Z10 not answering incoming calls

I have a weird new issue with my z10 (my only issue so far). When an incoming call happens, the screen goes to the PHONE app and freezes there. I cannot do anything to answer the call. Then when the person leaves me a voicemail, I can't get the dialpad to appear to put in my voicemail password. The screen is still frozen on the PHONE app page. I can close that app but the call remains open and if I click on the call (at the bottom left of the screen), it simply goes back to the PHONE app page where I can't press on anything or do anything except swipe up to close the app.

My customer is facing problem for incoming calls in uc560 fxo port.They have 12 PSTN lines which is connected to UC system.System is configured with Auto-Attendant also. almost all days they are facing this major issue of incoming call is not getting answered by UC560 and caller can hear the line is ringing.While the time of this problem I can see some of the FXO port status LED is UP and not disconnecting even if no one is on call also.Once remove the cable from the FXO port and connect it back the problem will solve for time being.What will be the reason for this issue of line getting held.Is there any configuration needs to change in FXO module? Thank you provoding the proper documentation .
On the system side I made the change by keeping companding type from a-law to u-law and enabled battery reverse.This setting works fine for last three days and now again the customer is facing the same problem of FXO port get held and incoming calls are just ringing and system is not answering even.
How to get proper solution for this issue????

OK. Well, that's a pretty ancient OS level...indeed, I don't think that's an OS version at all, but rather the "Software Release". Can you check again please?Article ID: KB23393 How to find the model number and OS version on a BlackBerry smartphoneFurther interesting is that you say you updated the software...strange that something so old would be an update, but I do not know what versions VZW has on their approved list, but that version is definitely quite old...maybe 25 or so updates behind what is truly current from BB. There were many more 10.2.1 releases, then 10.2.2, then 10.3.0, then 10.3.1, and now 10.3.2...each with several versions (at the 4th octet) within. Did you check, in the phone settings, the "Call Forwarding" items to make sure that none of those are set? Failing all of this, the only thing I could recommend is a clean OS reload, and to an OS level that is much more current. If the behavior continues after, then I'd say it's back to VZW to look even deeper into their system. Good luck!

2811(NM-8AM) does not answers incoming call from PC

We are planning to setup an out of band management connectivity, in our test setup we have a Cisco 2811 ISR (with IOS 12.4(9)T5 ) with NM-8AM (Analog modem module) installed.
Test Setup:
1. One Analog line (PSTN) connected to PC via built-in modem
2. Second Analog line (PSTN) connected to Cisco 2811 (NM-8AM) terminated on the analog modem module
3. Both the analog lines are working fine.
Test Scenario:
1. The router should accept the incoming call from PC. And from the PC we should be able to telnet into the router via dial up connectivity (Out of band)

2. With the above configuration, the router is not able to answer the incoming call from the PC.
3. And from the PC we are able to dial to a PSTN number at the router side, PC gives a proper dial tone and once the number is dialed, the call is landed on the other side (router end) and it rings continuously. But, the router does not answer this incoming. The analog line at the router end is terminated on async interface 1/0.
As I am new to dialup connectivity with NM-8AM, Could some please suggest the proper configuration in our router configuration OR Are missing any commands?
Any links/references would be of great help.

I guess I'm having exactly the same setup. The integrated modem on the other end does pick up the call but soon disconnect after displaying "Waiting for carrier".

yeah, that's pretty strange. i suggest to try soft reset first and then if it's still showing the same behavior. do a hard reset. that should help. however if it's still acting strange, you call the palm tech support hotline. 1-877-426-3777. they will help you with your sprint treo pro.

Can't switch over to answer incoming calls on my white 4s

I am having difficulty click over to answer calls or even hanging up calls. I have to press the button constantly to get it to work. By then, I have lost the call. My sister has an iPhone 4s black and she is having the same issue. I wasn't having that problem when I had the 4 with the new update but I am having an issue now!

I have the same problem with my new droid incredible. I've taken the battery out and restarted several times. The scenario is that my phone is in my pocket, someone calls, it prompts me to slide the bar up or down to answer or ignore......then i get a completely unresponsive screen. It will not answer my call.
This is definitely unacceptable. I can't have a phone that doesn't answer calls. This has happened a dozen times in the past 3 weeks.

IPhone 5s is not receiving incoming calls

Hi everyone,
I am having problems with receiving incoming calls after I got the 5s. Sometimes, it didn't even ring, just went straight to voice mail even though the signal was strong. Sometimes they have to call me up to 8 - 10 times for the phone to ring once and the other calls will appear as missed calls. Does anyone experience the same problem with the 5s? Should I bring it to the apple store for them to take a look?

Yes the ringtone works. I know you are trying to help however I am fairly tech savvy and have eliminated all basic user defined settings that could cause the issue. The issue is not that there is no sound the issue is that there is no call incoming notification at all. The call does not connect to my Boone to even make it ring and display as a missed call

No phone icon to answer incoming calls with text message

When I have an incoming call, I do not get the small telephone icon on the bottom right of the screen, so I have no access to options such as answer with text message. What can be done to activate this?

You search your iPhone for the Phone app and put it back there.
Or tap in Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen layout button

BB will not Display Incoming Calls Contact Info

Hi there,
I am a new user to the Black Berry world, and have encountered a problem I hope can be fixed.
I have 84 contacts in my Adress Book in my Black Berry 8900, all with 10 digit phone numbers linked to each.
I do not pay for caller ID through Rogers Canada (Just to let you know).
The problem I am having is that, when one of my contacts call me, even though I have there phone number in my contact list their name or picture does not appear. I simply get a pop up saying Incoming Call Unknown Number...
I've done some searching online and found that in some other black berries people had this fixed by turning off their content protection in secruity>General settings> Content Protection.
This however did not work for my phone.
I have had a Sony Ericsson W580i which was capable of doing this simple feature from over a year ago and was on the Rogers service for that phone too.
I just got off the phone with Rogers and they are claiming that without Caller ID it is impossible to do this simple feature on a Black Berry.
Hope I can have my issue solved here!

Well, unless I'm missing it, none of those posts referred to not having the CallerID service provisioned on the line...rather, they seemed to be discussing getting callerID to display from contacts in the device address book versus the SIM. Personally, I have no use for my SIM...I'm on VZW, though...not sure if other devices or other carriers can handle a BB with no SIM. Probably not.
Occam's Razor nearly always applies when troubleshooting technology issues!

My skype to go number does not take incoming calls

No matter what phone you call from (U.S. landline, various cell carriers, U.K.) you get a message "You have reached a non-working number. Announcement: 14 Switch 1, 8 dash 3."
I have plenty of credit in my account, and can make outgoing calls. But neither my computer when signed in or my stand alone skype phone (IPEVO) when signed in take incoming calls. Do I blame Microsoft?
Either way, it would be nice if someone could help me trouble shoot so we could receive calls again.

A SkypeToGo # is the # you call to set up STG calls to your contacts. It's not designed to receive inbound calls which is why you are receiving that message.
To receive inbound calls you require a Skype OnLine #.
TIME ZONE - US EASTERN. LOCATION - PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA.
I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

Phone does not receive incoming calls

Please help. Verizon can't seem to. My phone does not receive 90% of its incoming calls or messages. I have been told to delete all of my messages and call logs- no use. I have tried removing the battery and resetting the phone. I did make sure the phone was not in "do not disturb" mood- it is not. People who call me say that it doesn't ring, just goes straight to voice mail even though the phone is on. Very frustrating problem as my 6 year old phone before seemed to give me better service. I feel like a child who is only allowed to make outgoing calls! Please help. All suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Check the Call Forwarding section. There are two options to select. One says Forward All Calls and the other says Forward Unanswered Calls. Make sure Forward All Calls is not selected. That would cause all calls to go to the number specified which may be your voicemail. To get there from the home screen click the Phone icon > push the option button (left of the trackball) > click options > click Call Forwarding.
