Youtube login older device

Hi
Having some problems with my Youtube account on my apple tv (1st generation ? bought in 2007), due to new security measures from Google/Youtube :
1st could not login on apple tv, to refresh my account content ( an issue from the beginning in 2007, but solved with logout and log in ), then I found out that google has new security measures denying any log in from unknown devices. Issue solved by changing security google settings in my computer (reducing security to accept unknown devices).
But today was trying to log in again for refreshing the content, and after the log in, I cannot see any content of my account in my apple tv.
Also, I see in youtube settings on my computer a new tab for youtube on TV, talking about a code to insert in my device so it can be recognised has a safe device. I suspect this is out of my apple tv's league, since it's an old device.
Can anyone enlighten me ?

ok i got it working..
i logged out and had to create a whole new account not too easy to find an unused user name. then i had to wait for the confirmation email which i confirmed.
now it all up and running just great

i started using a new macbook pro 15" mid 2014.
now i have a lot of different email adressen ( from school , gmail , hotmail , ... ) .

hotmail's contacts are missing in contacts app etc.
really annoying.
so i was wondering if maybe i could just import my ' internet accounts ' in whole , to the new computer. through maybe a time machine backup of the older device?
is this possible ?
im talking about the 'internet accounts' not the user account.

if you copy the iTunes folder from the old to the new Mac, your Touch will just continue to sync with iTunes as if nothing happened.

When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.

Make sure that your security software (firewall) isn't blocking or interrupting that connection.
Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.<br />
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.<br />

Getting contacts on an older device ios4

I have an ipad 3 which syncs over icloud in regard to my contact list. I was able to use the icloud manager to then keep it synced to my outlook on Windows. But I also have an older device, an ipod touch that won't go beyound version 4.2.1 of ios, and i would really like if this kept up to date with my contacts? Is there a way to do this? When I go into itunes, it says my ipad syncs with the cloud, so it can't be set up to sync with itunes directly.

Just what do you mean? Only devices with iOS 7 and later have the Activation Lock that uses our Apple ID, Only the 5G can go to iOS 7 and higher.

If you forgot your screen-lock passcode then:

Connect the iOS device to your computer and try to make a backup

Then restore via iTunes. The iOS device will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you cannot use your Wi-Fi after the latest update to your iPhone 4s. I know you have already done some great troubleshooting by restoring with iTunes but the Wi-Fi becomes unavailable very quickly after you set it up. Go ahead and set up the iPhone so you can get into the Setting and then follow the steps provided in the attached article.

Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you complete all of these steps and still are not able to access the Wi-Fi, it may be necessary to follow the link at the bottom of the page and contact Apple Support.

Why has HP abandoned driver development for older devices to Microsoft. I have recently purchased a Win 7 Pro machine and hooked up my Photosmart 7150 printer and my ScanJet 4070. According to your support page there are no drivers provided for Win 7 and I am to use the ones the OS provides. The driver for the printer is date 2007 and the one for the scanner is 2006. So clearly Microsoft didn't see fit to update them for Win 7 and by your own support page information the Win 7 drivers DO NOT support full functionality and half the 'workaround' suggestions are blank.
I run an HP PC, use HP printer and scanner and frankly I feel like I've been abandoned here.

YouTube login & linking problems - one possible solution

Rather than add this comment to one of the several topics concerning YouTube login and account linking problems, I'm starting this topic to isolate this particular problem and the solution that worked for me.

The problem I experienced surfaced when I first tried to upload a video to YouTube from my iPhone 4. YouTube would no longer accept my YouTube password. My YouTube account was linked to my gmail.com account. Having read some of the suggestions in other threads, I unlinked the two accounts, but that did not help matters.
I signed out of the YouTube app in order to sign back in, as suggested elsewhere, but then I could no longer sign in to the YouTube app.
So I tried shutting down my iPhone and starting it up again, as was also suggested elsewhere. That didn't help.
So, exasperated, I went to the YouTube site and tried to change my YouTube account password to itself - and therein lay the solution! YouTube told me the password has to be 5 to 20 characters long and my (old) password was only 4 (because I had created my YouTube account long ago before they had that requirement.)
Once I set a new password that was long enough to satisfy this requirement, I was able to login to the YouTube app just fine and everything is working.
* The solution -> MAKE SURE YOUR YouTube PASSWORD IS LONGER THAN 4 CHARACTERS

No, it didn't work. After buying my MacBook Pro I updated everything including QT. As a result QT 7.2 simply didn't play any of my divx avi files. Before adopting the rude way, I obviously tried to update/replace all of the components including: Perian, DivX, Flip4mac. No way. I then forced a downgrade to ver. 7.1.6 using Pacifist (a package manager) and as a result I put the hole system in danger. It was in a total state of malfunction. I had to restore the system with the cd. Fortunately it kept my home! But I now run ver 7.1.6 and I do NOT have any intention to update it. I use Pro so I don't have any necessity of full screen support or else. Maybe if Apple will release a stable version I will consider the update. But for now, "nowing it is not installing it".

I am unable to login into youtube off the app. When i use safari and go to youtube i can log in but not off the app. I already went to youtube setting and added mobile but still doesnt work.
Any suggestions?

Solution: Don´t use your YouTube login name!
Use your Google account login instead.. in my case Google account email address plus account password.

Yes, as we all heard is that bbm is coming to android and Iphone. We all know that BB10 does not us BIS and the older devicec need BIS to operate to the full, why can blackberry not open this to all so that i can bbm without BIS on my older device? yesBIS is nice but what about the people that want to use their older phones like the BB10.
Only some features work without BIS, like the excample whatsapp, browser but all the good stuff like Blackberry world are blocked as well as Blackberry Protect, Facebook and so i can go on ....
Let the people that want BIS get it like that and the other that want it without BIS get it like that then Blackberre will be more flexible.
Cant they see they will now loose more customers to the other platforms where they can keep the people on the older native devices ....Please Blackberry UNBLOCK US ....

Yes, 1.19GB of "other" is normal. Normal is a little over 1GB.

Hi, just got a new device ( iphone5 ) and I need to transfer content from my older device using iCloud. Unfortunately I missed the prompt during the setup of my new device when asked if I would like to restore iCloud back up. Verizon activated my new phone and never bothered to ask me if I wanted this option , they answered no when I really should have said yes. Now I'm trying to restore my old back up and can't since I don't have access to my computer / ITunes. Is there any other way to get this backup using wifi ? AppleTV Youtube login ... with Google account?

So, I log into you tube via my google account, and... it's not clear how to make this work on the AppleTV youtube login (so I can save favorites and such.)
I tried logging in [email protected] and this seems to work but when I try to Save a video to favorites it tells me my password has changed or the account has been deleted. Any ideas?

Yes i have the same problem.
On the YouTube site i am now able to login into YouTube with my Google Account.
on AppleTV im logging in with my YouTube account.
But when i want to Add Favourites.... it says that my password has changed... and needs to be re-entered.
Unquestionably, this is a bug on AppleTV and YouTube.
