Youtube plays fine but not Facebook or other site videos, it says I am missing a plugin?
When I use Youtube the videos play fine but on Facebook and some other sights the videos will not play. I just get a message that says a plugin is missing. Everything works fine on IE. I just downloaded Mozilla last night.

Regular playlists vs smart playlist does not make a difference. What I noticed is that some videos create this behavior and some not. I created 2 videos and 2 music playlists, one with 2 songs and 2 videos (that I encoded myself with Handbrake). Another list with 2 videos and 2 songs, videos encoded with Handbrake, but that I noticed they triggered the behavior. The first playlist played fine, with no problems. The second one, created the problem. When I look at the video, it is the same type of video (bit rate, audio channels, etc...) I don't see why it would do that.
Later I will test: playing those videos in question and then selecting songs to see if they play. -
I do not like to accumulate 3rd party cookies and would simply not check the Accept 3rd Party Cookies box in Preferences. BUT in order to use my bank's web page I have to accept 3rd party cookies from a separate site that manages some of their transactions (like paying bills). This means I have to accept 3rd party cookies and then delete them by hand OR I have to check the accept box each time I use the bank's website and then uncheck it when I am done.
Thanks, but that is not what I was trying to do. I do not want to block cookies from a single site. I do not want to block all 3rd party cookies.
What I want to do is ACCEPT 3rd party cookies only from ONE site but NOT from any other site. -
Since installing ios 6 on mynipad 2 when I try to save a picture from facebook I get saved but it is not in my photos. Also on other sitesvsaving pictures get data not available.

Ive got youtube videos converted to mp3 files on my itunes, they used to play fine but since the recent update they do not play correctly. how can i fix this?
Try running these songs through MP3 Validator to see if there any issues.
If nothing else, convert them to another format such as AAC via iTunes using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Music and videos start playing fine but randomly stop and the volume bar disappears
I have an iPhone 4S and run 6.1.3. I start to play music or videos (youtube, ESPN, Netflix, any) and they start to play fine but then randomly stop. The volume bar disappears as well. But then it reappears and I can play it again. When I do so it plays about 30 seconds, sometimes less, and pauses again. I have to repeat the process. Any idea how to fix or what might be causing the problem?
Try a reset:
- hold both the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
- the iPhone will turn off(keep holding) but as soon as you see the apple logo appear release both buttons
Also make sure none of the LCI have been set off especially the one in the charging dock of the iPhone. Read the article below for help in checking this:

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Have you updated 12 to 12.1 yet? If not, please do so by using an opened project's Help Menu/Update.

2. Is problem restricted to one particular file in one particular project? What happens if you start a new project? What is the
duration and size of the project when performance is slow and freezing sets in? What are you doing in the program when this happens?
3. Using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse?
4. Does problem exist if antivirus and firewall(s) are disabled?
5. Please describe computer environment, including dating on video card/graphics card driver version. Did you install the program to the
default Local Disk C? Where are the Scratch Disks directed and how much free space there?
Lots more questions, but let us start here and then decide what next based on your reply.

MPEG4 Plays fine but exports WHITE
Okay I have been searching the web high and low for an explanation and a solution.
I have an MPEG4 video file, when I look at "properties" in quicktime it says the video track is H264. 640x360, AAC audio. The file opens and plays fine in Quicktime. It opens in compressor and the preview window shows the video just fine.
When I do an export - ANY video export -- to a different video file format (I'm trying to go to DV), it exports to a new file. The audio is there in the new file -- I can hear it fine. But the video is just WHITE. There is no video, just WHITE. It's really, really frustrating. It's the same result whether I export via compressor or directly from Quicktime.
Why would quicktime play the file fine but not export it correctly? And I can tell that it's not really processing the video because the export happens much too quckly.
Quicktime Pro 7.6.4. Mac Pro, 10.5.8
Any ideas out there?If you bought this off iTunes it is most likely DRM protected.
iTunes doesn't want you to repurpose the video. AppleMacsoft claims it can do this legally(for the price of their software)but the software is putzy and cumbersome at best. -

"Green" gets me thinking about issues with DirectX on the PC.
Have you tried the "Disable Direct3D acceleration in QuickTime" section from the following document? (iTunes uses QuickTime for video playback, so the same basic troubleshooting procedures apply.)

I do not use the function very often but AirPlay has worked fine in the past (several OS updates ago on both iPad and apple tv). The audio plays fine but no video???? Any suggestions.
interesting...... you know i tried other media and it worked fine. i was trying to play 'amazon instant video'. when you say 'blocked ... by the providor' it seems to me that Amazon would have no interest in restricting the play. is it the producer of the content that resticts the play through some form of licensing or is it apple that restricts amazon play by limiting access to technology? either way its anti-competitive.

My iPhone 4s will not switch to landscape view when streaming a video on Facebook. It works on YouTube and safari, just not Facebook. Help?
Well I deleted the Facebook app and reinstalled the latest version to try to correct the issue and it still didnt work. I had changed a bunch of settings earlier to try and fix it and it worked for the video to be landscape but as soon as I closed out of the app and re-opened it then it quit working.
