Z10 STL 100-3 in Latin America

I have known BlackBerry sale Z10 STL 100-1 in Latin America regional
but I seen many Z10 STL 100-3 wrote Latin America regional at the box
Is there  Z10 STL 100-3 version for Latin America ?

There are theoretically two 100-3 versions, the RFK121LW and the RFF91LW. In fact, the spec sheet on the RFF91LW is incorrect and the two models are exactly alike. (Both have the 1700 band). Yes, the 100-1 is specified for Latin America, but I suppose it depends on your carrier. Have you seen this link?

  • Not able to update Z10 STL 100-2

    Hello Friends,
    Just before 2 days I got my Blackberry Z 10 LE.
    My LE was not usable any more so got new one in replacement of LE device under one year warranty.
    I got it with BB 10.0.9.xxx OS installed and I am trying to update it with BB link software as well I had tried to update directly from web but didn't succeed in either way.
    By checking OTA i am getting message that my OS is up to date and device is restarting any time by it self.
    Please help me in this issue.
    Please let me know if there is any way to update it.

    The OS Updates are carrier pushed... so depends on the carrier to send the update on the devices.. 
    Try for installing the OS in to the device manually from downloading the OS from the below link.

    Download the file above. Extract it from the ZIP file if it is zipped. If it is a ".rar" file, you will need a WinRar unpacking app on your PC to extract the file. Connect your BlackBerry to the PC. Using Link, do a backup* (see below) of your phone. Locate the downloaded file and run the autoloader (double click on the EXE file) and a black DOS window appears indicating "Connecting to bootrom". The DOS window processes the install, and begins to load the OS. If you have a security passwored, you will be asked to enter it. When the OS loading is complete, your Z10 will reboot. Disconnect from the PC, and the device will startup. Optional but recommended: Wipe your device at your Settings > Security > Security Wipe. This can take 30 mins to an hour. Go through the required device setup of connecting to WiFi, Agreements, enter your BlackBerryID, and Get Acquainted screens. Reconnect to the PC and perform your restore using BlackBerry Link. Now, you will need to re-enter account passwords for email, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
    Backup Notes: When you backup using Link, you can make one total backup, or divide that backup into three different databases (Setup | Media | App Data). I always break that backup into the three different databases so that I can restore each separately because I have had some issues with a full restore failing in the App database restore, so then I can safely restore only Settings and Media.
    Remember, this process does totally wipe your device, so the backup is important. Reserve about two hours time for the process... performing the backup and restore takes the longest part of the time and will vary according to the amount of data and apps on your BlackBerry.
    Post Upgrade device lag, heat, fast battery discharge:  After any OS upgrade on a BB10 device, it will take 48-72 hours for the device data syncing of email, contacts, social apps, etc., to complete and finish. High data transfer after an upgrade cause high processor use, which in turn causes high battery usage, which in turn can cause higher than nornal heat from the device. Likewise, high processor use will cause some lag and initial slowness. Ignore and and be patient. It can take the 48 hours for all contacts to sync back to the device. Connect to a good WiFi source and relax. The battery will recover after a few days and you'll see normal battery usage again. Just don't drain your battery to 10% or less each time, top off the charge. You'll notice a difference after a couple days.

    Support community..i just bought z10 Verizon version..updated the software to version 10.1.0.2039 but still realized there is a newer version. How do I get because everyone when I try updating it says I have the latest software yet. An missing on many features I had on the stl100-2 like the priority hub. What can I do.   • Z10 STL 100-2 Radio Problems

    After updating to the new os 10.3.1 i cant get the phone out of emergency calls only mode only way to do so is to revert back to os 10.2.1 i have tried lots of different auto loaders ive tried sachesi and ive tryed to link and ota updates but all seem to have the same problem. Is there any known fix so i can use 10.3.1?

    My problems are more.
    I updated the 10.3.1.1565 on my z10 two days ago, and my life has been a hell.
    Firstly, my battery runs down completely within an hour, I had to buy a new battery thinking the one i had gotten drained 
    Secondly, some of my contacts do not load fully, and so do not open
    Thirly, alot of the apps frezzes or they delay in opening
    I have to consistenly reboot and it's getting frustrating, i wish I can go back to the old software.
    Please someone should assist

  • Z10 Middle East & Africa Versions STL-100-1

    For those of you in these regions still unsure about buying a Z10...dont.
    Blackberry and the carriers who support them failed to mention that ALL blackberry's sold outside of the US and Europe are STL-100-1 versions, which among other things, do not have LTE (4G) support, and are visibly and noticeably slower than their US/Europe counterparts. (about 25-35% slower infact, google Z10 STL-100-1 vs STL-100-2 for more information).
    I'd just like to say that I'm disgusted with Blackberry having kept this almost entirely under the carpet, particularly in that those who purchased a Z10 in one of these regions paid THE SAME cost as those who purchased the superior versions that are LTE enabled and come with the faster hardware setup. I.e. $800 for something that slows down when browsing basic webpages, or flicking one app to another. Had I not googled "why is my BB z10 slowing down a lot on basic things" and, to my horror, found out why, I would have been none the wiser.
    I hope the extra $$ was worth it BB, you've lost a customer for life and hopefully I've helped a few others avoid your overpriced, missold piece of junk. I only hope the Q10 is a dysmal failure and your company finally goes under where it belongs. 

    I too for one thought that all Z10s were the same... Since they are priced the same... And no where is it mentioned that BlackBerry would be releasing the Z10 in 4 different models and what are the specs of those models... My question is also the same... Why was I charged the same as other models when mine is not as good as theirs... It is like you charge me for a quad core but give me a quad core... Which is 1Ghz while others you give 2Ghz... Why??? And why weren't we told about this... From now on when ever a new bb is released I will wait till I know for sure that which versions are released (hardware) and which version is available in my region... And if the best is not available in my region I will not buy... you BB are going to loose customers... but I must admit... It's a great way to make cheap money... But you will only make it once... If that way your goal... Bravo... You achieved it... If that wasn't your goal, then you **Bleep** off big time... At least you could have said at the release that you would be releasing 4 versions and this version which is the most pathetic of the lot will be for the most pathetic region (as per your evaluation) of the world...  and the best of the lot will be for the A market... The developed world and the USA... It tells me that you at BlackBerry do not consider all your customers equal, although you charge them equally... What a duality in treatment.
    Now please don't give me the **bleep** about services which are not available in these developing countries... Do we see other phone manufacturers striping down their hardware and putting them up for sale in these regions for the same price as the full version... NO... And if these technology are available in these region in the future will Blackberry then recall all the Z10s from these markets and give their customers the A lot in exchange free of cost for the D lot which is now being offered to them???

    n error installing application and required software release  10.0.10.82(os version 10.0.10.648) my software version is 10.0.9.348  i tried many times to check for updates from settings but it keeps showing that i have the latest software...

  • STL-100-1 running OS 10.0.10.261

    Hi , so I got my unlocked z10 from http://www.axiomtelecom.com/. after downloading and installing blackberry link software it was asking me to update my device. So I clicked on update , the next thing I noticed is that my device is showing blinking led and that's it. I was unable to boot the device.
    I have tried to reset , remove the battries , wait for 20 min with no battery etc. Finally I found a link where I can download an autoloader of z10 with Operating System 10.0.10.261. I was hopeless so I downloaded the file and now I have a running OS of 10.0.10.261 on STL-100-1. I don't even know if this is an offical OS or not.
    Now I'm trying to go back to my original OS , but whatever I try through factory reset , or Blackberry link or reload the device, I end up unable to boot the device. The phone works fine so far , one issue though with wifi I'm unable to connect to internet most of the time.
    Can someone help. Thank you

    That's somewhat of a legal question which may not be able to be answered here by the uers/volunteers - I'd suggest you check with a local apple store.
    In the US, you can purchase it at any authorized reseller as long as you register it with the serial number of the computer within the first 364 days of ownership, but I do not know if a US product will work with one from another country.

    I´m having issues with Netflix in Latin America from an Apple TV. Many movies have three languages (spanish, english and portuguese) and depending the availabitty it starts by default in spanish. I prefer english but i can´t find the way to change the audio language, I´ve found out how to change subtitules but I can´t find the way to change audio language.
    I alredy tried changing the defalut audio options on the Apple Tv general seetings but that haven´t changed a thing. It seems to be a limitation on iOS devices cause I´m also experiencing the same thing on my iPhone 4.

    Usaba Netflix en mi PS3 y cambiar el audio a otro idioma era una sencillez.
    Desde que Netflix lanzó para iOS y Apple TV, he notado que es imposible cambiar el audio (en mi iPhone), solo hay opciones para subtítulos. En el Apple TV, algunas películas se reproducen por defecto en español y no puedo cambiarlas al audio en inglés.
    Me gusta más la interfaz en Apple TV (y uso mi iPhone como remoto) que en PS3, por eso la molestia mía, si no, no me importara tanto.
    Sugiero que todos hagamos un "feedback" a Apple y/o llamemos a Netflix Servicio al Cliente para presionar para que mejoren el servicio, es un problema nuevo porque a nosotros los latinoamericanos nos gusta más escuchar el audio en el idioma original y leer subtítulos, estamos acostumbrados a eso.
