Z10 Contacts problems

Hy, I have a Z10 and I have the following problem: if I save the phone numbers with country code I can see the sms coming from people from my agenda (the phone shows the name from the agenda) and I receive calls from that numbers without country code (the phone doesn't shows me the name from the agenda); if I save phone numbers without country code I can see the name of the people that are calling me but the sms are coming from the number with country code in front (the phone doesn't shows the name of the person that sent me the sms). Please help me to see calls and sms that are coming from people included in my agenda. Dan Pitigoi

Unfortunately, if you integrate your Facebook account you will get your contacts downloaded to your device. Thats just the way it works so that you can send FB messages directly from the Hub.
The only way to remove them is to remove the FB or Skype account from your device. You can still access FB using the browser and the FB mobile site.

    Does this occur with all pictures and were these pictures taken on the device? Can you post a screenshot of the quality difference from the picture as it displays normally vs under Call Display?

    I need your help with my Blackberry Z10 contacts. when i received a call i can't see the caller ID only if i remove the country code but this is not a solution please help me to solve this problem.
    My software version 10.0.10.85 and my provider Zain Jordan. 

    I would check your area code rules(in Phone app, swipe top down , settings, slect smart dialing. .. Also would call your provider to see if they have a solution, if not have them open a ticket and raise it to Blackberry.

  • I'm having contacts problems. I just updated my iPhone 4S iOS to 6.0.1. And after that, I started having Contacts problems. My contact list is disappearing automatically, and I have to Import SIM everytime, to bring the contacts back.

    It all started after updating my software to iOS 6.0.1. Contact problems, disappearing automatically, and I have to IMPORT SIM everytime when it happens, to bring my contacts back. And this is happening more when I'm using Whatsapp application. Every two hours using Whatsapp, my contact list is dissapearing, I'm seeing only numbers. I thought it was an Whatsapp problem, but after that, when I go into my Phone's contact list, I can see nothing ! Empty ! So I guess it's a software problem or something. Please help. Thank you.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

  • Contact problems

    Hello,
    I have a BlackBerry 9300 and i have contact problems with my phone.
    I tried to sync my contacts with Funambol but, when the sync is done, I can't read or delete my contacts. My BB's OS version is 5.0.
    So, I upgraded my BB to 6.0, then I didn't have this problem anymore.
    Can somebody explain me why I have this problem. I' m a presales Engineer at a Frensh ISP, and we want to provide our customers a sync solution with Funambol, but all our BBs are on 5.0.

    Yes! It keeps changing the contact pics! Hate that. I have one set and the phone decides to switch to a Facebook pic. Linking SHOULD be clever, but the way BlackBerry does it, it's annoying.

  • Contact problems with 920

    I just got a review 920 from Nokia, and i have a contacts problem.
    I was under the impression that contacts were automatically stored in the linked Hotmail account, and this seems to be the case because all my Lumia 800 contacts are listed when i go to my account in the web browser. But, when i put that account into my 920, none of the contacts appeared. So i then added my Google account, which brought most of them down, then Facebook, then linked them together and hid my Facebook friends from showing. All working fine - annoying that they weren't pulled immediately from Hotmail, but they're there now.
    However, i rebooted the phone, and when i opened People, they were all unlinked and Facebook contacts were showing again. OBviously i don't want to be fixing this on every reboot, so is there something i'm not doing correctly? I never had this problem on my Lumia 800.

    No sorry, it brought all my Google contacts, but those represent most of my overall contacts - the rest are in Hotmail.
    In people > settings > filter, Hotmail is ticked, Facebook is not. But my Facebook contacts are all displaying, and everything is unlinked after i rebooted. And my Hotmail contacts just won't download, even though it should automatically. So this is a major pain.

    Yes, the Clear History command accessible via the Develop Menu is exactly what I want to be accessible programmatically. I didn't realize that was already implemented in Lightroom proper - just need a function now in the SDK to do it. - Thanks Ian, for pointing that out.

  • Transfer Z10 contacts to Q10, link does not copy everything.

    I sued the Blackberry link to trasnfer the Z10 data to the Q10 but quite a few peoples numbers just show up with out their name.  Does anyone know what the problem is?  I have tried everything and I am tired.  I just want my Q10 to work like the Z10.
    Any help would be appreciated.  All the data and apps transferred fine, contacts seem to be a problem.  Could it be contacts that had "links" made?

    i did use the latest Link, and upgraded Q10 to the latest OS available, but stil it says there is no device detected, please try to ensure that the device is on and connected.... this happen after the device is detected by Link and i press restore ...
    i gave hope on BlackBerry, what kind of company who releases products which is unstable unreliable (BB10) bugs everywhere, even the Link software is annoying didn't it occur to them thay MAYBE we wanna switch from Z10 to Q10 and MAYBE wanna switch back to Z10 and without loosing any of important data we have, ohhh not to mention, open chats also gone on every attempt switching devices...
    i'm back on OS7.1 devices now, i think if this company (RIM) keeps delivering products and no support at all like this, we are all gonna stop buying it right? they are basically sending away the old customers who needs the reliability of  BlackBerry as a smartphone to supports our jobs and bussiness, we don't care about games or even **bleep**ty apps on BB world, WE JUST WANT OUR DATA SAFE ON EACH TRANSFER OF DEVICES, AND PLEASE WHERE IS THE PROTECT FOR BB10 USERS?

    Some days ago I bought blackberry z10,  but when I try to save contact of my friend in my mobile. When I save contact in my mobile ( contact saving prossureis ok haven't problem) but when i find  that contact  in my contact book  in my mobile but that contact does not save in my mobile.  So please give me solution of it what I have to do for it.

    I understand that the contacts are not saving on the device but are saving in the SIM Card? Or are they not saving at all?

  • Z10 connection Problem

    Hi, my one week old Z10 Model STL100-2 loses connection every 8-10 minutes. Anyhow it reconnects after 1 minute but it makes me lose calls and socks during surfing. I already tried restarting, resetting, moving the sim and Updating nothing worked so far. My carrier is Vodafone Germany and my Software Version is 10.0.10.99.

    Sorry, mistype, meant to say SIM swap... swap for another SIM card.
    SIM cards can be faulty, and good ones can go bad. And this is normally a simple troubleshooting to swap the card.
    You might also observe if you see this issue in several different locations (at work, or home) while on WiFi and off. There could be a tower issue in your geographic area that has problems.

  • Z10 Notification Problem

    I am having problems with the notification on the Z10.  It does not ring on email. text, BBM or calendar events?  If I cycle power it will come back but only for a short period.  It didn't seem to be a problem until I started to add customized ring tones to contacts and added a bluetooth headset?  Not sure if this had anything to do with this problem.  Has anyone else had this experience?  Any fixes?

    UPDATE - Couldnt figure it out and still not sure if hardware or software issue. I did however exchange the phone for a new unit yesterday and so far all is good.  I am testing a theory and at this point HAVE NOT setup any bluetooth devices/connections, just using my headphones. Gonna give it another 48 hours before I proceed to pair up my HS-700 BB Bluetooth wich is the only thing I did differently with the first device.
    It would help to know what devices you guys have connected to your Z10, if your having the same issue.

  • BlackBerry Z10 - Contacts Management

    Dear Sir/Madam, Greetings.
    I've recently migrated from BB OS 7 to BB OS 10. I'm facing the following inconvenience while using BB Z10 (the same were the problems while using BB Q10 and BB Q5). 
    1- The contacts are getting duplicated. I've enabled my emails and Social Media contacts synchronization.
    2- Some of the contact have gone missing and I don't know how to recover them.
    3- In OS 7, there was an option to save two mobile numbers. Under the tags, MOBILE 1 and MOBILE 2. If some one calls from MOBILE 2 (previously saved in my contacts), I don't see the name when the there is an incoming call.
    3- I'm unable to sync my contact with MS OUTLOOK from my BB Z10. 
    4- How can I delete all of my contacts? (Not manually, one by one).
    I'm looking forward to hear from you as early as possible. Your quick and kind response is requested and will be highly appreciated.

    1. Are these duplicated contacts being added from different sources? (eg. email accounts, social networking accounts) If so, you may need to make sure they have been linked.     2. Were the contacts you are missing associated with one particular email, social networking account or application? If so, can you please verify that that account has been added to your BlackBerry 10 smartphone?
    3. To add another phone number field for your contacts, when adding or editing a contact, press the Add Field icon on the bottom of the screen and choose Phone Number. You can then specify which type of phone number you wish to add (eg. mobile, work or home).
    4. Can you please provide more detail on what happens when you try to synchronize your contacts with Microsoft Outlook. Can you provide any error messages you receive in full?

  • Z10 - keytone problem (durind diall the number)

    Hello,
    I have problem with a very loud keytone during diall number. I tried to disable these sounds, I've looked everywhere. unfortunately, without effectively. The only way is changing the profile to sillent but then I do not have even vibration alarm...
    When I compare two Z10 phones I noted that the second phone is a lot quieter during diall number.
    In second BB Z10 dialtones was very quiet and subtle. My phone sounds like a horn... It is not possible to subtly select / enter a phone number without paying attention.
    Please help me, how to distable this crazy tones? 
    my model is - Z10 - RFH121LW
    maybe it's some kind of hadrware problem?

  • Two different conversations from same contact - Problem

    Hi..
    I have a weird problem guys. Ive always used a 3GS, and never faced this issue before.
    Ive bought a new brand iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.2 and problem is that when i create a new SMS message and send it to a contact, a new conversation appears, as usual.
    But when that contact answers that same message, another conversation appears with the same contact over the first one.
    This does not happen with all my contacts, only a few. I dont know if this is happening because of their carrier or what.
    If i continue writing on the conversation "started" by my contact then, theres no problem at all.
    The problem is that my new started conversation is different from the one started by my contact.
    I must say that some of this contacts have only one number registered in my iphone so i dont think its an issue with numbers.
    Im not using imessage, and also these people does not have idevices, so its not an imessage problem.
    Im posting a picture for you to understand. I couldnt find anything related to this that happened to another person.
    I dont know if its iOS related or what because i used only one version of iOS till now.
    Please i need answers. Thanks in advanced!

    Does not matter how many user groups are there - the only requirement you need to fulfil is the portal user id of these users should be exactly same (spelling) with their user id in the backend CRM systems. Then your basis administrator can easily import the verify.der certificate from portal in to the CRM system (for both clients) and have the SSO working for both.
    Now create two roles - not one - one each for each client. Create two system objects connecting to CRM system's two clients, and create two iViews for each client. Add these iViews individually to seperate roles. Assign the first role to first group of users and second role to second group. If the SSO is configured correctly I dont see any issues here.
    If you dont have all the userids for these two groups in the backend then probably you can use two userids in these two clients - and then do the user mapping between the groups and these two users. But better approach should be using logon tickets only.
