Youtube videos will not play even though Flash Player is current

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Flash player multiple times to no avail. Youtube still insists I do not have a current version.

I'm having the same problem. It is affecting both of my iPads and my iPhone 4S.

I was not complete clear.
Since you never changed the settings in the advanced section of iTunes preferecnes, you have to chech that your music is really in the location setted in the folders reported in the advanced section. If not you have 2 ways: reset the position of this folders or in the actual disk organisation or in the pointing on the preferences.
If you press the reset button you just give to itunes its default setting as for the position of the music files: probably this will be a good choice if you have never changed any default preference.
But before I would check the folders and see if the songs are really there

YouTube videos will not play on my IPod touch 5 after I updated the operating software. Any suggestions on how to fix? I uninstalled and reinstalled the YouTube app.

Videos will not play when Adobe Flash is installed

I have always used Adobe Flash, and never had a problem with it. When I installed the lastest release several months ago, I discovered that videos would not play at all. It's not just You Tube either; it's whatever site I visit. Six months of dealing with that was too much, so I uninstalled it, went online to look for an alternative, and guess what? The videos play just fine at MOST sites. Others say that I need to install Flash Player.
This is confusing, especially since I have no idea as to why this is happening. At the moment I do not have Flash installed, but I do need to resolve this. Any help would be appreciated, as far as ideas, recommendations etc. Thank you.

YouTube is almost finished with the transition to HTML5 (MP4). The reason thay've done this is to be accessible to phone and tablet viewers who can't use Flash. Javascript in their pages determines if a browser has Flash Player, and if it doesn't, the page will display video in HTML5. THAT's why you see what you do there. NOT ALL websites have done this though. Yahoo is working on it, as are Hulu, Dailymotion and others. NetFlix has switched to SilverLight for playback which causes its own problems if you don't have THAT installed.
Add to this mix, Microsoft released (without any "real world" testing) IE 11 almost two months ago (October 18) and it's been a nightmare to say the least. Pages/Sites don't recognize it because they screwed up some code in it, and... if a page or site can't recognize the browser, it certainly won't recognize any plug-ins it uses. Not a problem for HTML5 video which doesn't require the Player, but Facebook games, Pogo, and many other Flash sites DO require a browser and plug-in that the code recognizes.

Chatango not desplaying Icons, Most Youtube videos will not play.

I do seem to be getting the issue were FF5 will not play Youtube videos, but this is not consistent. If I go to youtube to watch them, the will state there was an error in loading the video. But if I click on a video in MSN and it takes me to youtube, then the video will play.
Also, avatar Icons on chatango are not showing up. So far these are the only two sites I've noticed a problem on.
I tried to do a lot of trouble shooting myself, such as running my antimalware bytes, cleaning my cache and cookies, checking to make sure all the plug ins I knew how to get to were up to date, and that I had the latest version of Java Script and Flash Player.
At this point...I'm at a lose as to what else it could be, or I can do. I've even re-downloaded FF5 and reinstalled it.
This is getting really annoying, because I have Chrome as well, and it keeps crashing Flash. Explorer likes to think it crashed when I close it and it restarts. None of my Browsers seem to be working correctly right now.

Videos will not play, even after updating multiple extensions

So, I've had this problem for a couple of days. I believe it has to do with the most recent up date to flash as I did not have this problem before and unfortunately I do not know how to undo what's been done. The video remains black, seemingly no matter what I do.
Here's what I've done so far:
Updated the flash player plugin
Updated Realplayer
Tried safemode, turning off add-ons
Turn on and off extensions
Deleting firefox, and all of it's data, and then reinstalling
I also troubleshooted compatibility and am running firefox on Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
So I don't know what to do any more, also, when ever I'm on the tab with the video the little loading icon next to my mouse cursor pops up and blinks rapidly, like it's desperately trying to load the video and just can't seem to find it or something.

IPAD youtube videos will not play on "base" wifi but play on "4G" wifi

This problem affects my IPAD2 IPAD3, iphone 4s, iphone 4 with same presentation. All my devices on iOS 7.0.3 .. problem started a month ago about time first upgraded to iOS7 . my ISP at home upstream of my AP is ATT uverse .. ATT is also my provider of 4G wifi via my iphone .. on my home network I use a higher end watchguard router / firewall appliance and for wifi the watchguard AP200s
While connected to my home base wifi, I attempt to play youtube video (several different ways described below) the youtube opens and clearly finds the video but screen says “Playback error Tap to retry”
Next if I turn on the hotspot from my iphone and connect all ipads etc via 4G WIFI then exact same steps result in the video loading and playing NORMALLY … ?? dns issue
Summary of troubleshooting steps so far;
-my Microsoft surface tablet connected to base wifi .. if I run same exact link / video it runs perfectly .. so clearly the base wifi is ok with surface tablet and youtube videos ..
-all wired PCs etc at on network can run youtube videos with no issues ..
-ipad - deleted youtube app and reinstalled … same problem
-ipad - reset all settings .. same problem
-ipad - deleted all cookies and data on safari .. same problem
-ipad – turned cookies to accept all cookies … same problem
-ipad – deleted youtube app and forced to run from safari browser .. same problem
-ipad – manually added 8.8.8.8 as alternative dns to the base wifi .. same problem
-iphones have same behavior but the workaround is very easy here just turn off wifi .. forces down the 4G .. that works fine but for testing purposes I connect to base and all issues mentioned above on ipads are replicated
-rebooted / power cycled ATT RG, WG router, WG AP200s … no change (did this near beginning of troubleshooting)
Any ideas?

Ok I will answer my own issue .. sort of
Partially solved the problem. Seems there is a generalized problem with firewalls and the youtube / apple.
Adding an exception to the firewall for AV scanning allowed the youtube app to start working but accessing the youtube via safari still does not work. Also after adding the exception I had to delete and reinstall the youtube app.
Again before adding this exception .. if I connected to to wifi via my ATT cellular hotspot .. both the app and the safari youtube videos played correctly.

All of a sudden my you tube videos stopped playing. Has any one else had this problem?

1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar
2. Hold the Youtube app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Re-launch the app and test
Note: If necessary close all apps in the Task Bar

I purchased the music videos directly on itunes, then imported them into my ipod. They dont play either the music or the video. It also seems the ipod temporarily stops responding while its trying to play (cant adjust volume, or go back to the menu)

Safari 6.0.5 randomly stalls on loading pages which eventually load after hitting refresh several times. Also youtube videos will not play (blank window).

For the last few days, I've been experiencing problems with Safari 6.0.5 stalling while apparently trying to load a web page. It seems to occur randomly either when manually entering a URL address or clicking a link on a loaded web page or web search results. Using the URL bar to enter a search term is also subject to the same random stalling.
The problem is usually resolved by repeated reloads of the page (or re entering the search term or manual URL address). However the frequency with which I have to do this has become really quite annoying.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows the cause/solution?
