Z10 options are less than 9860

Hi just upgraded handset from Blackberry 9860 to Z10. I loved the 9860 but eventually two of the buttons stopped working. One of the most noticeable things about the Z10 compared to 9860 is there seems to be a lot less 'options' on the Z10 for each facility. The 9860 had many more option settings but the 'Settings' in Z10 are limited. One of the things I miss most is the Reduced keyboard layout feature for portrait virtual touchscreen keyboard which had 2 letters on each key. It made texting much easier. The Z10 doesn't have this option. Also, can you change the functionality of the side button key (currently for voice) and change it to e.g. camera? - and also can you change the home screen notifications so that as well as telling you there is a new sms text message, it also tells you who it's from without having to swipe right into the hub every time you want to read the text? For example each contact could have coloured notifications or symbols that are easily recognised?

The volume keys will activate the Camera.

Hi guys,
I'm using CR XI R2.
I've got a report with a bar chart displaying the top 10 delays for peices of equipment. It works great but I have a display issue when there are less than 10 delays.
For instance, on my top 10 chart for a certain day, there are only 2 delays and it stretches the columns to take up the entire chart. I would like them to display as if there were 10 delays, ie have a fixed width.
Is there a way to enforce this?

How can I get my stereo to play music videos from my Ipod Nano? It comes up with the message "This device not supported". Strangely my Iphone IS recognised. The stereo, Ipod, and Iphone are less than 4 months old. Any suggestions welcome!

Check with the theater system vendor and see if their system is compatible with the Nano. The resolution on the Nano may be too low for the system.

And also when purchasing creates the PO getting similar message to a particular user.

How to know where these users were maintained.

How can I get recordings that are less than 96 kbps onto my iPhone if I am using iTunes Match?

I am using iTunes Match but it won't upload any files that are recorded at less than 96 kbps. I have recordings from several classes that I am taking online that I need to listen to on my iPad and iPhone. How can I get them on my devices? Do I just have to turn Match off and do it manually like before? Or is there a way to change the recording level in GarageBand?

I found the answer. Just double click on the recording in iTunes and select Create AAC Version. Then select Update iTunes Match under the Store tab. The recordings will now show up and play on your other devices.

The ear phones carry the same warranty as the iPhone. They're still in warranty. Bring them in to Apple for evaluation and if they are deemed defective they will be replaced free of charge.

Can I get a replacement set of EarPods since they are less than a year old, and the wires are shorting inside? (No receipt as it was a gift.)

I emailed Apple Support about this, but I have not gotten an email back. It has been at least a few weeks. Should I just take them into the mall store? In their case if I can find it? I wouldn't want them to think I was stealing them though, since I wasn't gifted a receipt. The rubber part by the input jack has rubbed off, and the part where the right headphone wire (with the volume adjuster) connects to the top of the part that compines the wires, pulls up exposing the wires. Is it considered abuse if I just use them normally and the materials used to make the item *****? (Their headphones have always had problems.)

My Aperture 3 library menu shows me that some photos, which are high resolution professional pictures, are less than One Mb file size. Are the full size masters held elsewhere, and if so how do I get to them ? You've guessed I,m a newbie - please help.

Are you looking at these sizes within Aperture using the metadata view or inspecting them outside using the Finder and Show Package Contents?
I am wondering how you are importing the pictures from your camera? When you import from your camera, the right side of your display window will have a lot of options that you can select to grab your images from the camera.
Does your camera shoot RAW+JPEG? If so, you may not be importing them correctly and only picking up the JPEGS. You can import them so they stay together or separate them. The master images are all at the Project Level whereas the views you see in Albums for example are aliases that point back to your Project.

A few weeks ago I upgraded my speed on my ISP from 30Mbps down and 4Mbps Up to 50Mbps down and 8Mbps up. I used to have a WRT54G Linskys router which gave me great speeds on my ipads, iphone, Apple TV and both windows based computers. The other day I switched the Linskys out for an new AirPort Extreme. I Set it up and the speeds on all my devices were constant around 35 down and 8 up. I left the default settings on the AirPort Extreme. Then a few days ago I set up the security for my router, WPA2- Personal. Checked the speeds and my computers, ipads are running great but now my iphones are doing constantly for the last 3 days 1Mbps down and 8Mpbs up. So last night I tuned off my security and than the iphone was back to normal speeds. I'm pretty much confused now. Any ideas? Seems like the security setting are doing something here.

RIPped DVDs are less than 1GB/hr

iMovie HD files are ~13GB/hr. I can rip a 2 hour DVD movie with a file size of 1-1.5GB in size. The DVD movie is much higher quality and larger in screen size. After reading numerous threads about file size here, why are the iMovie HD files so large???
Seems like there should be an H.264 shrink machine included.
Haven't tried this yet, but couldn't I just burn my 'project' to a DVD, then rip it? It'd be smaller then.

DV (.dv) is about 13 GB per hour. HD DV is about 5 to eight times larger.
New DVD players will be soon common place but now are still quite pricey. And your Mac can't even burn HD DVD's.
DV doesn't care about file size as no one watches them on a computer. They are shrunk to MPEG-2 format when burned to DVD.
Just "export" your iMovie Project and use the "Expert Settings" option to add more compression. Why would you use a "rip" of a DVD format if the file is your own?

Does anyone know the authorized repair centers in Dubai for iPhones. Etisalat uses Technocare which are less than useless.

I dropped by iPhone 4S two days after buying it, and would therefore like to get the damaged screen repaired at the authorized service center.
I took it to Etisalat (the carrier where I bought it) and explained clearly that I am aware that this kind of damage is not covered by warranty, and that I will pay for the repairs.
They took the device, two weeks later it was returned un-fixed with a message saying "Physical damage is not covered by warranty".
I resubmited the device, this time writing "Please quote for replacing the damage screen at my own expense. I am FULLY aware this is not covered by warranty".
Two weeks later...<drum-roll> the phone is back un-fixed with a message saying "Screen physically broken, not covered by warranty"
So if anyone reading this has any suggestion on where / how to get this phone repaired without voiding the warranty please let me know. Clearly the carrier (or their service center Technocare) are clueless.

The pages you suggested point to the local carriers as the only authorized service centers.
The problem with Etisalat is that they outsourced that service to another company called Technocare.
That company sent the phone back twice (for the reasons mentioned above) and suggested that I have it fixed at a third party, which I am refusing to do since that will void my warranty. Additionally, they are refusing to give me any thing in writing to that affect.

I can't download tv shows or rented movies. My iPad indicates that I have 1.3 GB available and even though the downloads are less than that, the movies and tv shows will not download and the message I get says I don't have enough available storage.

Also, I bought additional storage but it shows up in iCloud and does not alleviate the need for additional storage for videos. What can I do to get additional storage to download rented movies and tv shows?

In General you need 2 to 3 times the Space of the Download File size.
If you are getting the Not Enough Space message... you will need to Delete items to create sufficent space

ODI converts my numbers that are less than one to ZERO

hi all,
somehow ODI is rounding down/ up my number values.
a field in my source table has 0.0435 as it value, when I check the same record in the target table, the value is to 0
a field in my source table with 3.356 is set to 3 in the target table
I cannot find a setting or something that I should turn on/ off so that this doesn't happen.

ODI creates all NUMBER colums as NUMBER(22) and I think this could be the problem and when I look in the BIUSER.C$_0PREPCALLS_TEST table the COST values in there are already rounded off/ down, so I think this is where the problem lies.
I think I should change the LKM so that it creates the 'Work Table' columns with the same datatypes as the source table.

I have a list of 1000 numbers, how do I find how many are less than 8?

A table with a Header Row and a Footer Row.
Formula in Footer Cell A8 (or A1001)
=COUNTIF(A,"<8")
Make sure that the values are formatted as Number or Automatic, and not Text .
