Z10 reminders on calender not working!!!

This is the second time this has happened to me... but this time the reminders I had set on my calendar did not alarm and I missed an exam because I woke up late! Where the hell did all my reminders go!?! Geezz! Blackberry.... u need to do something about this! STAT!

iOS 5
Tap Settings > iCloud. Make sure Reminders is switched to ON.

Reminders App does not work on Yosemite with two iCloud accounts.

The Reminders App does not work on Yosemite (10.10.1) with two iCloud accounts. It seems like when there are two iCloud accounts connected in Yosemite (10.10.1) the plist file for Reminders disappears.
I have tried restarting Reminders; restarting the mac; starting the mac in recovery mode to repair the disk and disk permissions; and starting the mac in recovery mode and reinstalling OSX.

Yes sharing Reminders list works. The problem is, I have one shared iCloud account with a colleague (shared calendar, Reminders and email). It makes it easier to run our business with a single shared iCloud account...I know it's not the typical usage.

Calendar reminders (notifications) still NOT working, even after 602 update.....

So, Verizon Wireless released the 602 update to the Gingerbread OS for the Droid X, and the calendar reminder popups (notifications) are still NOT working properly.
This is VERY frustrating, as I use these notifications (reminder pop ups) for everything from business related (meetings, etc) to personal (when to take medicines, etc).
It's also VERY frustrating because BEFORE Gingerbread, when the Droid X ran Froyo, there was NOT a problem with the calendar and its reminders.
I would assume that there are MANY, MANY people being affected by this issue...and I wonder why Verizon hasn't "put the heat" on Google to FIX this issue which is clearly related to the Android OS, more specifically, Gingerbread.
I used to like the Droid X very much, but now I'm counting the days until I can get an iPhone. At least you know what you're getting, and won't have an update "break" functions of the phone.
So, Verizon, if you're listening... PLEASE get this calendar notification problem FIXED.

I'm the original poster of this topic. And let me tell you the steps that I went through to try to get this resolved, and then I'll let you know the ultimate solution that I wound up doing and am happy about (but am NOT happy about Verizon & Motorola).
1) updated DroidX to latest 602 update.
2) went into admin partition and deleted cache
still did not work
3) went into admin partition and did hard reset (complete restore) from inside the admin partition
Still did not get calendar reminders to work.
4) went into normal phone and accessed "Restore Phone to Factory Specs" from the Privacy menu in settings. This caused the phone to do a similar hard reset as in step 3, except it also ran the beginning software (welcome to your Droid, we now have to activate your phone, etc).
Calendar reminders did not work. (REMEMBER... when I say they did not work, I mean that the reminders would go off EVENTUALLY , but anywhere from 30mins AFTER the appointment to literally HOURS AFTER the appointment).
5) Created a COMPLETELY NEW AND DIFFERENT calendar at Google under a DIFFERENT screen name/account. Configured DroidX to completely forget the original calendar and to start using the NEW one.
Reminders still did NOT work properly.
6) Once again, tried hard resets.
NOPE. Still did NOT work.
7) CALLED Verizon Wireless and described my problem and they pretty much didn't/couldn't help and said they would "send a report to the engineering team" about the problem.
And HERE is the thing that REALLY BURNED ME UP about this WHOLE ENTIRE DEBACLE..... my DroidX worked 100% correctly BEFORE the Gingerbread upgrade to the Android OS. When it was running Froyo (previous OS), every single calendar reminder on my original calendar worked every single time, on time, every time. BUT... AFTER Gingerbread, it just didn't work. (Don't get me started with the phantom powering on of the phone after it was powered off problem that STILL exists after the 602 upgrade).
SO.......... what did I eventually do??? Well, by this time, I was eligible for early upgrade at upgrading pricing and switched to the iPhone4 (I didn't want the 4S). AND YOU KNOW WHAT??? Using the ORIGINAL GOOGLE calendar that I used before all the above stuff happened, my reminders on the iPhone4 work all the time, every time. These include appointments that I made 8 months ago to new ones that I make every day. And for all of them, the iPhone4 sets the reminder chime off EXACTLY when I want it to.
Now, I realize that this doesn't address the problem for you, Ganamide (who wrote above), but for me, I finally got to the point where I had missed critical appointments with clients and couldn't wait around for the DroidX Calendar Reminder Problem to be resolved.
So Verizon Wireless and Motorola (maker of DroidX) and Google (maker of Android OS) all have "negative points" in my book for allowing such a problem to continue without proper resolution. Apple, on the other hand, gets "positive points" in my book for making a product that is rock solid and works well.

Hi my old phone 4s after upgrading to IOS 8, Calender is not working. Just a blank page and it quits automatically. I bought a new iphone 6+ and after synching , it also showing the same issue.

There's no way a software update causes a hardware issue. This is just coincidental. Bring your phone to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

Iphone 5 and calender not working with Outlook Exchange, "Marriott"

I have a new iPhone 5. I have Outlook Exchange 2010 with Office 7. When I book airlines or car rentals both calenders sync the correct dates. When I book Marriott, I can make 4 differnet reservations and Outlook calender accpets the correct dates with my 4 resevations. The iPhone will only accpet one reservation in calender. Sometimes the date will be off by one day. I can paste the details in the calender and they appear ok but if US AIr works and Hetrz works why does Marriott not work?

Actually, as an update, mine is now working (the BlueTooth Audio part, Siri still cannot place calls).
I have done this on my first (now smashed) iPhone 5 and my new iPhone 5. It takes a lot of trial and error, but you can get it to work.
First thing is with the iPhone 4, all I had to do was connect the phone in the phone connect screen and it just worked for both. Not so with the 5. With the 5, I have to register it both in the Audo Settings> Bluetooth Audio Settings menus as well as the phone settings on the radio. I didnt know there were two different connections with two different pins. (0000 and 1212). I forget which one you have to connect first, but again, I tried it so many times both installs and it eventually worked. It may be easier to change the name of either the Phone or Bluetooh Audio name from Car Multimedia, so the iPhone can easily connect to one or the other, but I left them both with the same name. I can now play music, and when the phone rings, automatically swaps over to that one.
Play with it and you will get it to work. If I have time, i will remove it and do it again and write down the steps.

Z10 and BBM just not working!!!

I have just recieved a Z10 that I am trialling for my company (currently we have 200 iPhones 4's) and first impression is that its awesome! BUT I cannot use BBM whats so ever!
I put my old BB ID in from when we had BB Storm 2 years ago but all I get is 'Restoring your BBM information' now I know that as a company we all had Storm 2's 3 years ago and moved to iPhone 4's when they were released.
My issue is that it sems if you had an old version of BBM that this issue will happen, so if you take 200 existing BB users who want to use BBM again for communicating with colleagues I can see the iPhone 5 being the preferred handset if no one can use BBM!
Please can someone tell me how the hell you resolve this, I have security wiped the handset 8 times today with no success!!!!
If this is going to be an issue that until a fix is available I think BB will have a lot of people reviewing the phone who will decide its not for them.
Please help I love this phone and I have to admit the iPhone 5 I would rather leave!

Interesting...I'm not sure how your iPhone plays into this, since you used the BB ID from the Storm2...but if O2 says that the account attached to the Z10 definitely has no BIS, then that's not the issue.
Does BBM work via WiFi? Did O2 look at anything else? After all, BBM remains part of the service plan for which you pay O2, so they should provide support, including escalation up to BlackBerry if necessary.
Also, there have actually been widely various reports here as the carriers proceed with the necessary reconfigurations of their networks to accommodate both BB10 and prior devices. Some reported their carrier (I can't recall which) telling them that they must keep BIS in place until that network reconfiguration is complete. Others report their carrier saying that having BIS in place impedes things. And still others report services stopping, starting, stopping again and then starting again -- all for both BB10 and prior devices. Further still, folks report different answers from their carrier when they call back...it's a little crazy with the carriers, I fear.
So, I think perhaps you need to pursue deeper with O2...as BBM should definitely work. And as that's part of your services from O2, they must take the responsibility for resolution.

Syncing calender not working

Hi,
the syncing of the calender with my iPad mini via iTunes 11 and an iMac 27 still running 10.6.8 just doesn't work right. Could the problem be 10.6.8?
When I first got the iPad mini a few months ago, syncing did seem to work fine with the calender. Then, I did activate iCloud at some point and also the syncing via Wi-fi and I think, that one of these must have caused the problem. I did turn off both oprions and used a cable again, but to no avail. I also followed Apple's instruction to sort of reset the syncing on my Mac, but that also did not improve things.
Any clues to what I could try out next? Right now I have to manually put every entry on both the iPad and the Mac and that just can't be the solution.

Calender not working after ios7 upgrade

I'm trying to add a new event to my calender for 9/29 8:30pm to 9/30 1:30am and it keeps changing the date on me. I click "done" and it changes 9/29 to 9/30 but when I click edit, the scroll section to change the date shows 9/29. Any ideas?

After the most recent update 7.0.2 whenever I send an iMessege via celluar data or wifi it will not send. The progress hangs about 90% of the way sent and then it will never send. The only way I can get it to work is to hard reset my iPhone and then resend the message. But I find myslef having to reset it daily about 5 times. I can access the internet just fine with wifi and celluar data, send emails, do everything but send a Message. This is really aggrivating.
Is this is what is also happening to you?

Sync reminders sub folders not working between ios 6 & 7 devices

G'day. I've got one device on ios6 & another on ios7.
The default reminders are syncing, but the sub-folders are not copied across.
Help please.

Calender not working

Calender is not resnpoding, nothing happends.

Have you tried quitting the app and restarting? It sounds like the app is frozen.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Reminders on 3GS not working?

When I open reminders application on my iphone 3gs, there is no + button on the top right screen and not able to add a reminder. Please help.

Reminders (Mac) Search not working!

Hi,
If I search for reminders on my Mac, nothing can be found. Even reminders that are obviously there, cannot be found. It desplays 0 results.
Searching for reminders on my iPhone or directly in iCloud are fine--reminders are found and displayed. But not in the Mac.
What's going on? What to do?

Calender not work correctly

I wrote this code to get the date for the first day of the week. So if todays date is 05/01/2002 it should out put 04/28/2002. The problem that I am having is that it will give me 05/29/2002. If I run this in a plain java file I get the correct date. But when placed in a JSP it does not give me the proper date. Please take a look at my code and let me know if you see a problem. Sync Calender not Working

Calendars has stopped syncing. Mail and Contacts are OK. Have reset sync history and un-checked and checked calendar and re-synced. Error message "sync server not syncing"

Reminders based location not working

Can't set up a reminder based location on my iPod.This option does not appear when I make a reminder.I cam only set it up to remind me on a date and time but not on a location.PLEASE HELP.
P.S I have an iPod Touch 4g and running iOS 5.

I think it's disabled for iPod Touch and iPad because Apple want us to buy their iPhones. Shame on them.
