YouTube uplaod error Premiere Elements 12

So I've downloaded a few videos directly from my Premiere Elements 12 about 3 times to Youtube with success and now today suddenly I get an error after the video finished rendering and uploading as soon as the "transferring to Youtube" saying: "Error: Sorry, an error occur during the uploading process. Please try again later."
It's been like this all day and I can't seem to find a solution.
Also another strange thing happened where now It doesn't let me upload a video longer than 10 min after I uplaoded a 12 min one successfully then after that it restricted me. But even this doesn't matter if now it won't let me uplaod at all. Makes no sense?! Please help, thankyou!

YouTube is a bit of a moving target, and they're constantly changing what does and does not work on the site.
Have you tried just outputting your video using Publish & Share/Computer/AVCHD with the YouTube HD preset and then manually loading the video to the YouTube site? This should give you excellent results as well as its sidestepping whatever is interferring with your program/YouTube interface.

  • "No Disk" Error (premiere elements 11)

I have successfully installed Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on my PC:
         Dell XPS 8300
Intel Core i7-2600 Quad Core (3.4 GHz, 8MB Cache)
         • 1GB Radeon HD 6450 Graphics
         • 16GB DDR3 1333 RAM
         • 1TB 7,200RPM Hard Drive (2 x 500GB RAID 0)
         • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
When I open the application and click "New Project" I get the following error message:
    AdobePremiereElements.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive.  Please insert a disk into drive
         \Devices\harddisk2\DR3
I can "cancel", "try again", or "continue".  The only thing that works is to hit "cancel"  (several times).  Premiere Elements will then open, but the error message will keep recurring.   Adobe Support (Chat) has not been much help.
Anyone else come across this?  This seems to be a common error in earlier versions (version 9), but I can't seem to find any good solution to it.   HELP!!!!
UPDATE:   Just as an FYI..while it's possible (but doubtful) there is preloaded software interfering, there is no other software (or viruses) installed on this computer.

  • How did you made videos fullscreen on YouTube with adobe premiere elements 10?

    Hello,
is there a way to made videos fullscreen on YouTube with adobe premiere elements 10?
Sorry for my poor english and thank you

The black bars are most commonly caused by having Source Footage, that does not match the Project's Frame Size.
This could be a pixel x pixel issue, with say 1280 x 720 Footage in a 1920 x 1080 Project, or it could be a difference in the Pixel Aspect Ratio. That is most common in SD material, between Standard 4:3 and Widescreen 16:9, but can happen with 1440 x 1080 Anamorphic, which does not use Square Pixels, or PAR = 1.0. With most other HD material and Projects, the PAR will more likely be 1.0, or Square Pixels. It could also stem from the Export/Share settings, having a different Aspect Ratio, i.e. pixels x pixels.
This ARTICLE addresses black bars in the Program Monitor.
    Good luck,

  • Error compiling movie 'unknown error' premiere elements 11, tried every troubleshoot, what now?

I'm trying to export a video and I keep on running into this error message, which stops the export process.  I've already visited and tried the troubleshooting suggestions on this page and this page, and this page, and none of those suggestions have worked.  Here's a list of what failed:
Export in various file formats, every single one failed
I removed each asset individually and tried to export the video after each removal (100+ assets, imagine how long that took) and I got the error after every single time
I removed the front half of the video and tried exporting, still failed.
I removed the back half of the video (because if it failed if I removed the front, the problem asset should be in the back, right? nope.) and tried exporting, it still failed.
I don't have any Auto Color, Auto Contrast, Auto Levels, or Shadow/Highlight on any of my clips, although if I did, I'd try removing them.
All of my video files are the same format, so it's not a mix of formats in my timeline which is causing the problem.
I tried disabling auto-save, but it already tried to auto-save during the first 20 times I've attempted this, so the damage might already be done.
I obviously didn't use any other programs during this process
I moved all my assets to a different location on my harddrive, then reopened the project and refound the assests one by one, each of which had no problem getting into the timeline.  I tried rendering after this, and the render bar sailed along until a certain point, where it got stuck indefinitely.  I cancelled the render, which froze the program.  I had to close it and re-open the project, and re -link every asset again.  Once again there were no problems adding the assets.  I saved the project before the next render, so I wouldn't have to do this a third time, and it was a good idea I did, because the program froze again during the subsequent render.
My computer didn't go to sleep or hibernate during the first 5-10 times I tried various methods for exporting.  It has slept in some of the 10+ times I've tried it since, because I don't have the patience to sit in front of my screen and watch it fail again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.  CAN YOU TELL THAT I'M FRUSTRATED???
The first thing I noticed that was wonky with this project was when I first tried to render my sequence. The render window chugged along just fine until it got to a certain point (can't remember the %), at which point it got stuck indefinitely.  I had to cancel the render, and then render other parts of the sequence bit by bit, avoiding what I thought was the problem part.  I tried rendering the problem part, and it got stuck again, so I eventually just decided that that clip didn't need to be in this movie, so I deleted it from the timeline.  All should be good at this point, my whole timeline is green from being rendered.  But, when I tried to export the video, I started down this tourtuous path of failed exports and frustration, and now here I am, posting in the forum, hoping someone can help me out.
The problem asset (if that was the problem in the first place) isn't in the timeline any more, but I'm still having issues exporting the movie.  The fact that rendering still gets stuck after re-linking assets, and after getting rid of the first problem asset, makes me think that there is some bigger underlying issue, but I have no idea what that could be.  I followed these instructions and re-opened the project, tried to export, and still got that 'Unknown Error'.
Please assist before I put my fist through this company computer.

Thanks for your update. Let us go through it.
    You wrote
During one of my isolation tests, I stripped the timeline off all assets except clips from the same footage and I also removed that New Blue effect, and the project exported without issue.
Did you run a control which included "with the New Blue effect" in this isolated test which does not sound like the "Full Project" as suggested in what you wrote next?
    You wrote
Could multiple renders and project files be part of the problem?  I've created many, many different versions of this project to test and see where the problem is, which in turn means I've created many different render files for each different project.  If this could be part of the problem, should I keep the original project and delete all my test projects and associated render files therein?
Each of the projects should have its own name which will be applied to its files. And each project should have rendered files specific to it (for SD project whether video or still clip = DV .avi file; for HD project whether video or still clip = MPEG2.mpg file). Are you naming these different projects with distinctive names?
Have you expanded the Timeline with the -+ slider and closely inspected the track content for
    a. leftovers such a very thin vertical black lines scattered about
    b. gaps
    c. transitions, and especially audio placement
You have probably seen the following, but I will post the link just in case. I suspect you have been there and done that.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/kb/error-error-compiling-movie-render.html
Please let us know what the closer inspection of the Timeline content (as mentioned) revealed.

  • Newb: Youtube HD for Premiere Elements 4.0

Sorry instantly to demonstrate my noobiness.
I would like to export a short video so that it can be displayed on Youtube using HD. My difficulty is the amazing shallowness of my understanding.
I understand the recommended output resolution is 1280 x 720 (720p) and the format is H.264, MPEG 2 or MPEG -4
I am using Premiere Elements 4.0. It does not seem to offer H.264 resolution in 720p format. My options are H.264 1080i 25 and 30. THis output produces a file that plays the audio track but no video.
MPEG-4 format doesn't seem to be available at all. I gather I may need quicktime for that.
MPEG-2 format is available, described as "MPEG2 Multimedia Compatible" but that will not me to select 1280 x 720 resolution.
Is anyone using the PremElements Presets successfully to upload Youtube HD video?
    Help!
    Sean

    Hi Sean,
YouTube will convert any file that you upload into flv. Premiere Elements convert the timeline into flv and then uploads it to YouTube.
Upload to Youtube works very well with Premiere Elements. In case you want to try uploading HD size file you can use export setting options using SHARE>Personal Computer and select the option. Once export is done, you can upload this file to Youtube using the website.

  • Transcoding Error Premiere Elements 10

I would like to start by saying what a great forum this is, I am so glad I found it. The information here is...well, a little overwhelming at first.
I am new to elements 10,  three weeks ago. I am trying to create a slide show of mainly stills (4320x3240) and a couple of clips (1280x720). I have a blueray player so to maximize the quality of stills on the tv I would like to output to Share/Disc/AVCHD and burn to a DVD disc. I start the project with the preset of NTSC/AVCHD/1920 x 1080 because the pixel size is square as I believe my pics are. I have taken Bill Hunt's recommendations to heart and resized my pics to 1080 tall, which will make them 1440 wide. The reason I don't use the 1440 x 1080 preset is because it is not square pixels. Is this correct?
The problem I am having is once the project gets larger, 50 stills, 2 short clips, transitions, titles, etc. I end up getting a "Transcoding error" while trying to burn it to a DVD. When I try to burn a smaller project half that size, it completes fine and I have the best looking pictures on my TV. Is the transcoding error possibly caused by lack of system resources or is there something else I am doing completely wrong? My system meets and slightly exceeds the recommended specs for Premiere Elements 10.

As Steve says, Scale the Still Images, prior to Import. The quality will be better, if you use a program, like Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements. This ARTICLE goes into more detail, plus will tell you how to use Actions, and Automate To>Batch, to Scale entire folders, almost instantly.
With HD-lite material, going to SD, there are some choices, and also compromises, that will need to be made. The choice of workflow might depend on how one likes to work, and possibly on some testing.
One workflow would be to edit the HD-lite material in a Project, that matches perfectly, and then Export/Share to DV-AVI. One would then create a New Project for DV SD, Import that material into it, along with your Still Images Scaled to the DV SD Project. This leaves ALL Still Image Scaling to PS/PSE, and the quality WILL be better. The downside is that your HD-lite material will be down-rezzed, but that will have to happen somewhere, so PrE is not a bad place to do it. The Projects will also edit smoothly.
Another, and a variation on # 1 would be to follow the guidelines in this TUTORIAL on down-rezzing from HD to SD, by Jeff Bellune.
A third workflow would be to create an HD Project, that matches your Source Footage, and also to Scale the Still Images to match THAT Frame Size. Edit, as is needed, then output to DV-AVI for the SD/DVD material. Then, one would create a New Project, for DV SD, and Import that DV-AVI into it, for any touch-up, and the final authoring to DVD-Video. The downside to this method is that one would be letteing PrE do the down-rezzing of the Still Images too, and PS/PSE is much better suited.
Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

  • "No Disk" Error (premiere elements 12)

When making an Auto Movie in pre12, as soon as i click the next button having selected the theme that I want, I get (No disk in drive D:), but if I eject the empty tray and leave it open all works fine.

    Han
    It does not make sense.
The SmartSound/Sonicfire Pro 5 feature is gone in Premiere Elements 12 and has been replaced by Music Scores which is in concept like SmartSound but is not SmartSound.
I think that your happening was by chance.
Recently I had a strange No disc situation. Never had one as long as I have been working with Premiere Elements products 4 to 12 over more than 10 years.
I decided to install CONTENT for Premiere Elements 10 on Windows 7 64 bit. After all was done apparently successfully. I started to use the program and went to apply a disc menu. That is when I got hit with the No disc message. I could not get rid of it. The only thing that would allow me to continue in the disc menu location was to insert the Premiere Elements 10 CONTENT disc which seemed unreasonable since all the CONTENT could be seen saved to the computer hard drive where it was supposed to be.
I decided to restart the computer for one reason or another. Immediately after the restart, there was no problem applying the disc menu in Premiere Elements 10. I did not have to work with the Premiere Elements 10 CONTENT disc in the burner tray to get my Premiere Elements 10 disc menus applied.
This one computer before and after this incident had SmartSound programs on it related to many earlier Premiere Elements versions that are on this same computer. So, SmartSound features or files did not appear to be implicated here in this No disc matter.
So I would caution you about a jump to judgment on
but somehow still looking for those smart sound files...
Please consider if there are any alternative explanations for your results.
    Thank you.

  • Popup Error: Premiere Elements Debug Event

    Hi,
After a succesfull installation our users can start and work in Adobe Premiere Elements 7 (APE7).
But if they save there project and try to close APE7 they get a popup. (see attached Screenshot .45.jpg, dutch version, but message is something like: There is a serious problem ...etc).
APE7 crashes and when they start again, our users see the folowing popup. (see attachesd Screenshot .46.jpg)
I also attached a screenshot from a part of a ProcMon logfile
It looks if Adobe Premiere Elements doesn't work with folder redirection  (Appdata to share). In our situation we redirect users "document and settings\<user>\application data" to a networkshare (homedirectorie on a fileserver)
I tried to set the location forthe project savefolder to drive d:\, a removed the media cache to d:\ but that seems not enough.
What would you advise me to do?
    Best regards,
    a denm

This leads me to believe that you are in a networked environment, possibly in an academic institution's media lab.
Unfortunately, if you are, things will not be all that easy. Both PE and PrPro (plus its Encore authoring app) are designed around the user having full Administrator privledges and their files not being in a networked environment. One can work with simple P2P LAN's and even with media on a NAS, but a full networked environment causes major problems. Giving students full Administrative privledges also has a high potential for problems from an IT standpoint.
Adobe TS is the best course. They may have some solutions for your problem. There are also several thread on the forum on academic networked situations. In a few of these, there were good suggestions, but so much will depend on the exact networking employed.
I've file Feature Requests for more network support with these programs, even though it does not directly affect me. I see a great sales potential for Adobe to get as many copies of their editing programs into the hands of students, and the lack of full networking capabilities stands in the way. You might also wish to file a FEATURE REQUEST for this.
Now, if you are NOT networked, ignore my post.
    Good luck,

  • Transcoding error Premiere Elements 2.0

I'm having trouble with burning to a DVD. I keep on receiving a transcoding error that reports that Adobe failed to return a video frame and it's cancelling the operation.
Most of the time the burn process fails at about 42 % although the last time I tried it failed at 28%. The movie is about 77 minutes long, the hard drive has about 36 Gb free which seems adequate to me. I've been through the movie almost frame by frame, it took a long time but couldn't see anything that might cause problems although I'm no expert One thing I did notice was that there were three clips that had not been rendered and resisted all attempts, instead of a Red/green line it was grey, is this normal and could this be the problem?
I have also tried to export the movie as a AVI file and create another project but again when trying to burn I got the same transcoding error.
    Any guidance would be appreciated.
    John

    Have you tried this?
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b5f52c
Based on the information you've provided though, my first guess would be that you don't have enough free, defragmented space -- particularly if your source files are something other than DV-AVIs captured from a miniDV camcorder.

  • Compiling video error premiere elements 8

    Hi
Sorry this question has been asked before and has been given some input.
When i had first installed PE8 ( 10/08/2010 ) and created a short video into mpeg format, it had worked but since then i have not been able to 'share' in any format whatsoever.
I always end up with this message 'Error compiling movie' uknown error'
I have tried doing what was the replys to a post about updating drivers but still the same message appears.
Could it be a codec issue? Apart from that I have no ideas left on what to do to fix this problem.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply.
The first movie i created worked fine with video and mp3.
In fact i have changed the content within the timeline for my 2nd video but there are no gaps.
Am using the same files as i did before.  This time i had added stills to the video.
I have tried deleting the stills and tryed to export but same error message.
I havent installed or removed anything on my computer.
I've even gone back to my first video i try to export but to a different format but error message pops up again.

  • Premiere Elements 11 won't let me upload large youTube file?

I have a macbook pro, running OS X (version 10.8.5) w/ 8G. of memory and a 1TB HD. The video I'm trying to upload from elements is 1hr and 7 min and yes, I know the default is 15 min, but I noticed some vid's on youtube almost 2hrs or more.  So I went to youtube and discovered you have to authorize your account in order to upload larger files.  Did that successfully but elements 11 still will not let me upload my video? I keep getting the error message that I have exceeded the max upload limit for youtube.  Is that a default message that can't be change? At the present, I'm saving my video to a file on my mac and will try to upload it to youtube directly w/out using premiere. My question, is there a way to bypass this default setting or will I only be able to upload a 15 min video? I tried all settings to upload it from premeire, from the youtube flash video (lowest setting) to the 1080p HD setting.  Stil, it keeps telling me it's too big.

    FrankWhite
    Thanks for the reply.
Just in case mention...this is not Adobe. Rather user to user forum. The Premiere Elements' built in YouTube feature limit has never gone over 15 minutes. So, I see no rationale in you moving to any other version to gain an extended time advantage for the Premiere Elements feature. When you go to set up the YouTube feature in Premiere Elements, you see the limits posted and the setup fails if you use an extended time account previously setup at YouTube.
The situation has been such for years. And, it is my understanding that, even at YouTube web site, the limit is 15 minutes unless you have an extended time account there.
If you want to address this matter to Adobe, you could file one of those Adobe Feature Request Bug Report Forum.
    https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
I am not affiliated with Adobe in any way and have no insider information on this long time matter of Premiere Elements and its non use of YouTube extended time accounts.

  • Premiere Elements 10 not Uploading to YouTube

As with other threads, upload to YouTube is suddenly failing for me with "Online Services encountered an error". Since upload to YouTube is my main use for PE10 this is more than a little bit unsatisfactory. Any fixes?
    Andrew

    Andrew
We are on the same wavelength. I just saw your post in that other thread and was going to suggest that you post in this thread so that we could continue troubleshooting your YouTube issue.
When I saw your post, I immediately went to my Premiere Elements 10 Windows 7 64 bit to try for the Share/Online/YouTube, thinking it possible that the fix may have become unfixed.
Good news and bad news. I had no problems with the Premiere Elements 10 upload to YouTube from within Premiere Elements 10
(4:53 PM  Monday March 24, 2014, East Time Zone USA).
    1. With your YouTube issue, are you still getting the Online Services error message? Or has the error message changed to something else?
    2. Could you
    a. Go to Edit Menu/Preferences/Web Sharing and do a Refresh of Online Services if you have not already.
    b. If you use a router for your computer, turn it off for about 30 seconds and back on.
    c. What browser do you use? If FIrefox, clear out the Cache Web Content.....Options/Content/Network/Cache Web Content.
Did any of the above have any impact on your YouTube problem?

  • No disk error in Premiere Elements 12 - Smartsound plug-in?

I have a fresh install of Premiere Elements 12 (with 12.1 update) on a new computer and receive the error "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive E:" whenever the program is opened or closed. I can bypass this message by repeatedly clicking "cancel". Windows application logs in event viewer lists a corresponding error message "Activation context generation failed for C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 12\Plug-ins\Common\SmartSoundAdobePlugin64.prm". I confirmed that this file does not exist.
A forum search indicates that installing Smartsound resolves this no-disk error for PrE 11 and earlier but that Smartsound is no longer a feature in PrE 12:
Re: No Disk Error for Adobe Premiere Elements 12
But another other user reported that the no-disk problem went away in PrE 12 after installing Smartsound:
Re: "No Disk" Error (premiere elements 12)
And my event viewer error message indicates that PrE 12 is looking for a Smartsound plug-in which was not included in the installation. (PrE 12 was installed via Dell Digital Delivery and did not include an installation disk.)
So why is PrE 12 looking for a Smartsound plug-in if it is no longer a feature? Any suggestions for suppressing the no-disk error other than installing Smartsound?  I'm just getting started in PrE and don't need it right now.
    Thanks,
    Greg

Thank you for the advice. I tried Han's suggestion of installing Smartsound SonicFire first since it was much quicker than completely reinstalling PrE (which entails many hours of re-downloading on a DSL line for the program & cloud content).
After installing Smartsound, the "SmartSoundAdobePlugin64.prm" file did appear in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 12\Plug-ins\Common\ folder. However, it did not resolve the "No Disk" error or the application error logged in Event Viewer. The source of that error is listed as "SideBySide" and Event ID is 33. The full text of the message is as follows:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 12\Plug-ins\Common\SmartSoundAdobePlugin64.prm". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.MFC,processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type=" win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
I did a bit of research and this answer suggests that the error is the result of an incompatibility between the installed version of Microsoft Visual C++ and the version used by the program:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/event-id-33-so urce-side-by-side/ef67e34f-07b2-4d52-a807-f9f81a7c32f8?auth=1
Based on this Microsoft article, it appears that the missing C++ 2008 version 9.0.201022.8 is an IA-64 version while the 9.0.30729.x versions on my machine are x64 versions:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973552
This is all way over my head and I may leave well enough alone until I have more time to spare, given that the "no disk" error (which could even be entirely unrelated) is annoying but not crippling.
FWIW, the machine is a Dell XPS8700, Windows 8.1, 64-bit, and PrE was sold by Dell it, bundled with Photoshop Elements.

I have also got the following error message :
DW046 : following conflicting process were running, block : dynamiclinkmanager
Notice : it seems this problem is occuring since I underwent a power failure while working on a project. When I want to open an existing project I get the following message :
it seems that Premiere Elements has closed in an unexpected way during the last session. Do you want to open the previous project?
When I say YES, I save it and it comes back to the welcome menu and I cannot see this project.
I have tried to deinstall and reinstall Premiere 10 : this is impossible since I am required to deactivate dynamiclinkmanager that I cannot find.
Notice that Adobe AIR is unable to find a solution whilst it recognizes there is a problem.
    Thanks you for your help

    AT Romano,
The various links you have provided were very helpful. I could kill the dynamiclinkmanager.
It seems that it is now working.
Thank you, your reply was very quick and your advices very good

    When you get the message
it seems that Premiere Elements has closed in an unexpected way during the last session. Do you want to open the previous project?
Do you go to the last AutoSave to open that or do you go to the save location of the project file (project.prel) to open that file?
Are you getting message to close the dynamiclinkmanager so that you can move forward?
If so, please check out dynamiclinkmanager location in the following link
