Z10 Blackberry not connected to Link

My Blackberry link will not connect to my BB Z10 after I downloaded the new updated software 1.1.1.37. Worked before. Does not recognized any devise is connected. I wanted to connect my outlook calendar but it did not download the calendar either.
Fixes so far; I updated my phone from 10.1.0. 273 to 10.1.0.4181. Upgraded Link again to 1.1.1.41. Restarted both.  It is not the the issue in my device manager, as I checked that. Connected with UBS cable as it is getting power.
I wonder what it is?
CB

There is also a new version of Link available this week.. download, install and try it.
Link updated to v1.1.1.41 (Windows OS)

  • BlackBerry Z10 3G not connecting Automatically

Hi, I recently purchased Z10 and i am using BB Services from the provider. I noticed a strange problem that Z10 fails to connect to 3G when i go out from office or home. in both places i have Wifi and Z10 connects to it as soon as i enter to the coverage area. When i go out, it normally connects to the 3G from the provider. Sometimes it doesnt. it shows small 'h' in the signal status with full coverage. I believe Captial H must be the 3G coverage with full speed. When i try to access the mails i realized that there is no connection when it is 'h' in the signal status. at the same spot, i restarted my Z10 and it connects to 3G with capital H in the signal status. So it needs restarts to connect to the 3G whenever its signal changed to 'h'. Are there anyone facing such issues? please help

  • Blackberry not connecting to the internet

For the past 24 hours or so, my blackberry has not been able to connect to the internet (I can't use my browser, I have not been getting my emails, I can't use any of the applications that require the internet connection). I tried removing my battery to reset it, but that didn't solve the problem.
    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hi there!
What does your signal indicator say? Not knowing your carrier, I don't know the right question to ask...but for me, on VZW, I must have 1XEV (all upper case) or things aren't correct. What does your say (EDGE, 2G, 3G, etc...just below the signal strength bars)?
If you don't have all upper case, then you need to contact your carrier as upper case is required for full functions. Lower case (1xev) would mean the BB sees the network, but is not connected -- and your carrier is in control of that. Without a full network, none of the other recommendations will work.
If you have upper case, then try these things:
    Re-register HRT
Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > BBKey (it does not matter which line is highlighted) > Register Now
    Resend Service Books:
    http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB02830
You say you've done the batt-pull...did you do it exactly like this?
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Give those things a try and let us know.
    Best!

  • Z10 Not connecting to Link

    I really need help please.
I am unable to Sync my Z10 device using link.
Once connected to USB it reads the device fine. A couple of second in to the Sync process the device is gone and Link showing unable to connect to device.
I am also unable to view or see any files/folders from my Z10 on my computer file browser.
I am using Windows & at the moment. This al started a couple weeks ago when I updated my link software to the new version and also did my Z10 devise OS update.

    Hello LenMyb.
Another question, since your Z10 upgraded to the latest version of the software, went for several days.
They need to go to control panel then to device manager and network adapters
What we look for is if you see the BlackBerry Controller does not have a problem.
They need to go to control panel, device manager, network adapters and look to be installed or to remove it to reinstall.

  • Blackberry not connected to internet service

    Hello there!
I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 and I am on the network Orange UK. I currently pay 5 pound a month for it. Its currently active but i'm not able to surf the browser, use Blackberry Messenger and Facebook etc.
I have GPRS in capital letters but I just seem to not able to receive any data access. I have run the diagnostics on the mobile network settings. Blackberry registration is yes but the connected to blackberry is no.
If anyone could shed some light on my options that would be a great help!
    Many Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB):
    1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
    2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your carrier for formal support as they control the services that are available to you.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Green ethernet short reach result in port not connecting(no Link)

    Hi
I noticed problem with connection of a computer.
Same connection had worked without a problem before.
DHCP failed due to no connection resulting in windows7 assigning a IP address, no network
When inserting RJ45 the Green link led turned on for a brief moment.
Only got a 100Mbit FD connection after some jugglinng with rj45 in both ends.
In case of  oxid building over nigth
The cable is more than 10 meters.
A fluke network tester had problem connecting to ports with a 1 m cable.
This usually means autoneg problem or low voltage.
When I turned off green ethernet/short reach  for the switch(sg300-20) and  I got a 1000Mbit FD without a problem.
I have previously noted that the voltage on the transmitter from the switch is on the low side using a Fluke network tester.
I got around 0.5 V and I prefer much higher.
I guess turning green features on and trying to use a longer cable is to stretch the luck  a tad to much.
    /Per

Thanks for the suggestions JMVP. I checked all the emacs on the network that could connect to the internet and they had the same settings as the emac server. I also performed the terminal command like you suggested and that did not work either.
What I ended up doing was using the Apple USB Ethernet adapter and some 3rd party drivers to get the emac server online. It's not really solving the problem of the port, but it's a quick fix for now.
Mahalo for everyone's help! If you guys think of anything else, please reply!

  • My gmail keeps saying its not connected on my Blackberry Z10

Recently thegmail on my Z10 has stopped the gmail connection - it does not allow emails through and when I check the systems button it tells me that gmail is not connected . sometimes it says there is no internet access when there is , other times it does not give any reason.
I tried turning the phone off and on and occasionally it starts working but not often. It seems worse than ever now since I downloaded the Blackberry update to my phone yeaterday.
Please help because if I cannot access my emails the Blackberry is not fit for purpose.

    Hello
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app (or otherwise be notified)
    2) Reboot
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your configurations for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
    Good luck!

  • Blackberry Z10 is not booting

I am getting the following error while reloding software using Blackberry link "An error has occurred while downloading the BlackBerry® Desktop Software. Please try again.". Please help me to solve this problem.

Your Z10 is not booting, is that the root issue?
Do you see any red LED at the top right?
Try this, please, connect your Z10 to the wall outlet charger.
Leave it connected a couple hours to charge fully.
Then, LEAVE it connected to the charger and remove the battery and reinsert...
What happens on screen and with the LED?

  • Inconsistant Wi-Fi connection between Link & Z10

I cannot get BlackBerry Link to consistently connect to my Z10. After looking for ways to get it to connect last night I uninstalled/reinstalled Link but without making a connection, left the Z10 on charge overnight and this morning it's connected. However, after going to work and leaving the home Wi-Fi, now I'm back it's not connecting again. I have verified that the Z10 is on the network and plugged into a power source and I know that there are items to sync.
This is my 2nd Z10, the first one I had aways appeared in Link as being connected on the Wi-Fi, I don't recall changing any settings in the Z10 or Link to make this happen?
Have I missed something in Link to get it to scan the network for connected devices, any other suggestions?

    Hey highstrike,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
Are you able to transfer files through USB?  Also have you tried doing the Wi-Fi synchronization on a different computer?
We ultimately might need to gather logs from BlackBerry Link to find the exact error problem. I would suggest contacting your network service provider and ask to be transffered to BlackBerry so we can gather logs.
I look forward to your reply.
    Cheers.

  • BlackBerry Curve 8520 BIS not connected

    Hi,
I got a BlackBerry Curve 8520 at work and for some reason my BIS is not working, it says not connected and I cannot manage to fix it. The below is what I did so far.
    1. Verified with my carrier (MTEL.BG) that I have all necessary data serivices enabled.
    2. Restarted the handheld a couple of times (battery pull and waited 30 secs).
    3. Resed to factory settings.
Tried to register my device using Host Routing Tables (the table is empty) but nothinh happen.
Called Tech support and they attempted to register my devide without success. They said that probably my handheld have a defect and to replace it.
Somehow I believe that either my carrier or me are missing something and this must be fixable.
    Any ideas?
EDIT: My phone signal is always edge but I noticed that workmates (with BIS working) have EDGE instead.
    Thanks in advance!

Since this is "at work", is it a BES-level BB? If so, then you will need to check with your BES admins...it is possible for them to block BIS services via IT Policy.
    Cabeza2000 wrote:

That is very indicative. You should receive one message from your carrier when you register the HRT. If not received, then no other things will work. So this must be resolved first.
I suggest, as above, that you talk to your BES admins.
    Good luck!

  • Bluetooth Set Up But Not Connected Blackberry vCards

Problem: I'm trying to send vCards to my new Blackberry Pearl 8120, but cannot get the mac to send the file to the Bluetooth phone.
    1. Bluetooth connectivity IS turned on in Sharing Preferences.
    2. When I run "Set Up Bluetooth Device" it finds the phone, no problem.
But in Bluetooth preferences it lists the phone as "Discoverable" and "Paired" but "not connected."
The only time I've gotten a green light for "connected" is when the set-up was running.
    Help!
How do I send vCards to the phone - I DO NOT want to type all this stuff over again, not, in this day and age, should I have to.
Seriously - I've seen other posts on similar subjects all unanswered - Mac Support, where are you?
