appear but the brush seemed to have lagged on the screen. It returned to normal after about 20 seconds.
Yes, I have used all tools and this is the only tool that makes it happen.

Could you specify the model of MacBook and the OS X it's running, please? Some of the advice or references vary along with the system, so this could be helpful to formulate a reply. I've never used a Guest User selection, but do have more than one User.
If the computer does not have an optical drive, you may be able to boot it into a recovery disk mode or something; in an attempt to see what is wrong and maybe fix it.
