YouTube loads incredibly slowly...

So at first I thought it was YouTube that was loading videos slowly, but every time I try to watch a video, it either loads EXTREMELY slowly, or doesn't load at all.
Help?

Hi Caserluff,
Try testing on 3G, EDGE, and Wi-Fi. Does YouTube load slowly on other networks?
If the iPhone isn't already updated, update it to iPhone software 2.2.1.
You can check the version on the iPhone by tapping> Settings> General> about.
This article: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305744 provides more information about updating and restoring the iPhone.

  • Youtube Loading Incredibly Slow/With Errors

Ever since I updated to v37 browsing Youtube has been a nightmare. I get the spinning wheel for 20 seconds adn than an error. I refresh and it finally works but I have to do this for every video. I have disabled all of my addons and it still happens. I have checked and made sure Java/Flash are all up to date and they are. I have tried using the html5 player but it still takes forever to load. I was hoping 37.2 would fix things but it hasnt. Why is watching videos on youtube such a hassle but when I try using Chrome it loads up immediately without any errors. Solutions? THanks

Start '''[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode Firefox in Safe Mode]''' {web Link} by holding down the '''<Shift><br> ''(Mac Options)'' ''' key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:
    * see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

    * disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

  • Youtube loading is stop and start

I noticed that since I downloaded the latest Adobe flash player, the Youtube videos load very slowly. The loading is stop and start.
Before I installed the latest flash player Youtube videos worked well. No problem.
I repaired permissions. I even installed old versions of flash player, flash player 9 and flashplayer 10UB. I uninstalled before I installed the other versions. I made sure to repair permissions after installing.
I am back to installing the newest version and repairing permissions. After restarting the computer, Youtube videos still download in a stop and start way with a few seconds in between.
I turned off iPv6 as well. Nothing helps.
The strange thing is that Youtube videos worked well before I downloaded the latest flash player.
This is a MacBook Air rev C HDD 120GB. I have Leopard OS 10.56.
It's the same for Safari, Firefox and Opera. All browsers are up to date.

yes we have most recent adobe update installed.
but we've had some issues with the internet connection - this is our vacation place- so it's dsl and our linksys seems to be having problems - will know more later this week when new linksys unit is installed.
    thank you

  • After updating flash player, youtube loads very slow

Youtube videos load very slowly since I updated flash player.  Once they are loaded, they play ok, but I cannot skip ahead, etc.

    Andy..
Keep in mind, you can't "skip ahead" any farther then the video has buffered but try the following since it loads slow.
Uninstall your current copy of the Flash plugin then reinstall then restart your Mac  >  Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
And if you haven't done so, empty the Safari cache. From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
You can also try resetting Safari. Back to the menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari
Select the top 5 buttons, click Reset.
Quit then relaunch Safari... try a video.
And make sure your system software is up to date. Click your Apple menu > Software Update...

  • Movie trailers loading sooooooo slowly....

I don't know what happened but i recently tried
watching some trailers and they are loading so slowly
or not at all. the "working" indicator is just spinning
    and spinning.
This used to go so fast and now its basically unusable.
I have a wireless g network and haven't changed anything. webpages load fast on my laptop wirelessly so i know it isn't my internet connection.
anyone else having this problem. is this another glitch that happened after updating to 1.1?

ok, now the movie trailers are working fine,
but youtube isn't working. same thing, very very very
slow loading. even the stills are taking forever to show up.
things used to be so smooth and predictable with my apple tv. everything used to just work perfect everytime.
Is anyone else having this experience?

  • IBooks Author: in exported file, one page loads very slowly...

iBooks Author: in exported file, one page loads very slowly and drags when scrolling through pages, almost stopping the scroll.  I have never seen this problem before with photo pages.  Normally they scroll just as smoothly as text pages.
I have tried rebuilding the page with more compressed files to no avail.  The image files used on the page are not any bigger than others I have used previously without any problem.
I have tried restarting my iBook.
I am using a template that I have modified quite a bit.  The templates currently offered by Apple and third parties are not even close to what I am looking for in terms of layout, so I have to rip almost everything out of the page and start with a blank page, most of the time.  I tried modyfying the layouts to save time and then saved as a new template.  Apple really needs to add a module to create your own template at the beginning of a project.  Or they need to create one very open template, without much on the pages.

I finally solved the problem by using an unmodified template. I would still like to know how my modifications to the other template caused the problem, but for now it remains a mystery.  Thanks for your ideas.
Next I will try modifying the template without saving it as a template (merely saving it as a file) to see if I can get away with my modifications.  Also I will make fewer modifications.
Slowly but surely I am learning this program by trial and error.  Each time I try a few formatting variations, output an iBooks file, and open it on my iPad.  I have probably done 20 of these tests, so far.  Once I work out every detail of the design and structure, I will build the final book.  I am lucky to have a beautiful PDF of the hardcover version, generously provided by my publisher.  This not only sets a high bar for me, but also allows me to use some of their design elements via screen capture.
iBooks Author has great potential, but I along way to go to get there. One feature I would really like to see in the next update: the ability to add a hidden caption to a photo.  The reader would tap the image and the caption would appear. Tap again and it disappears.

  • Firefox processes, renders and loads pages slowly.

Firefox v.29.0.1 loads webpages slowly. When I visit a website it loads information for that page very slowly. (ex. msn.com, irs.gov) There is a small box in the lower left corner stating that it is waiting for----. Then it begins transferring data needed to render the page. Sometimes the page does not render correctly. I have tried resetting FF but that did not work. Is there a setting that was changed when FF updated to v29.
    Anyone else have this issue?

    Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
Further information can be found in the [[Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox]] article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
    Thank you.

  • Web pages loading very slowly.

It doesn't matter if my Mac is connected with an ethernet cable or wireless, web pages are loading very slowly. I'm sure there's an easy fix for this but I'm clueless. Can anyone offer a suggestion? Thanks...

Try clicking safari> reset safari.this should speed things up a bit. also click preferences, cookies, and clear some unwanted cookies.

  • Aperture does not recognize that there are images to be imported on an SD card. My workaround is to copy the images from the ST card to a folder and then import the images from the folder. Aperture also imports incredibly slowly after the update to 3.4

Aperture does not recognize that there are images to be imported on an SD card. My workaround is to copy the images from the SD card to a folder and then import the images from the folder. Aperture also imports incredibly slowly after the update to 3.4

Check your Import settings in the Import Panel, i.e. all that might exclude the image type you want to import:
If you did not exclude any file types, and still Aperture will not import, remove your ImageCapture preferences fro your user library:
To remove the image capture preferences:
If Aperture is running, quit Aperture,  and log off and on again.
Open your user library from the Finder's Go menu: Hit Command Shift G (⌘⇧G) and then type in: ~/Library/Preferences/  then hit return.
In the window that opens remove "com.apple.ImageCapture.plist"
and look into the subfolder "ByHost": if there are files named com.apple.ImageCapture  something .plist  remove them too.
    then try again.
And if that still does not help, remove the Aperture preferences as well:
    ~/Library/Preferences/aperture.plist
    Regards
    Léonie
P.S. in MacOS Lion and later the user library ~/Library is hidden by default.
You can reveal it also  from the Finder's "Go" menu:
Finder > Go,   then hold down the options ⌥ key, until the Library appears in the drop-down menu, select it and open the Library folder. Then go to the "Preferences".

  • The fancybox images on the Recent Images section of the site are loading very slowly. This just started happening with Mozilla 8. Is there a fix?

The images on the fancybox on the bottom of our main page (Recent Images) are loading very slowly. This issue is only on Mozilla 8. When you browse through the images the loading begins from top to bottom.

The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.
Try to decrease the value of the pref <b>network.http.max-connections</b> from 256 to 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.

  • Since update, various sites load very slowly and some do not load until "Reload Current Page" is clicked several times.

Since Firefox update (6.0.2) many sites load very slowly and some do not load at all (green circle rotates infinitely) until "Reload Current Page" is clicked on 2 to 12 times.
Returned to version 5. No more slow load.
Automatically re-updated me to 6.0.2 and now slow again.
Returned to FF 5 again and turned off automatic update.
Downloaded 7.0.1 and the problem seems to be solved.

Same here, only that updating to 7.0 or 7.0.1 doesn't seem to solve this issue. Seems to have something to do with loading images (e.g: adobe.com stops loading when "wwwimages.adobe.com" is being loaded. imdb.com, on the other hand, seems to load images very slowly and not all of them).
Safe-mode. disabling add-ons, clearing cache and cookies and checking for malware doesn't help.

  • Problems with my E63. Running incredibly slowly.

Basically my E63 is running incredibly slowly and will not run any applications or even allow me to send a text. It allows me to make a phone call, but only if I type in the number from the main screen, which takes about 30 seconds to appear once ive typed it. Any ideas what the problem is?

Okey, youre not able to open anything on it?
I was thinking cleaning the browser cache, maybe deleting some messages etc, but it is impossible or what?
If the phonememory is full, it could be that which is making your phone act so slow. If you havent any programs running (as you cannot open any) it shouldn't be lack of ram.
What you could try is to soft reset your device, which in this case will wipe your phone memory deleting all installed apps, contacts, messages etc.
Before doing this you should back up your belongings to e. g ovi suite or Nokia pc suite.
I also suggest you buy a memory card. A smaller memory card is very cheap and it would take away a lot of problems related to phone memory as you can store pics, messages, videos, songs, a lot of apps etc, on it.

  • CPU load growing slowly at exact pace

    Hi all,
I'm experiencing a weird thing since migrating from 10.5 server to 10.6 server: The CPU load grows slowly but steadily after each restart. After two days the server gives bad response, resulting in beachballs coming and going on both the server and all clients with server home folders. After a restart everything is OK again, and the CPU load starts slowly to grow again, even at night when the load should be near zero. Have anyone experienced this? Any ideas?

I've checked both logs and AM, but I don't see anything special there. The active processes just seems to slowly be eating more and more CPU time. The CPU load grows by a linear rate from a mere 5%, and when it reaches about 40% the sluggishness begins. This process takes about 2 days. There's currently no third party software running. Services that run are: AFP, DNS, FTP, iCal, Mail, OD, SMB, VPN and Web. The server has a RAID-card with the three bays set up as a RAID5.

  • Why my compiled swf is loading too slowly?

    Hi,
Previously we are directly accessing th site with .mxml url.
Thta time file was loading too slowly. But afterwords, we are
loading compiled .swf file. It is much better.
assume, we are having two swfs
    1.compiled swf is 400KB.
    2. and one animated swf is 1.5MB.
here for our site animated swf it self is loading much faster
then my compiled swf. Why it is happenning like this? What we have
to do to load our compiled .swf also to be loaded much more fastly.
    Thanks
    Satish KC.

Load speed depends on how you have architected the
    application.
Avoid nested containers. Do not use creationPolicy="all"
There are articles available out there try google.
