volume all up
...and also the worst cases:
closing all apps (for rare cases when a single app might render the sound system instable)
rebooting the iPad
So, don't get desparete: try the things in the video.
There are people who reported having forgotten an audio-bluetooth connection activated with a turned-off sound-system or speakers... or forgot Air-Play turned on... so be sure you disengage bluetooth and/or airplay.
On the 'hardware side', dirty dock connector (30 pin) can make the iPad 'think' it is connected to external audio - if so, cleaning it with a dry toothbrush can fix. Also, moisture in the headphones connector can make the iPad switch to 'headphones' even without headphones connected, making it silent: check if you can hear things with headphones plugged in - if so, try gently inserting and removing headphones a few times and check if you get sound back to iPad's speakers alone.

I know two ways: one long (and tested) and one short (whichwas not). I’ll give you the short way first:
In the finder, locate your current Facebook app file, it should be in the “Mobile Applications” folder nested in your iTunes media folder
Mark the exact name, should be something like “Facebook3500.ipa”
Delete the file
Look in the “Previous Mobile Applications”folder for the previous Facebook app file, should be something like “Facebook3440.ipa” and copy it in the parent folder (“Mobile Applications”).
Change the file name from “Facebook 3440.ipa” to “Facebook 3500.ipa” (or whatever it was in point 2).
Delete Facebook app from iPad.
Relaunch iTunes.
Sync iPad. This will probably uncheck Facebook app in iTunes (since you’ve deleted it from iPad).
In iTunes go to Apps tab, re-check Facebook.
Re-sync iPad. Facebook should be back and working.

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.

You can't. YouTube does not allow downloads. You'd have to use third-party software on your computer to do that.

Only sometimes youtube videos just stops and hangs in a middle. When I relode the safari page the same thing hapens in about 20 seconds. It is very frustrating. My wifi conection is very strong and stable, I also tried reinstaling flash player couple times but nothing helped. Please help me.

Thanks for reporting your solution to Flash lockups, which included reinstalling the Flash plugin after first doing a complete uninstall, including manual removal of leftover Flash files and folders.

Macbook is slow to load webpages and youtube videos are stopping

I just recently purchased a Macbook pro, however, its been slow to load webpages, youtube videos, etc. The youtube videos frequently stop playing and I have to reload the page. Its not the connection and I havent had the computer long enough to have to clear safari chache. WHY

Sorry to bump this, but I'm having the same issue, though it's not a poor router problem (upgraded that hoping it would fix it).
I tried the OpenDNS and it helped once, then stopped loading Netflix (Netflix, Youtube, and Facebook seem to be common problems, as well as "new" webpages that I don't go to often). If I connect directly to my Ethernet the internet works great. My iPhone connected to WiFi works great. It's just my Macbook pro and it just recently happened when I moved to my new house (I had the same ISP at an apartment and had 0 issues). Any thoughts?

If there's a bug with YouTube, the YouTube developers would have to fix it. You cannot fix other people's apps.
Try re-loafing the YouTube app - it may have been a temporary glitch.

By your use of "still", did this problem exist before OS X Server was installed? OS X Server itself has no particular linkages to video processing, beyond what OS X client provides.
Some details on the configuration might be useful. Are these videos you're having issues with stored locally in files, or are these videos received over the network and played? If the videos are local, have you tried playing the videos from a different disk? If the video files are remote, can you download the videos and play them as a test?
What software are you using to play the videos? QuickTime? QuickTime X? Does using VLC or another player work better? There are some discussions of choppy videos around the forums, too.

Yes, and if that presents any problems, you do have the You Tube application already installed on iPad. It is a native application and you can watch any You Tube video through this app.
Safari is a great webrowser. But if you want to wach any videos on iPad, find the App in the App store and you won't have any issues. For example, you could be on CNN.com through Safari and if you try to click on a video, you likely won't be able to watch it. But, if you download the CNN app from teh App Store, you'll be able to watch all CNN videos through the App. It is a really logical and safe way to see what you want to see.

How do I stop YouTube videos from stopping after 14 seconds?

For a couple of days now I've found that some, but not all, Youtube videos stop at the 14 second mark. I've also noticed that the buffering bar also stops there. I have already tried deleting my history, cache and cookies. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash. I've also tried turning off the computer and unplugging the modem for 30 seconds before rebooting. None of those things worked. I have TubeEnhancer. Is that causing this to happen? You can do that on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Looking at your list of disabled extensions, I think you might have installed a bundle of unwanted software. To clean those out, I suggest a visit to the Windows Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. If you click the "Installed on" column heading and view the list grouped by date, that may help in uncovering bundle items that you never intended to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.

Help! YouTube video keeps on playing in HD

I don't know if it's the right category to post this problem but here's the issue. Every time I launch a video on ipad, it keeps playing in HD even the option "prefer standard definition" option is ticked. My bandwidth is not fast enough for HD but its fast enough for lower quality video like 360p. Is there anyway to play it in 360p instead in 720p (HD)?

Where did you select the option "prefer standard definition"? In iTunes or YouTube? I believe you need an SD version of the video in addition to the HD version for iTunes to sync the SD version of the video to iPad. Also the iTunes setting has no impact on YouTube videos. It's only for iTunes videos.
