Z10 BBM contacts wiped out

BBM on my z10 randomly wiped all of my contacts and history approximately 12 hours ago. I am still connected to my BB ID and everything is working, so I'm unsure what can be done to restore my history/contacts. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? This is the 2nd major BBM issue I've had since switching to the new device. On February 22nd, I also experienced the forced setup and "temporary server issue" which wouldnt let me restore the service for almost 10 hours. Disappointing delivery on the new device so far.

Have you tried removing the battery to reboot the device? I've seen that a couple of times but a battery pull has always fixed it.

Itunes 11.2.2.3 update - AVOID. contacts wiped out of all my apple products. does not sync contacts in windows.

I updated Itunes on my windows 8 laptop today (30 May 2014).
When i synced my ipads and iphone all the contacts were wiped out of the devices. Even though the contacts are intact in my Outlook folder.
I have tried everything to sync the same back.
Restoring does not help as the backup files do not have the contacts.
I do not how to download the previous version of Itunes as the updates have been happening automatically and old files are not stored locally.
Any assistance in this would be highly appreciated.

I installed 11.2.2 my ipad would not back up, so updated uppad software via wireless, asked to connect to Itunes, ipad wiped and restored (thanks again apple) installed and uninstalled itunes many times (total uninstall), freezes everytime i try to open apps, wont sync. Running windows xp, have also tried on brand new pc running windows 8 decided to try ipad there, can see apps but wont sync them, syas they are not availabale, checked folder, they are there, although in music folder? Have spent hours on line. Sorry thios is a rply cant see how to post a new?

laceyones, that doesn't sound like fun! I have seen this happen before when people share an Apple ID. I would suggest you set your sister up with her own personal Apple ID. In regards to restoring your contacts, restore your contacts from Backup Assistant Plus, if you had them backed up. You could also possibly restore your contacts from your iCloud or iTunes backup.

Contacts wiped out on iPhone

I have an Iphone 4S running 7.1.1. Just now I lost all my contacts; I have no idea why. The folder says 'no contacts'
My Favorites are all listed just as numbers, no names. Contacts are fine on my iPad Air and macBook Pro.
Any ideas what went wrong and how to get them back?

Have been going through the boards trying to find a solution but most answers are to the ios 5 update and are not working for me. I'm beginning to think that I am going to have to do them manually. HELP!!!!! Contacts wiped out by OS4 upgrade.

I upgraded to OS4 yesterday and now my contacts are completely empty. I tried to "import SIM Contacts" and there is no longer anything there. I also tried then a "Reset all settings" as suggested, and that did not help. I REALLY need those contacts back. Is there another way to retrieve them that someone can help me with?!?! Please?!?!?!?!

Are the contacts that were lost synced to address book or some other program on your mac? if so, are these contacts still in address book or some other program?
Or were the contacts only made on the phone and never synced to any mac?
Importing SIM contacts is no good to you as the contacts on the phone are not stored on the SIM card.

New OS 3gs wiped out contacts now only operate in Emergency Call mode

HELP!!! I installed the new OS on my 3gs last night. This morning I noticed all contacts wiped out. So I tried to do a restore and now I'm getting error messages in iTunes and my phone will ONLY operate in Emergency call mode. I need help PLEASE!!

Unfortunately that's where the problem started I keep getting and unknown error everytime I try to Sync up. This keeps happening after I did the restore in iTunes. I've turned off the phone, logged out of itunes and I keep getting the same error about error -9812

Over 1100+ BBM Contacts PIN Missing when upgrading from 9780 to Z10

Please help, I've lost over 1100 BBM Contacts, when upgrading using the Blackberry User ID, and when I reload them on my old 9780, it's not there anymore, these contacts are so important, I collected them for sales for over a year's period, very market specific and high net worth individuals which are very hard to come by.
now I only got 75 contacts on my Z10
Chronologies
At the start, there was 12 categories consisting each 100 contacts on my 9780.
First I signed in with my blackberry id on my new Z10 and transferring data from the 9780 using Blackberry Link.
and then it doesnt work, there's only 75 contacts on my z10 (I've used a dakota with the blackberry id before which has BBM 7 installed, and then switched to iPhone when the Dakota was missing, I'm guessing the 75 contacts is from when I used the Dakota)
and then I wipe out my Z10 with factory reset, I installed BBM 7 on my 9780 in the hope to restore my contacts when it auto updates my blackberry ID.
again I login with BB ID to my Z10, still got 75 contacts on my Z10, I wipe it clean again.
then I decided I wanted to revert to an older version of BBM and use local backup on my 9780, so I deleted my BBM 7 from my 9780... and reinstalled it from the Blackberry World...
And then there was no contacts on my 9780 except for the 75 contacts.
Is there any way I can restore my 1100 BBM Contacts? I've always set back up remotely when using my 9780 with BBM 6.2

recent upgrade I lost all my contacts, I only had icloud for find my phone. My son backs his contacts up to my id, so when the upgrade happen it wipped out my contacts. I had been doing backups on my computer when I plug it in. But the problem is that it overlays the previous backup and after the upgrade it wiped out my phone contacts. So now I lost them and can not recover them. You need a more robust backup for IPhone.... I can not use the cloud because of my work will not let me. I have confidential information or access to it on my phone. I do not like each time I upgrade I lose my contacts and then I can't recover them because the backup runs again and overlays it. Should be a way to get increamental backups at point and time and not overlay everything. So frustrating with my upgrades and constantly losing my contacts. Very insufficent.

I think you can solve your problems by removing your AppleID email address from BOTH the Messages setting on your iPhone and the iMessages settings on your Mac.
On iPhone:
Settings > Messages > iMessage > Dissabled
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > touch the "(i)" < touch "Remove This Email"
On Mac:
Open "Messages" application
Click "Messages menu > Preferences
Click "Accounts"
Select your AppleID account
Under the "You can be reached for messages at" settings, uncheck your AppleID email address and your phone number
Then uncheck the "Enable this account" setting
And lastly, ask all of your friends with iPhones to delete all iMessage conversations (blue bubbles) in their entirety.
To test, send a friend a new text using their phone number (not their email address) and watch the color of the bubble. If it's green then you are using SMS.

I tried syncing to the compluter on itunes and that didn't help, and I tried calling AT&T and that didn't help. They said to make an appt. with Apple and hopefully they could help. There are no contacts on or in iTunes. iTunes does not store contacts. iTunes can serve as the sync conduit to sync contacts between your iPhone and a supported address book app on your computer. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
Certainly you don't depend on an iPhone or any cell phone alone for such important data which can be lost or stolen, damaged beyond repair, or there can be a hardware or software problem preventing access to the contacts.

Go to settings do a reset when reset is done you will need to enter your Wireless key for your router. Then go to software updates and download new update 8.0.2 That help me. Bsydd uk

IMac and iPad sync with cloud no problems, iTouch with OSi4.2.1 is now wiped out, how do I sync contacts and mail?

I am not a happy mac user at the moment. I have a new ipad OSi 5.0 works fine with my two Lion systems. I have an iPod touch with OSi 4.2.1 I was trying to sync my calender, mail and contacts. It did the mail and calender but it wiped out my contacts. I not only want them back, I want them synced with the other systems. I should not have to buy a new touch to get this to work!
I would be happy to upgrade the OSi if it was an option!

You can't actually delete an iCloud account but you can remove it by signing out at System Preferences>iCloud if it is the promary account, or in Mail, Contacts & Calendars if the secondary, and then juste ignore it.
The Blackeberry can only sync with data held under 'On My Mac'. iCloud can only sync with data under 'iCloud'.
When you set up iCloud your calendars and contacts were moved to the iCloud server. If you want to use Blackberry you will have to move them back to 'On My Mac' and not sync with iCloud: it's one or the other.
To move calendars, follow the second set of numbered instructions here:

To move contacts, File>Export as vCard when you have selected all your contacts, then delete the contacts under iCloud, make 'On My Mac' the default and reimport the vCard.
