Youtube playlists broken again?

I did a search on this and see several older lists with videos in playlists or favorites not being available in Apple TV. I have a couple playlists I regularly use that WERE working fine until the last s/w update. Now, those same playlists are missing vidoes only on Apple TV. Fine elsewhere. (Laptop, phone, etc.) Anyone else find this to be the case? Any solutions? I'm assuming it has something to do with content or encoding.

Why don't my YouTube playlists show up on Apple TV?

YouTube playlists do not show up on Apple TV. grr.
The playlists for my YouTube account (let's call it Account A) suddenly stopped showing up on Apple TV (I get a "No Content Was Found" error, and a suggestion that there's a problem with the connection to YouTube.) Oddly, the Watch Later, Favorites, Subscriptions, and History lists for this account show up just fine.
I reset and restored Apple TV. Nothing.
To test whether the problem is YouTube or Apple TV, I created some test playlists for another YouTube account I have (let's call it Account B). The new playlists in my other account do show up on Apple TV. So it seems like the problem is with Account A.
Account A has a second channel connected to it (let's call it Channel C), which I've tried over and over again to delete, thinking this might be causing the problem, but, of course, YouTube makes it nearly impossible to delete a secondary channel on a YouTube account. (If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.) But to test this theory, I created some playlists for Channel C in Account A, and they don't show up on YouTube either.
I think I managed to delete the Google+ page associated with Channel C, but it did not fix the problem.
Signed in to Account B, I also tried "liking" some of the playlists in Account A so they now show up in the playlist in Account B, but the "liked" lists don't show up on Apple TV when I'm logged in with Account B.
I'm using a Mac, the most recent Apple TV (I just bought it a few weeks ago), and whatever the most current version of YouTube is (they just changed the d*mn interface again.) I also have a cable modem (TimeWarner, ugh) and a Netgear router. The problem seemed to appear after I switched my Cisco router to the Netgear router, but this seems coincidental, and in fact the problem probably already existed but I just didn't notice until after I switched.
The whole reason I bought Apple TV was to be able to watch the YouTube videos in Account A on my television, so this is extremely frustrating, all the more so because it was working just fine, and it works for another YouTube account, but not for the one I need it to work for.
Anyone have any suggestions? The Apple team is stumped. Thank you.

There's a checkbox in iTunes for that. I don't have access right now to tell you where, but there aren't too many places to look. Just click on the iPod and poke around and you'll find it.

Youtube playlist thumbnail

I'm trying to embed a youtube playlist that also includes thumbnails, but have had very little luck. I'm using Adobe Muse to build the site. Any suggestions?

Multiple select list in Safari 8.1 is broken again

Multiple select list is broken again in iOS 8.0.* and 8.1 Safari.
Few temp solutions can be found here until apple fixes this issue again.

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Daily Show Multipass broken AGAIN! 3rd October 2011 -same issue as last week!

As happened last week, multipass is broken again! Episode available to buy, but not to download as part of multipass.
Only received last weeks episodes on Friday in one go due to problems at Apple. Looks like they haven't fixed the underlying problem.
Apple please sort it out and everyone on here please report it!!

Where can I get a 3rd party mouse pad for my HP Pavilion dv6 - left mousepad button broken again!

Broken AGAIN and just out of warranty. I had this replaced at 9 months and now it's broken again (at 15 mths) with light/moderate usage. I've seen lots of posts about this issue both on and off the HP forum. Please can you tell me where I can get a replacement mousepad that I can install myself.

The touchpad is part of the whole top cover so it is going to require a significant disassembly. The above is likely not your correct part either, but the top cover for all dv6's ought to be available on ebay for $50-80. Here is the Service Manual:

This will provide disassembly instructions and also help you locate your exact part number. Part #3 page 24. The big thing is whether you have the fingerprint reader and the color.

Internet Sharing broken again with 10.6.8 update?

I have used Internet Sharing for years. (SysPrefs/Sharing/Internet Sharing/Share your connection from [Ethernet] to computers using [Airport]). It is very useful in my large old house, where my iMac is connected by an ethernet cable to a WiFi router in another part of the house; it gives me another WiFi zone without having to buy a WiFi extender.
This seems to be a forgotten feature in the OS (forgotten by Apple, that is). Several times in the last few years, it has "broken" ie ceased to work after an OS upgrade, and only worked again after either another upgrade to the OS or to Airport. The last time, upgrading to OS 10.6.7, it still worked but had an annoying but tolerable bug which required me to switch it off then on again after a restart.
I have just upgraded to 10.6.8 and it seems to be broken again. (iPad etc can see the network, pretend to join it, but don't actually connect to the internet).
Anyone else got the same problem?

Maybe I should just go and buy another WiFi extender (they're a lot cheaper now) and stop trying to use my Mac to do this!

My wife's new(ish) MacBook Air had the wifi problem. As soon as she upgraded to 10.6.7, she lost internet connection - though wifi signal was still strong. We were hoping the new upgrade to 10.6.8 would fix the problem. It didn't. I tried everything - PRAM, disk permission repairs, etc etc. Finally, this evening, on a whim, I decided to input my old DNS settings (from when I was using the Witopia VPN) into her network settings. I have no idea why, but her connection returned immediately. I tried deleting them again to make sure it really was that, and the connection was lost. Put them back, and the internet came back. Bizarre. We are not even using Witopia anymore (we are in China, and use Asterill). Can anyone explain what's happening?

Youtube playlists will not autoplay using Firefox version 32 in normal or safe mode

I'm currently using Firefox version 32.0.2.
Recently, playlists on Youtube have ceased autoplaying (and yes, I've made sure that the icon for autoplay is enabled). This persists even with addons disabled in safe mode.
I've tested Chrome and Internet Explorer on the same PC with the same youtube playlists and cannot recreate the problem.

Creating YouTube playlists with AS3 ?

Are there any libraries for creating YouTube playlists and creating, updating and/or deleting videos within a playlist ?
I have googled and am in total dismay that nothing is showing up on how to do this from within Flex/AS3 projects.

I created a sample for the Flextras DataSorter for editing YouTube Playlists. It was a nightmare. None of the API documentation was any good and the XML packets you had to send[and the ones you got back] were nothing worth documenting.
There are throttling limits, so for big updates you need to add an artifical delay or else you'll get a bunch of errors.

I was not trying to be rude. I have cataracts and cannot see very well. So when I type I use capitals. I'm didn't mean to offend. I'm new to the web and believe that being rude comes from what you say and the words you use when speaking to someone, not how you type the words. I've visited forums where people are putting others down and swearing, but every word is typed in lower case letters. But thanks for the lesson in etiquette, I will just magnify my screen and type in the lower casing.

After Safari 7.06 update, whenever I connect to RSA Juniper Network Connect, my internet connection get disconnected. It was an issue with old Safari versions. It was fixed around 6 months back with one of Safari update. But, now it is broken again.

Youtube playlist problems

Whenever I watch my youtube playlist on Apple TV it doesn't have all the videos in the list that I have available on my iPad.
There are approx 10 missing...anyone have any ideas why they aren't showing up on Apple TV?

It would say under the video whether it's set to public. As for the other, unless you uploaded them you would have no way of knowing.

Safari + youtube playlists

Looks like the issue where youtube playlists do not progress to the next song if the tab is not focused is not uncommon. You have to click the tab for the next song to start playing.
I'm aware of workarounds (like opening youtube in a different Safari window) but do we have an actual fix or reason? Because this is a bit annoying.

Shortkey for logout now broken again since 3.5.1

We used to be able to logout from a client computer using the normal shortcut CMD-SHIFT-Q.
It sits in the bones and I quickly do this when I'm leaving a service session with a client computer
Since 3.5.1 my computer tries to log me out from my admin computer rather than logging me out from the client computer.
ARD admin should pass the logout short-cut to the client computer, not let it go to the admin computer.
It was broken in 3.2 or 3.3 and got fixed later ut now it's broken again

This occurrs any time I press the volume rocker key to mute the ring of an incoming call. After the initial time when it played an extremely brief snippet of my ringtone (factory installed "Older Phone" ringtone), it has randomly switched between the short ringtone and a electronic squeal noise.
Since I know the slightest software change can kill a seemingly unrelated feature, I'll try to be as detailed as possible. For my phone setup, it is completely stock (phone no.5 after misc. slider/screen/charger door issues, haven't had time to change anything yet) My ringtone volume is set to maximum with vibrate also on, system sounds are also set to maximum with the default tone. I have no non-app catalog programs or patches installed. I use a Touchstone back cover, although the phone was not on the charger when I noticed the issue.
The only downloaded apps on the phone are Pandora, Tip 'em!, Stop Watch, Fandango, Good Food, Mileage Monitor and gDial Pro (which has not been set up yet). With the exception of Pandora, none of these apps have been used since I received this replacement phone. They were all just automatically downloaded because my previous phone had them. I have e-mail accounts through Cox, Yahoo, and Gmail, none of which are synced to contacts, calendars, messaging or tasks. I do have my Palm profile and EAS through my work in a full sync capacity.

Youtube Playlist Problem

Ever since the new update of FireFox, Youtube playlist has been working for me.
The problem is simple. When I always click a play >Play on a youtuber's channel, it directs to a new page, HOWEVER, the playlist panel in black with all the other videos appears at first before it collapses into nothingness giving me a glitched view which can be seen in my screenshot below. I need help, thanks

Look at the side of that youtube video, the panels has glitched and it shows overlapping of the user name and other video link.

Thank you, i have found out the problem. It was proxtube that was affecting it.
