Youtube videos delete my laptop audio,why? Flash Bug?

After just recently installing SoundMax audio card on my X31 (Win XPservice pack 3,Firefox latest version),
I started watching a few videos and later my audio disappeared from my laptop. I checked using Dailymotion and other sites to test my audio.
X31 was showing that SoundMax was still present at that time it hadn't disappeared. So being late I placed the X31 on sleep, following day the SoundMax had disappeared from Control Panel>Sound and Audio.
There must be a bug with the latest Flash from Adobe, am I right?

you need to check if all the drivers are intact with your laptop.
i don't think the issue is with the flash player.
is it only with you tube?

Embedded Youtube videos not working on Chrome 23 / Flash player 11.5.31.2

For the past couple of weeks, I've not been able to play any Youtube videos that appear as embedded videos on other websites. The small player appears with the still frame from the video and all the controls, but on pressing play, the video goes blank and won't play (the slider stays stuck at 0:00). Nor does the full screen button work - the player just stays where it is within the third party website. This problem has occurred across more than one website, but all sites still work in Internet Explorer.
The main Youtube site is still working.
I have tried all relevant steps here, to no avail (except increasing memory for a particular website, since not just one website is affected):

Embedded YouTube video's keep playing audio after leaving page

Hi guys,
My problem is that when I leave the page of my website playing a YouTube video, it just keeps on playing the audio. I will put a copy of my code in this message, maybe I just need to tweek it a little.
Somebody please help, this is very important for my website, thanks.

You added a couple of spaces to the Youtube code.
Change:

to:
&border=1
in two places so that it matches the code from the Youtube embed code. Or copy the code from Youtube again. The result:

Most of the videos without embedded ads have HTML5 equivalents. Firefox / flash playback problem related to the trackpad or mouse. On flash sites, e.g. YouTube, video is halting while audio is continuous; influenced by moving touchpad on MacOSX. FF only problem as plugin works correctly on Opera and other browsers.

My macbook pro still won't play youtube videos even after i installed adobe flash play. What do I do?

I don't know what to do now. Adobe flash player doesnt even open up in my dock. And on youtube the videos say " This video is currently unavailable.

Try Safari and Lion forums, then bookmark the actual MacBook Pro forum.
And maybe a url if you want it to be cecked. And try Chrome. Try Firefox. And make sure your plugins and extensiions work. Safari was updated and there were security updates. And only install from Adobe such as

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Flash player multiple times to no avail. Youtube still insists I do not have a current version.

You can use Muse's publish feature to publish your site to a temporary Adobe BusinessCatalyst site, then you can assign the URL to that site.
You can also purchase hosting from a 3rd party web hosting provider, and use FTP upload to upload your muse site to that location.

Flash Player Crashes In Internet Explorer 8&9 While Playing HD YouTube Video

Has anyone else came across this issue? While on YouTube if you try to play a video in HD, it'll play for a second and then crash. This only happens in Internet Explorer. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have tried many things and this is driving me crazy! Thanks in advence for the input.

So after 4 grueling hours of troubleshooting and trying different fixes, we finally solved the issue. Turns out that we were testing an HD YouTube video just to make sure that Flash Player was functioning without any speakers or headphones plugged in. For some reason when there is no audio device plugged in, the YouTube video starts to play regularly and the reverts to HD. As soon as it changes to HD, it'll crash. Simple as that. So, lesson learned and some advice. Always plug in an audio device. At first when I figured this out, I felt stupid. I then realized that it shouldn't matter if speakers are plugged in or not. A YouTube video should play no matter what if Flash is installed. Anyway, this issue was resolved. Thanks for the input everyone.

Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player. I recommend trying both of the links below to see how they perform. If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit as the HTML5 video link does not use Flash Player when playing. You can verify the use of HTML5 by right clicking the HTML5 video and looking for the words "About HTML5" at the bottom of the context menu.
