Google stopped the support of YouTube XL at June 9, 2013
Instead of Google Youtube XL you can use the link youtube.com/tv to enjoy Youtube on the TV

Sound on iPad Mini for youtube videos doesn't work

iPad mini will play youtube videos just fine, but no sound. When accessed through facebook app, video tube, no sound. When accessed through YouPlayer, sound works fine. All other system sounds/music/etc fully functional. Nothing is muted, all volume controls that I can find are up.
Any ideas?

Obviously a problem with those apps then.
You can try this:
Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings

My Embedded YouTube Video Doesn't Work in Safari

Hi everyone,
I have a YouTube video in my site that works in Firefox but does not in Safari. I have been searching everywhere for an answer. I upgraded my Flash, changed the tags, title and description of my video... still nothing. The message I get when I try to play my video is "Sorry this video is no longer available." The strange thing is, the video works in Safari when I play it through YouTube.
What is going on here? Any help is appreciated!!

We got this worked out via email.
For anyone reading this and experiencing the same problem, it turns out that the issue has to do with private YouTube videos, which won't play when embedded in a web page unless it's your video (or you have permission to view that particular video) and you happen to be logged into your YouTube account in that web browser.

I've bought a Toshiba JournE. Have it updated. But youtube need 30min to load. After loading the video does not work anyway

Native YouTube app doesn't work on iPhone 4

Videos play fine, but it will not allow me to log in, says YouTube is unavailable. Like if YouTube wanted apple users to use YouTube mobile why would apple include YouTube in their software?!
Anyone know how I can sign in to YouTube so I can like videos etc.

all you need to do is go to YouTube on a pc. While there set up a chanel this will force you to create a youtube username once you do that sign in on the app with the youtube username and your gmail password. i had the same issue and finnaly was able to figure it out. it has too do with YouTubes Server not recognizing the gmail id but only the password. so once you have your username its all good.

I just bought a C6 and at the beginning the youtube player worked perfectly.
But now it wont start anymore, its not possible to see videos neither on the player nor downloading them

After I download Adobe Flash Player, YouTube still doesn't work. How do I fix this?

I just got my MacBook, and I want to watch YouTube videos. I installed Adobe Flash Player, but when I go to the videos, YouTube says that I still need to install Adobe Flash Player. I have done this multiple times, and nothing has happened. Thanks.

With the information provided, I suggest trying the following instructions.
Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Youtube > Clear Data.
Once this has been done, try playing the videos.

Hi, i have my iMac from 2008 and it's always work but for almost the lasy year youtube doesn't work. That's wasn't a problem but. right by now, everytime i tried to watch a video the mac start to freeze and i must close all the application which are working and, sometimes, i need to shut down the entire sistem. I tried to reset safari, delete chache and cookies, whatever...but nothing. What can i do?

Since 10.2, YouTube doesn't work.

As you can see from the subject, I have the same problem as many other users. Youtube videos don't work, they look just like black squares, even when embedded on other sites. During the last couple of days, I noticed Firefox crushed when playing those flash games on Facebook, like CountryStory.
I can see the logo here -> http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and I unchecked that hardware acceleration option, I restarted the computer, but it still doesn't work on Firefox. It works on IE, but I use Firefox for anything else.
So, my computer specifics:
Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
Q9300 @ 2.50 GHz
2.50 GHz, 3,25 GB RAM
My video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, and it's up-to-date.
Firefox is 3.6.13
Hope somebody can help me, because it's such an annoying bug.

Hi, Did you Install Flash Player into Firefox? If so, look in plugins for Shockwave Flash and make sure it is Enabled.

The troubleshooting steps detailed below may help get your iPhone's display to function.
Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?Contact Apple Support.

Youtube doesn't work on https: in Firefox 20

YouTube stop working via https after I updated from Firefox 19.0.2 to 20.0.1. But via http it works fine. Also embedded YouTube doesn't work on sites that use src=https:// and works on that use src=http:// ones. Everything working fine as I roll back to 19.0.2 and stop working after re-update.
I've tested the Safe Mode — the same effect, doesn't help.
I've tested new profile — everything seems fine, YT works via http and https.
So, if there's no clear solution to my problem, is there any way to dump full 'about:config'-config to diff with default one?
