Z1 compact not notifying me of facebook stuff
Hi, I recently got a z1 compact. My issue is that it doesnt notify me of facebook or fb messenger stuff.
When someone tags me in a post or writes on my wall the phone doesnt inform me of it, unless i actually click on the facebook app. Messengers the same it doesnt notify me at all unless i click on the app, then its there.
I have checked that the app notifications are on but still nothing happens.
Im not in stamina mode, have wifi on and roaming data on when not in wifi range.
Please can someone help? its driving me crazy.

This appears to be something that is happening to a lot of people recently and as it is only Facebook notifications that are causing this issue I would have to advise keeping an eye out for any updates to the Facebook application.

Ical 5.0.3 on 10.7.5 - how to delete invites and NOT notify sender??
I have a lot of calendar invites that come in via email regularly and I want to delete or decline them but I do NOT want to notify the sender. For example, I may have received a calendar invite from someone months ago that has recently left an organization. If i hit 'decline' ical sends an email messgae that the invite was declined - I do not want to send that email.
Have to believe I can set a flag for 'do not notify' - somewhere.
Is there a file I can edit if this version of ical doesn't make that available in preferences (I can't find it). Thanks in advance.
This is a huge problem as I receive invites from several hundred people monthly and I need too clear all this stuff out but don't icall to automatically want to send emails.
E.Solved:
1. Type chflags nohidden ~/Library/ in a Terminal window.
2. Click on the hard drive icon located on the desktop.
3. Go to Users > [username] > Library > Safari folder.
4. Delete all files except “Bookmarks.plist”.
5. Then go to Users > [username] > Library > Preferences.
6. Find com.apple.Safari.plist, com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist, and com.apple.internetconfig.plist and delete them (ignore any file you can’t find). -
"Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications" comes almost in every app that I open and it does not notify me when I got message in Whatsapp and Viber. Please help me to overcome it, it is becoming quite annoying!
Did you get any help on this? From what I can see from surfing this site, it's a BUG that no one has offered a solution to. It sometimes happens after a 'reset' and going to ITunes does not offer a way to 'set up push notifications'.

If you can access Facebook while on Wifi at home, but you are unable to access it while away running on your carrier's 2G network, I could phone your carrier. You have already completed the Cellular Data troubleshooting for the iPhone, so any limitations keeping your from connecting to Facebook over cellular will have to be answered by your carrier.

Am not able to use facebook on my Iphone 4, softwareversion:iOS7.1, also tried to access through safari and chrome that i have installed it gives an error message saying: "safari could not open the page because server stopped responding", i tried network reset, reset the whole device, rebooting , changing airplane mode rebooting nothing fix the issue, but i can access other sites and google , am using Vodafone as my carrier with 2g network, when at home able to access facebook.com through wifi in safari requesting assistance thank you

My Nokia N8 does not notify me when I have a message or a missed call. The only way I know is that the indicator light will flash but it says nothing on my home screeen so I have to go into log or inbox to check what it is notifying me of. Anyone had this problem before?

When sending messages to one of our iPhones, the wrong name of the sender appears. The phone also does not notify the receiver. This started after we purchased in iPad and attempted sending that phone an iMessage.
Hi buddy, I figured out what is wrong with that. I had the very same issue, while sending an sms via iMessage on Mountain Lion. I called the Apple guy at the Apple care support but without any luck.
At the end--at least in my case, but it could also be yours--I think I have understood what was going on. This happens when you have your Apple ID registered on more than one device. In my case, we have two iPhones--one for me and one for my wife--but with the same App Store account. So, when I sent an sms via iMessage for the Mac, the receiver was shown my wife's iPhone number.
I hope I have been clear enough, you know, explaining this in a foreing language is always painful...

My iPhone does not notify me of calls in Voice Mail. I will see that I missed a call but there are no messages in VM. Cellular data is off - only voice roaming. Suggestions?
DJTayLo, Let's get your voicemail working! I noticed you metioned that your Cellular Data is off. Visual Voicemail does need to be connected to Cellular Data in order to retreive voicemails for the iPhone. This can cause the notifications to be delayed. When you turn Cellular Data on do the notifications then show correctly? Which model iPhone do you have? We'll figure this out.

AnalyseBarcode.seq 7 KBIt's because Parameters.Socket_Data.Product.OrderNumber is a string value that is empty so it cannot be coerced to a number so the expression:
Parameters.Socket_Data.Product.OrderNumber < 8
gives the error you are seeing, but at runtime, the string is set to a number which can then be coerced to an actual number so the expression succeeds at runtime.
You can see this same issue if you create a local variable in a sequence that's a string that's empty and create statement step as follows:
Locals.string < 8
If you do, you will get the same error you are seeing. Then edit the local variable and set it to 10 and look at your expression again. The error is now gone.
You can avoid the error in the statement by either setting the string to an initial value that contains a number (e.g. 0) or change the data type of that variable to a number rather than a string.

My iphone 5 does not notify me when I get a text or incoming call anymore. It will appear on the screen, but the screen does not light up and it does not give me a tone. If the phone is open (home page or any other screen) it will give me a tone.
Turn off Do Not Disturb.

Thank you for your responses! Unfortunately, I tried resetting my preferences but it did not change the outcome. I was able to get rid of the export problem when I deleted the tabs in the formatting (Thanks, Eugene)...is there a setting a can change that would make my computer export the tabs normally (when my coworker exports the same document she does not have a problem even with the tabs...)

I just updated to OS X mountain lion and my notification widow does not have the twitter/facebook feature any way i can set it up or turn it on?

ITSG not notifying of new posts for a few day via email and RSS. Posts to threads more than 2 days old appear to be working correctly.
Forum filters do not appear to be working at all. Filtering on anything causes most posts to disappear from listing.
