Youtube will not work on ipod touch 3g
Hi there,
Have found loads on this issue on the internet but none that corrected my issue.
I am running on the latest software 3.1.2
Touch is only two months old and was able to connect to youtube but in the past couple of days it comes up with "cannot connect to youtube" when i try to access it.
Of course I have a wireless router and all other internet applications work but I do have some issues with "ifooty:
I have the correct date and have reset my settings but still no luck.
Can anyone help ,
Thanks all for reverting I have discovered the issue it is my internet connection as I recently changed suppliers , I checked this issue in work on the wifi connection and it worked fine, just looks like I will have to live without you tube at home on my ipod.

I recently purchased several apps that will not sync with iPod touch. Of 5 apps, three would not sync. I updated all software, checked authorizations, and reinstalled the apps -- no luck. Any ideas?
All the apps state they are compatible w/ my model iPod Touch. No restrictions are set that would prevent syncing. Seems like I might have had a similar problem a while back with one app but can't recall the solution -- it was something simple.

iTunes will not recognize my Ipod touch. It attempts to perform a recovery, but must restore first. but the restore fails, gives my 1604 code. I have switched cords, USB ports all with no success. I have a second touch (an older generation), a 160 GB Ipod & a shuffle that all work fine. Not sure where to go. One place said that I should reinstall iTunes, but wasn't sure if I would lost my library and apps. Pleas advise. Thanks.

My computer (PC) will not recognize my ipod touch anymore. When I plug it in, it says the USB device attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. I have tried attaching the same cord and ipod to a different computer and it is recognized by our mac. I have tried restarting the ipod, downloading all updates on my pc, restarting the pc, etc. Nothing has worked. Please advise.

YouTube will not work on safari for me on the ipad. Is there anyway to fix this? I can go anywhere else on the internet fine and it works on google chrome, but on safari it shows a blank screen with the bar on top after it loads, if it's even loading at all.
I do not know if it's relevant or not, but I got a message on my ipad while on safari saying that my iPhone has a virus. I looked it up and it seems it might have just been an ad from the website I was on, but it happened around the same time YouTube stopped working.You will find that using the YouTube app will provide a better viewing experience for YouTube videos.

When my iPod Touch is connected to my Mac, and I select Update to update the software of my iPod Touch, I get a message saying that my iTunes software is current, but it will not update my iPod Touch software. Is there a bug in the iPod program?

I'm using a Mac desktop and it/my itunes will not recognize my ipod touch. I have resent my ipod and have also done all the suggested things on the apple website and still it is not being recognized, I do not know what else I can do. My macbook will recognize my ipod touch but I don't want to sync it to that itunes since it is already out of date, I want to sync it to my desktop mac where I already have the latest version of itunes, and all the music I want to sync onto my ipod touch. However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar -

Have you tried resetting the dock by removing it from power? What about resetting the iPod Touch? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Mested usb port-oky windows 7 laptop with current itunes working will not reognize my ipod as a new device/hardware. I have tested usb port-ok; rebooted with and without ipod plugged - no luck. Ideas?

My Itunes will not restore my ipod touch 4g.

My ipod is currently in recovery mode, so the device connection status of the diagnostic cannot read my ipod.
