Z tcode but not z program

during upgrade from 4.6 to ECC i found one of my ztcode which contains program with very lenghty name and not starting with z. like one of my program named as
GPDOT3BSEM94SZEHD3V5S7177L9100
which type of the program they are????how they created such long name??

As suggested by other SDNers the program in question is generated automatically. (I think this is a report painter program)
For these programs you have to regenerate them during your upgrade & not change them amnually.

How to tell which items are in iTunes library on disc but not in program library?

I made a mistake the other night and I deleted some items from my iTunes library ... but NOT from disc.
These items are still in my 65 gig iTunes library on disc. Somewhere.
I'd like to re-add these songs. Is there any way to tell which songs in the iTunes library on disc are not in the iTunes program library?
I don't want to have to add all 65 gigs again and then remove all the duplicates

You should try dragging some files already in the library into iTunes to see what happens. I just did, and the new iTunes 10.6 seems to be ignoring them. I then made a copy of a file already in the library, and I added both it and the original by dragging and dropping. Only the new file was added. There was no warning about duplicates in either test. So you may be able to drag your whole library back into iTunes.
For when you do want to determine what files on disk aren't in the iTunes library or vice versa, here's one way to do it (if there's an easier way, I'm all ears):
Export your library as a playlist to a text file.
Use a program that can recursively list all your files on disk as full paths and save its output to a text file.
Load the into a decent text editor. I use Notepad++. Then use a regexp search/replace to tidy up the files so that both consist of one fully qualified filename per line.
Sort the files.
Diff the files and examine the differences.
I can do both 4 and 5 in Notepad++.

Cs6 trial downloaded but not in programs list.

I recently downloaded the CS6 trial version onto my Gateway 64bit system. The files ended up in my adobe programs folder, but NOT on my programs list and I have no desktop icon to launch the program. How to I get the files into my programs list and launch it?

After downloading had the installer started? For example, did you get a Try/ enter Serial number screen?
The Adobe Download Assistant prompts you for download location, and saves the installer there.
When prompted, what location had you chosen?
When you say, the folders are created in the programs folder, what files do you see inside it?
If you see only 2: one exe and another .7Z, then those are the downloaded files; Move the entire folder to your desktop and start the exe file to start the installation process.

Applet works but not through program?

I am creating an applet. When I compile my program in textmate, I get this error and the code does not run.

Program exited with status 1.But when I open the html page I created, it runs perfectly! Any ideas as to why this occurs?

Oh. I thought that was standard across all editors. At school we use TextPad and it allows you to select the html host document and run the application from the program. I am using TextMate since I am on a mac and figured it would be the same. Thank you.
One question tho, why does the window not open up to the pixel size I specified in the html host document? Does it do so on your machine? What OS and browser are you running?
It won't take that size in neither Firefox or Safari on my mac.

Can hear iTunes, but not other programs

I recently did an update to iTunes and ever since then, I can not hear sounds from other sources, such as if I go to Youtube. In the sound settings, I get that there is "audio device detected". When I try to listen to a system sound, I get a message that says "Windows can not play the sound because the sound card may be in use". But I CAN hear iTunes.
Also, I have tried a system restore to a point prior to the iTunes update, but Windows didn't recognize any changes and would not go back to the restore point. Also, in device manager, it says the sound card is working properly.
Any ideas, if iTunes caused this?

I downloaded Flash Ver 11... (latest).. I see in control panel Flash, But not in programs.

I downloaded Flash from Abobe site Ver 11.... (latest). I see Flash in control pannel (only lets me do security settings). When I go to programs, I only see plug in and Active X. I do not see Flash in programs. I downloaded the installer, and loaded program IE9 keeps asking to download Flash ( I have done this ~ 4 times. After install, screen says I have loaded OK, and see flash movement. What gives? Using WIN VISTA 32 bit. When I go to 'C' 'Program files' I do not see Flash

Flash Player is a browser add-on, not an executable program; you will not find it under Program Files.

Query working in access but not in program

Hello all,
This is a problem I've faced many a times, specially with a table with large no of fields.
I write a query in my programm, and it throws invalid argument exception.I copy the query string from the command prompt and paste it in access query and run it in access, it runs just fine.
any insights , as to why this is happening.It did happen to me before but couldnt get around to solving it that time, but this time i hope to reach to some generic solution to the problem.
any hints, suggestion , ideas would be appreciated.

Honestly: without your code, there is no way in telling what is going wrong. Where/when is the InvalidArgumentException thrown? Which method call throws that exception. Which argument is it, that you provide? Did you check the stack trace to find out where it happens? ...

MSI Afterburner (K Button Starting Process But Not Opening Program)

I just updated MSI Afterburner to version 2.3.1. and Kombustor to version 2.5.2. The issue I am having is with the K button in Afterburner. Before I updated to 2.3.1 it opened up Kombustor when clicked. Now when I click the button the system works for a second but Kombustor doesn't open, however a process named kombustor opens in the task manager. Each time I click the K another version of kombustor opens in task manager, but no windows open. I can open up Kombustor 2.5.2 by itself, and when I do open it the process in task manager is the same .exe as the one that opens through Afterburner, but this time a window opens?
Any idea on how to get Afterburner's K button to properly open Kombustor?

That version is totally outdated. Uninstall it and Kombustor. Now reinstall 3.0.0 Beta 15

Sound in source but not in Program/Preview

I have a problem with Premiere, when I watch the file in source and trim it, it plays out sound to my soundcard...
But then, when I drag it to the timeline, and plays the preview of my timeline, there is no sound. The audio meter shows that it plays sound, but no output tu the sound card.
I have a Balckmagic decklink card installed, but in the settings in Premiere I have set it to use main soundcard...

Adobe Premiere CS 5.5. I have the same settings as before I reinstalled the PC... Before it worked, i tried to reinstall Premiere today, but did'nt help...

Custome Tcode is not working in QA system but working in DEV system

We have copied QM11 tacode to ZQM11. We found this ZQM11 tcode is not working in QA system, but properly working in DEV system. When we are execute this tcode from QA system with all required input, it says
"No objects could be selected that met your selection criteria."
But when do it in DEV system it is working fine. I have done following steps to check error
1) All authorizations are good
2) I have compared E070 and E071 table to found transport done with proper way.
3) I have checked SE93, tcode condition is good.
4) SE97 -->found call transaction is QM11 for ZQM11
5) From program code level Authority check maintained properly.
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'Q_QMEL'
             ID 'QMART'    FIELD I_QMART
             ID 'TCD'      FIELD I_TCODE
             ID 'WERKS'    DUMMY.
6) Performed authorization trace to found error agains object Q_QMEL (RC =4), but in the role Q_QMEL has define with it's proper value supplied by our functional team.
7) Shows all active object in SU24 against ZQM11 are good
8) When we call tcode it has thrown the error agains Q_QMEL only
I am not able to understand why does not work this tcode in QA system, although working in DEV is good.
Please help me to resolve this issue

Bieng declared $WERKS field as DUMMY, is not relevant, so no matter its value, it will pass..
There's a catch! If even DUMMY means literally that no matter user has any value, he is still authorized but in reality for such \fields authorization check is only successful when a value ' ' or * is found in user's authorization else it errors out.
Sorry confused with programs where AUTHORITY-CHECK has ' ' coded instead of DUMMY. You are right, DUMMY specified for as field would pass authorization check with any/no value in user's authorization. Please ignore my statement

Some programs crash but not in safe mode or for guest user

Hoping that some talented and kind Mac wizard will help me solve a bizarre problem: Some but not all of my programs have started crashing immediately upon launch, but not in safe mode, nor when I log in as a guest user.
The problem began on February 5th, right after I installed an update to my OS (bringing it up to version 10.7.3), which included an update to the firmware for my computer, a Mac mini from mid-2010. The programs that began crashing upon launch *may* be those that were open at that time, but I can’t be sure. They include Adobe Reader, Picasa, Word for Mac, and a sweet little utility called uCalendarX.
Specifically what happens with, say, uCalendarX, is this: After I launch it, nothing appears on screen for a few seconds, and then comes a message that it is trying restore its windows, with a choice of whether to attempt restoring them or not. After a few more seconds comes the news that it has quit unexpectedly. The first several dozen lines of the crash log appear at the end of this posting.
So far my troubleshooting has revealed the following:
(a) When I reboot in safe mode, the programs that crash now work normally.
(b) When I boot the usual way but log on a guest user, the programs that crash now work normally.
(c) Fully emptying the trash made no difference.
(d) The problem was not solved by restoring my hard drive (via Time Machine) to its state the day before I downloaded that update to the OS and the firmware. (This was a drastic step, the intervention of last resort, and I was sure it would work. But no. Perhaps I did not go back far enough for the restoration.)
(e) Deleting the plist files and plist.lockfiles made no difference.
(f) Deleting the files for the app under Saved Application States made no difference.
(g) Disabing the user’s font cache (as happens in safe mode) made no difference.
(h) Uninstalling Adobe Reader, emptying the trash, downloading the latest version, and installing that made no difference – this latest version newly installed continues to crash (but not for a guest user, nor for me, the administrator, in safe mode).
(i ) Repairing permissions on the hard drive made no difference.
I will be mighty grateful for a solution to this perplexing, vexing problem!
B.t.w., I don’t know Unix but was able to do all those (fruitless) interventions listed above.

Thanks for thinking about my problem. I've already experimented with creating a new user, a co-administrator. The programs don't crash when that account is running, just as they don't crash when the guest-user's account runs. So it seems that the problem is limited to the default user's account, which is the one that was running when I installed the updates to the OS and the firmware. Another clue is that the programs that crash as soon as they are launched are *probably* the ones that were open at that time in that account. Yet deleting Saved Application States does not keep the programs from crashing when next launched.
So the mystery continues, but these additional facts will help with the diagnosis, I hope.
