Z 10 cant get in as dont know password
Hi mky z1o gives me a message that i have tried 5 attempots to log in to device and if i reach 10 all my dta will be wiped.i have tried more attempts than 10 but it gives me the same message.
message-you have enetered an incorrect passowrd 5 times.after 10 unsuccessful attempts your device data will be erased.
It then offer up to continue enter "blackberry' but nothing happens incorrect password box is offered up.
Any ideeas?

There is absolutely know way around entering the password correctly.
Do you absolutely know your correct password?
Often users who have multiple numerals in their password will only press the ALT key for the first numeral and not those following, so for instance, if your password were "1234", you might have been pressing "Alt 1234" on the device, which makes the actual password to be "1ers".
Does that make sense? Does it sound familar to your usage?
So check the way you enter your password on the device... do you think you are entering multiple numbers but actually are not?

Have the same problem with every phone call since going to IOS7 - think my face is touching the mute on the screen but I am unaware that it has happened and keep talking until I realise the other side has hung up as they can't hear me - extremely frustrating. Then when the other side calls back, I don't hear the call as it is muted!! Is there a fix for this or a way to move the mute button??

DetailsWhat you should see on a restart is a black screen followed by a screen with the Apple (at which point you let go of the two buttons). There is no progress bar, just the Apple. The Apple will stay there for 15 seconds or so, then the "Slide to Unlock" screen will redisplay.
But, I don't think the reset will fix it for you. I just tested it, and it comes back on with the zoom still on. The only way to get it to zoom out is the tapping with the 3 fingers.
I said to double-tap....MY BAD! You need to triple-tap with three fingers!
Try that and see if it will display the zoom menu for you, or if it will zoom back out.

If the device has been used as designed, contacts would be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service and pictures taken with the device would be regularly copied off to a computer.
Failure to use the device as designed is not smart. -

The only solution is to erase the apps and purchase them through your own iTunes Store account. You have no legal right to those apps - the license is not tranferrable - and cannot in any case update them without the orginal purchaser's Apple ID.

I Have followed all the steps and still cant remove iCloud to my existing account and add to the new one, the old email account was changed a year ago and cant get that email plus the password don't work please HELP!
Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

You don't. Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them & cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. You need to purchase the app using your ID.

Easy way to erase a router's config & reload an IOS? Dont know passwords..
I've been given a couple of 3640 routers, one of them had no config and I was able to work with it. The other 3640 had some config on there and heres what I've done so far.
*Change config regsiter and booted up to access the startup config.
*Copied all data
*Whenever I do the command "copy start run" I get some weird memory dump issues (but that is besides the point) and I cant change any data or do any commands.
I want to erase the router and put a new IOS on it. I dont know any passwords how do I do this easily? Im guessing a simple config register change from within ROMON mode????
Anyone have a how to: for me????If you do the parts of password recovery that deal with accessing the router, setting the config register to 0x2142, and booting the router you will have wiped the config and kept the IOS. You do not need to do the other parts of password recovery. Once you have wiped the config and booted the router be sure to set the config register back to its normal value (probably 0x2102).
In looking at the error that you describe, this part (%AAAA-3-INVSTATE) seems to indicate that the error is generated in AAA. We do not know what is in the existing config, but I believe that it is something in the existing config that is causing your problem and not some inherent problem in the router.
Try just setting the config register to 0x2142 and booting the router and let us know if that worked.

Screen locked and dont know password
My screen locked and i have never set up password. Now i cant get my ipod to work without password.
If all of the content of your iPod is still on your computer in iTunes, you can restore the iPod in iTunes and it will erase all of the content and restore all the factory settings (including the password). Once this is done, you can sync all the content back on. If some of what's on your iPod is no longer on your computer, you will need to find that content (add from your own CDs or download songs from the iTunes store) if you still want it.

Here are the steps on how to sign out of iCloud on your iOS device.
iOS 5 or later:
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Delete the secondary account.
Tap the Back button.
Tap iCloud.
Delete the primary account.
