Youtube not loading on nokia lumia 620

youtube will not load on my Nokia lumia 620. The webpage begins to load, then the bar speeds across, and it says the page has loaded, except it's still just a blank webpage. The rest of the internet is working fine, it's just youtube. Any advice is appreciated, I've tried the obvious, uninstalling, restarting the phone, deleting IE history, and I've got no idea how to fix it.

Youtube requires Flash which is not supported in Windows Phone (or any modern up to date smartphone OS) Flash for mobile was discontinued a few years back by Adobe.
You can however use any of the YouTube apps which you can find in the store like SuperTube.

  • Nokia Lumia 620 Not Turning On

For some strange reason I cannot turn on my nokia lumia 620, when I connect to charger it gets the battery blinking but not charges. What should I do?

Hello, kmahendra. Glad to know you managed to find a workaround for the issue you have. BTW, this is for a Lumia 620 device as well, correct?
Given the situation you have, it would still be best to test another battery to the device. If the issue is the same with the battery, the phone needs to be assessed physically by a technician. If you consider sending the device for repair, back up your files to avoid data loss. Go to Settings > backup.

  • Problem with the Update Nokia Lumia 620

The update was initialized on my Nokia Lumia 620 that I bought yesterday. When it started the phone was connected to WiFi. However, after 10 minutes I thought it stuck so I put the battery out and in again. But the update started again. The WiFi was still on. I waited an hour but nothing happened so again I put the battery out and in. Later the WiFi connection was shut down and the update still going. Later I tried to put the battery out and in all over again. I left the phone for the night, it lost all the battery so I plugged the charger in it and then the update started again! I have the 3G internet purchased, so when it's not on WiFi then it should be working. So my question is if the update is really going on (since 4am, that is almost 4 hours till now) or is something wrong. How long can it take on 3G in the situation I described? Will it ever end or should I go and return it to the service for them to fix it? Please help me! It's really urgent!

Update is possible thru' WiFi only.. It may take in excess of an hour for the whole update process to complete ..so once you start it (thru' WiFi) just leave it .. Don't go on removing the battery all the time ...Keep the phone on charging when you update. Additionally you may have settings-->WiFi--advanced ..and select 'Keep WiFi on when screen times out..' .
If you still get the problem visit Nokia Care to get it updated.

  • Nokia Lumia 620 won't start up

    Hello everyone!
I'm writing you this because i have a problem with my Nokia Lumia 620.
Here's the story: I received the phone from italy as a gift, the phone wasn't new because my relatives actually bought the phone for them but they didn't like it because they had to create a microsoft account to import their contacts from sim, so they sent the phone to me.
When i received it, it was like brand new, out of the box, with stikers and all.
I made a reset, a microsoft account, then imported my contacts, installed some apps, played a lot with the phone untill i drained allmost all the batery(some battery low warnings appeared) but went to recharge it before it shut off, after this i went to sleep. I was woken up in the middle of the night because the phone started to vibrate, i went to see what was happening and when i tried to unlock the phone using the side buton i got no response because the phone was shut down. This is were all the trouble started, i realised there is a problem because when i started charging the battery, the phone was still on and there wasnt any way the phone couldve run out battery. I pressed the unlock button longer to turn on the phone, no luck, the on response was a slight vibration and a glimpse of white screen. The vibration and glimpse appear when  i have the at charging battery, if i pulld out the charger it wont respond to any comand. Because the phone was bought from another country, i cant go to a nokia store here, beacause the warranty is not valid.
From what i found on the internet the problem should be the motherboard, mainboard, etc.
What should i do? Sending the phone to italy is out of the question.
Sorry for the bad english, is not my first language, neither is italian.

    take a look at this
    http://www.nokia.com/ie-en/support/product/lumia620/troubleshooting/
if the battery is completely dead, just keep the phone connected to the charger, and wait about 30 mins before trying to turn it on
and fyi, if the charger is not powerful enough, lumia phones can drain the battery even if it's connected to the charger

  • HELP - My new Nokia Lumia 620 won't boot up, even ...

I'm worried my Nokia Lumia 620 is a lemon, and the Care Centre will just keep taking it in for repair.  The reliability so far has been disappointing, especially as I was giving Nokia a try after a 10 year break, and also trying out Windows Mobile / Phone after a 6 year break.  I want to recommend it - I'm continually being asked by friends and colleagues what I think of my new phone.   Nokia will be smart to just replace it.
The details: my Nokia Lumia 620 won't boot up today (again).  It hung on boot  this morning with the Nokia Logo.  That was over 2 hours ago.  It had this problem during February, and I returned it twice for repair to the local Nokia Care Centre.  I guess I'll take it in again later today, but it just feels like a lemon handset so far.
    Timeline:
Handset purchased in local Nokia Store on Jan 29 2013 ( 7 weeks ago)
Handset gave "Exclamation-Mark-Screen-of-Death" on Feb 19 2013 (3 weeks old handset)
Local Nokia Store sent me to local Nokia Care Centre, handed in overnight "for repair"
Phone returned on Feb-20-2013 after software refresh.
Worked fine for 1 week.   Problem returned Feb 26 2013. (4 week old handset)
Nokia Care Centre "replaced motherboard" on Feb 27 2013.
Has worked fine for 3 weeks.   Now Lumia 620 won't boot this morning - no Exclamation Mark, instead it's the Nokia Logo on boot.
The handset is 7 weeks old.
Hard reset (side-button-combination) hasn't worked either.
Any advice on getting this working, repaired or replaced?

Update on the repair - it didn't work.   I returned the phone to the Yau Ma Tei Nokia Care Centre on March 20th, and was given what was termed a 'replacement' phone.   I was pretty happy.  All was well.  But two days later when I tried to make a phone call using my headphones, I noticed that only the left audio channel was working through the earphones.   I tried a second pair of earphones and the same problem.    The audio was only working through the left channel.  On a new phone.  How strange.
So was it really new?   My suspicion is that the repair centre has used old returned parts (parts they perhaps term as refurbished) - so in fact my replacement phone is my old phone assembled with old and refurbished parts.   Was it in fact a refurbished phone assembled from refurbished parts?   Frustrating when they tell me it's a replacement phone.
That was back in late March.  I posted a couple of tweets and Nokia responded.  They even phoned me to try and help.  However no offer of a new phone.  All they suggested was that I revisit the Nokia Service Centre.   For a 4th time.
That was about 6 weeks ago, and I simply haven't made the time to go to the Service Centre again.   It's hard to find the time when my last 3 visits have been so unsuccessful.
Sometimes you just get a lemon.   It happened to me once before with a different manufacturer when I was on a contract and had to live with a phone for 2 years that kept cutting out during calls.   Same problem - the manufacturer attempted to repair it, but it just never worked properly.   That was 10 years ago.  Now it's happening with my new Nokia.  Luckily I'm not on contract this time.  I've read good reviews for the Lumia 620, and overall it's a pretty decent handset in every other way.
But the issues this particular handset has been plagued with has overshadowed any positive feelings I have been having.   I'll probably be cutting my losses and changing handsets in the summer.

  • Nokia lumia 620 second simcard

hello, i got a second simcard for my nokia lumia 620. as i understand it, it should work dual simcards. i would love to use my second simcard now (i'm abroad and got a local one) - it fits but i don't know how to use it. and i can't find anything in the handbook regarding this. how do i adjust my phone settings? after rebooting the phone it still asks for my pin lock for my standard card (even if only the new card is in the phone). and when i try to connect to the cards according phone network it says "not valid". so the phone does find the network and the card is in the phone, but i can't connect (access the new second simcard). anyone?
i would be very thankful for your help with this!

As far as I know Lumia 620 is single sim device. There is no dual SIM Lumia 620. May be you have inserted you secound sim card into memory card reader?
Or are you talking about Lumia 630? This is availible as dual sim.

  • Nokia Lumia 620 Product Fault

    Hi,
I have a Nokia Lumia 620 that I brought in early Februrary from Expansys and a month later it got a broken power button. First I sent it to the Nokia service center in Canada and they said that it wasn't from Canada and they could not repair it. I can understand this. Then I sent it to Expansys USA and they had the phone for a bit and then they sent it to China. I am about to recive the phone and the power button has not been repaired because it has been demmed user damage. This is a product fault, look how many people have a broken button with the Nokia Lumia 620:

No doubt that you have already checked the obvious settings in Mobile network & Access point (don't use mine as example) and power cycled the device? You could always as last resort reset device and let it setup again:

    Are these 2 compatible

Just because you reply doesn't necessarily make that comment of yours "help".
It would appear to me you are not looking for help, you want to hear someone say you are correct. Anything else you seem to discard as irrelevant.
If you want to know what the exact specs the microsSD slot on the 810/82x or 620 are you'll need to talk to Nokia about this. Probably the best place to start would be the developer.nokia.com site or contact Nokia Care and ask for this to be escalated to the specialists who can answer it.
All anyone here can so is quote available information resources as we are all 'just' users here and not Nokia Employees. This is a user to user support forum after all, not a 'Direct to Nokia' platform.
So use the proper channels and stop being so condescending towards people trying to provide information and/or help as best they can.
We understand what you are asking, it's just that the Class10 UHS-I specs are way beyond what is required for the purpose of the SD card in a mobile phone and so it would stand to reason Nokia does not design the interface to take this spec into account, if only for the added cost to the device. Also the MicroSD 'standard' is far from that (a standard) and there is plenty of variation..
In general a regular Class 6 microSD card will be able to deal with anything you can throw at it, with room to spare, when used in the 620 so anything above that would be overkill and would only mean you are wasting money on a more expensive card that may or may not work.

  • Mp3 Volume issue Nokia Lumia 620

    Hi,
I was hoping someone could help me with this one please.
When Listening to audio on the nokia Lumia 620 via the built in radio the audio is nice and loud and I can listen to it at volume 10 through the ear phones.
However I have transfered some mp3's to the phone via the windows phone app, from Itunes and the audio volume is terrible, even at full volume I can just about hear the music. I have tested that it is not an issue with the mp3s by copying them to a HTC windows 8 phone and can listen to them perfectly.
As far as I can tell the apps are all up to date.
Does anyone have any ideas please?.
    Solved!

    Hi Csbarry
Pressing the volume down and power buttons together will not delete any data on your phone, it's more of refreshing the OS of your Nokia Lumia 620.

  • My Nokia Lumia 620 won't install new apps or updat...

    Greetings,
My nokia Lumia 620 is stuck at "pending" when I try to install new apps or update existing apps on my phone from the store. I even tried unistalling and reinstalling but still was stuck at pending. That's it no error message, no crashes. it just waits for ever and it never starts downloading
I have a nokia Lumia 920 and it works fine with the same sittings and downloads from the same Wi-Fi - What's wrong and how do I fix it?

  • Creating new folders on my Nokia Lumia 620

    1) On my Windows 7 pc I can easily create new folders at any time and then copy any webpage to any folder (via going into the Favorites tab). How can I do this with my Nokia Lumia 620?
    2) If this is not possible, is it not possible to do so on a Windows 8 pc either?
    Thanks for any info.

  • Faulty nokia lumia 620

I purchased a Nokia lumia 620 2 months ago wanting a simple smart phone. However after just ONE week the power button broke and jammed, i exchanged this for a new one and after 2months the volume button (stuck on 0 ) and the camera button are also broke and jammed! will orange let me get a new model of phone? Since I've seen other people have this manufacturing issue why are Nokia even allowed to sell this! Has anyone else had this problem with any solutions? If orange wont let me exchange model i will cancel my contract, what a bad design!

If that's your opinion then you can inform Nokia directly using the Nokia Support tab below. BTW, as this is a global forum and considering the millions of 620's already sold and being used, anything less than a few hundred or even thousand instances would not be classified as a serious issue.
In the mean time, with regards to your own phone, you should start with Orange. If they are no longer prepared to replace your phone then your next port of call would be your local Nokia Care Point, who will ascertain if the issue is due to a manufacturing defect or misuse first then followed by a resolution.
