Sounds like there is an issue with your YouTube account. Contact YouTube because this isn't an Apple issue.

YouTube sign in not working on Apple TV

Hello.
The other day I wanted to go on the YouTube application on Apple TV but I wasn't signed in. I went to sign in with my normal Youtube credentials, however, it said my Username or Password was incorrect. I tried serval more times positive that both my username and password were both correct. I looked for help online and google directed me to make a 16 digit code. This was meant to solve my problem. But it hasn't. I have tried loads of codes. And now I don't know what to do!
Please Help!

In reply to the comment "You seem to be saying that the box that you have is different in some way". I'm actually not saying that at all as I have no idea what your box says and therefore can't comment.
And unless you're on the packaging design or distribution teams it would be a giant leap to presume every single box around the world is the same based on the product being the same.
As a marketing person I know companies of all sizes and shapes tailor their products to cater for individual markets. E.g. coca cola cans have different designs based on distribution location and languages used in particular countries and even the product itself can differ, although this may not be the case with Apple of course.
I'm simply describing what is on my box and I don't neccessarily mean to be abrupt however I certainly wouldn't waste my time typing on this forum to say the box says something when it actually does not.
Let me know if you can postively affect the outcome of this problem/help in someway and I'll be sure to send the image.

Premiere Elements 9 YouTube Sign In ERROR

Premiere Elements 9 Troubleshooting- "The Username And Password You Provided Do Not Match. Please Try Again Later", this appears when I attempt to sign into youtube while trying to upload a video. I accessed youtube online to double check that my userername and password are correct, and they are. I also refreshed the web sharing in PRE.

Until you can figure it out, you can always manually output a video and upload it yourself. Many people prefer this method since it often gives you a much better quality video.

C6-00 - YouTube Sign In problems after sw update t...

I've noticed a problem with signing in to YouTube.
After software upgrade when I open YouTube app and click "Sign In" I cannot sign in. The browser says Opening secure connection, I choose Yes and a blank page loads afterwards... in my previous software 11.0.0.29 it was ok.
I've tried this on other Nokia E52 and E51 and it was working OK
Apparently when the browser of C6 was updated they've screwed up this functionality.
Please fix it!

I noticed that the last firmware 20.0.42 has too many problems, me too faced the keyboard dialer problem after updating to 20.0.42 although it was working correctly in the default version 11.0.29, so we have no choice ONLY waiting for nokia till it produces a new update fixing all these problems
u can check for the problem i introduced, from home screen -> dialer -> open keyboard , and try to print bbb in my c6 it still pronting aaa and not switches to b or c and the same for all other buttons

Apple TV / YouTube Sign-In Issues

I recently made some changes to my YouTube/Google account; I removed my old YouTube Channel, and am now instead using the default Google+/YouTube channel account only.
I was able to sign-in to my "new" account just fine on Google Chrome on my Mac, my iPhone 5s and my iPad Air. But my Apple TV refuses to play nice. I have tried using all of the following combinations:
1) Username: Gmail email address, Password: main Google password
2) Username: Gmail email address, Password: generated application-specific password
3) Username: Google+ username, Password: main Google password
4) Username: Google+ username, Password: generated application-specific password
All fail with various messages: some say the username/password is incorrect, and the Gmail address ones give the "account cannot be used with YouTube" error message.
Please help!!! I use YouTube on my Apple TV literally EVERYDAY to watch subscriptions and playlists, and always add videos to Watch Later list throughout the day & then sit back in the recliner and watch them that evening. I absolutely need my YouTube/Apple TV combo back! Thanks!

I had exactly the same problem. It began a few weeks ago when I started getting a "cannot connect to YouTube" message on the (2nd Gen.) Apple TV, when attempting to view a specific video or access a subscribed-to channel (it showed the list of my subscriptions just fine, so I was still logged in).
I thought perhaps logging out and back in would work, only to find that I could not log in at all. I got the message that the account "cannot be used with AppleTV." I have two-factor authentication and tried all of the following:
1. simply generating a new app-specific password and entering that (which of course I'd have to do, since I didn't have the old one handy);
2. trying my "regular" password;
3. confirmed that I have a "channel" set up in YouTube, as I'd seen suggested (I did have it set up already, so that wasn't the problem);
4. logged out of Google+ everywhere;
5. dug up an old Google+ account not tied to anything, and without two-factor, made sure it was tied to YouTube and had a channel, and tried logging in.
None of that worked and I continued to get the same error message. I finally took the extraordinary step of performing a factory reset/restore on the ATV. When it came time to log in, I generated a new app-specific password. Worked like a charm. Super fun!

Youtube sign in problem with Ipod touch 4

Hi,
When i am trying to sign in the app Youtube on Ipod touch 4, after i enter correctly my Youtube username and password it said "U must sign in to Youtube's website to continue " . Then i click on sign in , it takes me to safari youtube website, i enter my youtube and password again. Then it just openned my account in the web but not the YouTube APP . So basically with the Youtube APP, i cant do anything with my youtube account. Can you give me some thanks what is wrong with it ??

I was having the same problem. The solution is for the user name, make it your gmail address, @gmail.com
so [email protected] should be the user name
that worked for me.

Youtube sign in problems

I can't sign in to you tube on ipad or iphone. I keep getting authentication failure password or sign in is incorrect. If I sign into a PC it works, it just seems to be on the phoe and the ipad. I've been working on it for 2 weeks can't get help from google and the apple store said it's not their problem. Very frustrated, please help.

Google 2 factor authentication and youtube sign in

I recently enabled google's 2 factor authentication and now can't view my youtube content/subscriptions via apple tv, presumably because of this. The account password has remained the same.
Is there a means to get around this?

Unfortunately, I already tried this several times prior to posting here. The system won't let me add the same account more than once, and continues to prompt me for a password multiple times for each service.

I can't sign in to YouTube from the iPhone app...

I've searched and seen a lot of people posting about this. However, nobody seems to be having the same problem as I am.
When I attempt to log in to YouTube either from the YouTube app, or from my video upload screen, it just continually pops up the YouTube sign in screen. No error message. I know I am using the correct YouTube sign in - I have verified it. I do not have 2 step authentication activated on my Google account. Why can I not sign in? I am extremely frustrated by this - all I am trying to do is upload a video I took on my iPhone 4, and I can't even get signed in to YouTube. I can get there from their mobile site, but frankly, why do I have an app if I can't use it?
Can anyone help me?

I was actually never able to "restart" the youtube app, because its a "stock" app, and they can't be deleted or restarted. I actually set up the 2-step google verification according to the advice in the previous posts, and that wasn't working so I switched it back from the verification. Then I took the ipod to school, and used it there and it worked again...I think maybe it was a problem with my WiFi at home or something..? Honestly, I was not really sure what fixed it...sorry, that's probably not super helpful for you...what exactly is the problem with your youtube app on your ipod touch?? Can't sign in...??

I can't sign into YouTube on Firefox but Safari I can on Safari.

Hey guys, when I click Sign In on YouTube the browser says redirect then sends me back to the same page (meaning it just reloads the current page and never directs me to my YouTube sign in). I noticed recently that when I use Safari I can sign in just fine so there must be something wrong with Firefox. Do you think you guys can help me?

Export as a master file FOR Youtube?

I want to export my videos for uploading to Youtube, however at the moment the file size is enormous (we're talking 6gb for a 4 minute video), which of course takes forever to upload.
I want to export it as a master file, rather than exporting it directly to youtube within FCPX, because I want to have an actual copy of the file on my computer, as well as the fact that I've been having some trouble with the youtube sign in through FCPX, so basically I've just been export in as a Master File with all the default settings for 1080p.
Anyway, what settings should I use to get a good quality video that isn't so enormous that it takes ages to upload?
Sorry, I'm pretty new to this, and kind of teaching myself as I go along.
When uploading to Youtube, it suggests uploading a different format for faster processing/uploading...
So I clicked the link to the help centre where it talked about how to encode the video. But I'm still trying to learn all this, so I'm not sure if this is something I need to do when i first start the Project, or if there are settings I should change when I export it as a Master File, or if there is something I've just missed altogether.
I'll include screen shots of Youtube's recommendations.

My suggestion: keep it simple.
The simplest way is to export a master file AND also export to youtube. There is nothing preventing you from making several exports of the same material!
(As it happens, you can also do this "double export" in one fell swoop, using destination bundles - but, again, keep it simple; you can learn that later).
Anyway, you certainly don't need Compressor. Compressor is only useful if you need something specific that FCP X can't directly provide - but that usually means an experienced user who knows his/her way around the arcane compression options - in other words, complex stuff.
If you don't want to use FCP X to export directly to youtube: just export a Master File, but instead of the default (which is ProRes, and, as Karsten explained and you acutely felt, produces massive files), choose H264. Then upload via the youtube site.

Webcam ok with skype but not youtube record

i am attempting to record a youtube training video. my webcam is on-board and my koss SB45 headset with boom mic is to be used. I use this configuration when video skyping without a htch. But under no circumstances can i go to youtube, sign in, Upload then Webcam Capture-Record. the cam will not turn on. the little window that pops says "Enable hardware accelleration" and nothing more. there are only 3 tabs at the bottom, a monitor (no eye), a mic and a cam. that's it. i've uninstalled and reinstall flashplayer plugin and webcamCentral.2.0. still no change. Where is the switch?

YouTube has flagged this audio for licencing... anyone got the specifics on whether I can use 'any' of the sound effects to make video for use on YouTube please

I'm certain that the reason Apple included the sound effectds was so legal owners of Final Cut Pro X could use them in video creation so... how do I prove that to YouTube please ?

It is not difficult to dispute with YouTube. While you dispute, they will not put ads on your material. Usually it will be resolved in your favor within 2 weeks or so.
Here are the steps.
To dispute the claim with YouTube, sign into YouTube.
Click on Video Manager (to see my videos that I have uploaded.)
Click on the Copyright notices link.
I see a link under the thumbnails which says "matched third party content". Click on this link.
Click on the link that says"I believe that this copyright claim is not valid."
Check the box that says I have a license or written permission from the proper rights holder.
Click continue.
You may get a box that enables you to explain. State that "I am licensed by Apple, Inc. to use "track name here" which is provided in the Final Cut Pro X App from Apple, Inc." Put a link to the Apple license.

Youtubeservice stoppes in PE 9

I was able to upload a movie as HD-video through the Youtubeservice in Adobe Premiere Elements 9 but this week the service stoppes after the following steps:
1) choose share
2) online
3) HD-video (the error occures even by a standard Pal-Flash for Youtube)
4) Next
After next I get a message that 'the Youtubeservice is stopping because a fault occures. The service has to shut down or will be paused'. The movie is below the 15 minutes and my Youtube-account is suitable for longer than 15 minutes. Is there a update which solves this problem?

Before I'd do an uninstall/reinstall, I would carefully check all of the settings for YouTube in PrE. Many users had major issues, when YouTube went to Google sign-in, but I do not recall any such issues recently. Still, that combined Google/YouTube sign-in caused no end to grief. This should take but a moment, but I'd go very slowly and methodically, dotting every i, and crossing every t, just to make sure that things are set properly. I would start by doing a sign-in to my YouTube account, out of PrE first, making careful notes of every entry, to be compared to the settings in PrE, in the next step.
If that does not get things working, i.e. no errors found, then an uninstall/reinstall might be useful.

Can I upload an iMovie from my New iPad to You Tube?

I am trying to take short movies with my new iPad as we travel and then post them to You Tube for our friends and family to watch. When I try to send a movie from my iPad to You Tube it won't let me log in. It takes my user name and password and when I click sign-in it just reverts back to the sign-in screen. A second question is can I send a movie rom iMovie on my iPad to the iMovie on my iMac? Thanks for your help.

Output to you tube is a built in in the current I movie, so there should be no issues. Sounds like it does not like your your YouTube sign in name and password. You might go to safari or a pc, and try to log in just to confirm the name and password are ok. Maybe resetting the YouTube name and password would trigger the update.
As respects the second question, you can transfer the movie during a normal sync, I think it is in file sharing. Otherwise, send it to your camera roll, and upload it in to iPhoto, and grab it from there.
