Hi, I have just updated our blackberry Q10 and Z30 to new firmware, which is fantastic! I point out a problem, probably a small software bug.When I turn on the Blackberry reboot is really slow and spend a few minutes before I was prompted to enter the PIN code of the SIM card.The problem is the pin code of the SIM card: If you take this option, restart will be as fast as before! I hope that will be soon released an update that resolves this problem.Thank You Hello.

Camera problems after updating 8100 Firmware to v4.5

Hi All
This is a known issue to me as I update all our work handsets with Blackberry firmware for the company I work for.
After updating the firmware on several handsets to the latest 4.5 version of the Blackberry 8100 there is a problem with the camera.
When you are in view mode and outside (even whilst overcast) the screen goes white as if the aperture for the lens is open wide.
Even when you take the picture the result is whiteness everywhere.

Both of these pictures were taken indoors with just flourescent lights on.
However if I return the firmware to a lower level the problem no longer exists.
I have tried changing the white Balance settings on the handset and no matter which setting I put it on the same results occure.
I was wondering if there is a patch or do I have to wait for the next version for a bug fix?

Problem after updating to Firmware 2.2.1

Hi.
I am having a huge problem with my iPhone, I have just updated my iPhone to 2.2.1 when I had problems with the SMS because I could not even type anything as "N" kept pressing Enter but I am not touching Enter, so I had to reset and restore it with 2.2.1.
After restoring and syncing the iPhone with my Songs, Videos, Pictures, etc... my iPhone prompted that my iPhone is activated so I dismissed the message, and slided the 'slide to unlock' and got to the Home Menu, this message about the:
*Edit Home Screen*
*To rearrange icons, touch and hold any icon until it starts to wiggle, then drag icons to desired locations.*
*Drag an icon to the far right to create additional Home screens.*
*Press the Home button when done.*
I got this prompted up, so I tried to dismiss it, but I couldn't even dismiss it, I can't even press the 'Dismiss' button.
I restored the iPhone again, it is still not working ... what should I do?
Please help me to let me follow easily.

If there is a protective case or film on the iPhone, try testing without it.

If the issue persists, the iPhone may need hardware repair. Make a reservation to have a Genius at a local Apple retail store take a look at it or call AppleCare.

Problems after updating to firmware 3.0

Hi all,
On wednesday I had updated to version 3.0 for my iPod touch 2G. I could see comparing to other touch 2G (v 2.2.1) that WIFI connection is very slow into YouTube, Safari, AppStore and all apps that uses WIFI connection.
When I look at Setup -> General -> Information I could see my MAC Address so, problems that have other people on forums is not my problem.
Do Anyone have a solution? or I have to wait to another firmware update.

There are a couple of things you can do:
1. Reboot your router
2. Reset your network settings
3. Under the settings for the network you are connected to, change your proxy settings to Auto.
WiFi isn't really slower under 3.0 (at least not on my network) so try those things out.

Problem after update the firmware

I have Imac isight 20inch. After the imac update the new firmware, the apple screen is black. Althought, I can hear the sound of fan working, the white ligh, but nothing is on screen. Anybody know about that problem? Any solution will be appreciate!

Nokia 6500 slide problem after updated to firmware...

Hi, I have recently updated my nokia 6500 slide with the latest firmware version 9.40. I realise that after the upgrade, my phone encounters problem reading the SD memory card. It happens intermittently, sometimes you see, sometimes you don't. Initially I thought it was due to my memory card but after replacing it with a new one, problem still occurs.

It looks like something on your system caused the updater to crash.
Unfortunately your only option for that model is to take it to a nokia care point for repair. Tere's nothing else that you can do for it.

N82 battery problem after update to firmware 30.0....

I Have my n82 since August and after the update the battery live it´s only for one day. Any idea why?
PS. Before the update the battery live was normal.

here are the test. If i play N-Gage non stop on v30, n v20 firmware. On v30 firmware the battery after 1 hours n 30 odd mins it will say battery low then battery bar will go backup to 3 bars lol. then after 20 more mins it will die out. Where as v20 i can play ngage non stop for about nearly 3 hours. Do remember ngage games with sound n display brightness is at the lowest. Both on each n82.
What I have found...
V31 - Battery not good
V30 - Battrey acts weird saying battery low then it goes back up to 3 bars lol. mysterious charging lol
V20 - Battery just great
V11 - Battery rubbish

Yesterday I upgraded my N82 to firmware 30.0.019
Now I have a problem with the browser.
Actually all page links are displayed blank (without their title).
Any idea?

Actually it's just what you said. I have installed the quran application from the Nokia website in the same day that I upgraded the firmware. Now I removed the application and the browser is working well.

Bro, you don't have to uninstall Quran application, just do this :
-download the new Quran application (no more font problem in nokia default browser, they solved it)
OR
-copy all fonts in z:\resources\Fonts to c:\resources\Fonts (create the folder if it doesn't exist) and then reboot your phone (note: your phone must hacked, so the C drive is writable)

Problem after update 10.5.5 and coolbook

Hi, i have a very big problem after update tp 10.5.5 in my macbook air.
i do the update with coolbook active.... and when restart... the system dont pass over 800mhz at 50ºC and all the system go very slow.
i tried to active again coolbook, restart, but coolbook dont work....
so now i have that problem.... my 1,8 macbook air dont pass over 800 mhz...
what can i do??

I'm not familiar with Coolbook, so can't really offer any help there but, have you tried disabling on removing Coolbook to see how your Air runs?
If the Air runs ok without Coolbook installed, there's your problem, if it still runs at a max of 800Mhz, contact Apple.

System has slowed down considerably after updates from Apple. Is SyncServer the culprit?

I use MacBook with preinstalled OS Leopard since April 2009. I have also regulalry updated my computer system using the Software Update application. However, since my last update on 12th Aug 2011, I have noticed that my system has slowed down. There is long pause between every character I type, delay in switching applications, battery dries out quicker, slow response to every command.
I have started facing this problem after updating following software like iTunes 10.4, Safari 5.0.6, Migration Assistant Update for MAC OS Leopard & Quick Time 7.7 from Software Updater. Although, my OS is still leopard.
I noticed on the Activity Monitor that syncserver is using majority of my RAM and reappers even if I stop the process. Some of its subprocess like AddressBookSync also appears and consumes lot of memory. Is this the problem? Though, I never noticed earlier what size it consumed.
I use Microsoft Office suite for Mac and have also checked and deselected all sync services. Yet, the Process (PID 305) continues to appear in Activity Monitor.
I am no techie, and would appreciate quick help to resolve this issue.

I was just about to write the same problem, but I don't have VMware; my laptop is late 2008 was running Snow Leopard (uptodate version).
I've scientific softwares so probably would require a clean re-installation of ML. I MUST MENTION HERE that those software which were written for PPC will NOT work on ML. Just found out that one of my important softwares version won't work on ML; need $500 to upgrade that software .
Therefore, I'd also want to know how can I go back to SL.
I'll let you know how clean re-installation has worked.

I found the following information that helped me.....
Program errors occur when software conflicts arise due to an updated operating system. You can resolve these errors when you also update the driver software that causes the conflict or when you update the operating system. Program errors can also occur because of a damaged Photoshop preference file, or if there is a problem with a phone or internet connection. The Apple Disk Utility fixes file system errors that can also cause program errors.
Error "Could not complete your request..." or "Could not create a new document..." (Photoshop CS2 on Mac OS X v10.4)
Issue
Adobe Photoshop CS2 returns one of the following error messages:
"Could not complete your request because of a program error" when you try to open a file.
"Could not create a new document because of a program error" when you try to create a new file.
Solution 1:
Install the most recent update to Mac OS.
Solution 2:
Re-create your preferences files.
1. Hold CommandOptionShift when you start Photoshop.
2. Click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Solution 3:
Disconnect your Internet connection.
To disconnect your Internet connection, do one of the following:
If you are connected to the Internet via a telephone modem, then disconnect from the modem.
If you are connected to the Internet via cable modem or DSL, then disconnect the ethernet cable from your computer.
Solution 4:
Use a disk repair utility.

The one that fixed it for me was solution 6 -- re-creating my printers

Iphone 5 back camera problem after update to IOS 8. Focus doesn't work on back camera!

My device is Iphone 5 64gb IOS 8.
I have problem after update to IOS 8. When i run camera.. I hear some scratch inside my phone. And focus of back camera doesn't work.
1. How can i fix it?
2. Or how to rollback to IOS 7+ ?
3. Should i come to app store with this problem?

I'm having this same problem too. Worked fine prior to iOS update. I contacted Verizon this morning who advised that this is a known issue. They suggested I backup my device, and perform a factory data reset. When prompted to update to iOS 8 again, re-installation has been known to resolve the issue. With all the problems with iOS 8, camera, and overall device slowing, I might just wait for a follow on SW turn.

I would like to know before updating mine.

My 3G kept freezing after iSO 4.2.. and after reading the forums I updated both my Itunes and software to iOS 4.3.1, now I've lost my notes, contacts, calender entries and so far in the last ten minutes it's turned off and restarted itself and sync'd continually about 5 times.
So basically I'm still where I was before only more cranky. In addition, I live in Australia and there are no Genius places here, there is no support from Apple unless you pay for it even by an email, you basically end up fending for yourself under a supposed warranty that isn't worth the paper its printed on.
It you haven't already guessed, I'm more than a little ****** off.
If I'd known how much trouble this was going to be, I don't think I would have spent the $400 odd dollars to buy it.
If its not right by the weekend I'm taking it back to the shop I bought it.

Keypad is slow when typing after update?

why is it that after updating my phone to ios7 my keypad is incredibly slow when recognising touch and showing the typed words?
I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem after updating their phone/ipod too and if there is any way to fix it.
its incredibly frustrating as I have to wait around 10 seconds before a sentence is typed up fully (its completely unresponsive then suddenly the whole thing appears) and if I need to add a number, comma, questionmark, etc it can take forever before I am able to do so. None of my friends who have updated have had the same problem but then they all have the iphone 5 (I have the iphone4)
any advise is extremely appriciated, thanks very much!

Although it has not happened to me, there are two solutions that seem to work to other people
1.- Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
2.- Go to Settings > iCloud > turn off Documents and Data
