Z10 stl100 keeps powering off at 1/4 battery life
Please assist me, I had this problem before where my phone powers off at 1/4 battery life remaining, I have fixed it but since I updated my software to 10.2 I can not seem to reset the battery meter and it is causing a problem,
Hello,
Depending on when you did this update, this could be normal. There is a period of time when a lot of activity is going on between the device and the network-based services to synchronize data, link contacts, etc. It has been reported that after perhaps 48 hours things "settle down" and return to normal. However, do be aware that each new OS will have a different "normal" for you when it comes to battery consumption...you must determine what is "normal for you" with this new OS and then only be concerned when things deviate too far from that new "normal".
Good luck!

HT1476 iPhone 5 keeps powering off between 15&25% battery.
My iphone keeps powering off between 15&25% battery. When I try to power it on after this it says that it needs to be charged. When I attach it to the charger, it comes back on right away with 15%+ battery life still. Any ideas?
Perform a Restore... If necessary... Restore as New and then Re-Sync your Content.

It looks like your NVIDIA graphic is damaged. If you need your computer now, you can fix the computer downloading gfxCardStatus and selecting the option to use only the integrated graphic, so that kernel panic won't appear anymore. Note that you won't be able to use the NVIDIA graphic, so the graphic performance may be worse than with this graphic.
Of course, that's a temporary fix, because you should take the computer to an Apple Store as soon as possible to get the Mac repaired. As the NVIDIA graphic is not soldered, the repair won't be expensive -
My Imac 2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo keeps powering off
Hi all,
I have a 20inch 2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo (Imac 4.1), Over the last few weeks the Mac would just power off on the odd occasion when using Apeture, I put this down to being the just overworked for processing picture. This seems to have been getting worse and kept occurring more and more often. Light Internet browsing was fine..
I decided after some time to replace the 2gb memory i had to see if that would fix the issue, this seemed to work for a few days then the same issues returned.
I now seeing this issue occured just by opening Safari and decided to rebuild the Imac, I completed the Snowleopard install and all seemed ok for a day then it re-occurred again and seemed to be worse, I then removed the 2gb memory and just kept with the 512mb as when bought... Still it keeps powering off. I have moved to different power sockets and still see the same issues.
Please note in order to power the Imac backup up I have to leave the power out for about 20-30 minutes, If i leave the power plugged in it never boots backup up.
I now decided to even revert back to Lion OS, but it just powers off during the install...
I thinking it sounds like a Power supply issue but would like confirmation before I take it to a repair shop..
cheers
Dan.As old as your iMac is, have you cleaned out the dust? Dust buildup can lead to over heating issues. Remove any and all things plugged into it including the power cord, Remove the RAM access grille. Vacuum all openings starting with the RAM access area (air intake). Vacuum all ports and plugs, DVD slot and the opening across the top of the rear of the body. Blow compressed air through all your openings and vacuum again to remove any dust you loosend. Reinstall the RAM grille. Plug in the keyboard and mouse if not blue tooth. Insert power cord...
You are now in a perfect position to do a

Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and ALL peripherals.
Wait 15 seconds.
Attach the computers power cable.
Wait another 5 seconds and press the power button to turn on the computer.
It is the 5 second timing that initiates the reset.

Apple TV (2) keeps powering off.
My Apple TV (2) keeps powering off after short periods of not using it. After disconnecting and re-inserting the power plug, the unit works properly. Is this normal?
Yes quite normal. If you don't want it to sleep or want it to sleep after a longer period of inactivity, change the sleep settings (settings > general > sleep after)

My iPhone 3GS keeps powering off at any point when between 5 and 50% battery remains.
I could be in the middle of texting, receiving a call or using an app when all of a sudden the screen goes black and very faint randomly distributed lines are visible from the top of the screen to the bottom. The display looks a little like a barcode. I am then unable to restart the phone without plugging it into a power supply. I've looked on the Internet and cannot find a similair case.
It is so frustrating and I am continually thinking it will crash at any point.
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
ThanksWhen the "white symbol" is the white Apple logo, it is starting up....
Can take some time. -

my hp pavilion a520n keeps powering off?
Hi,
There is not a lot of information in your question, but I was able to find a forum thread that deals with a different model Pavilion shutting down repeatedly. It contains a couple of possibilities for you to check, if you'd like.

I hope you find something helpful in this non-HP support forum.

Re: Satellite L350D-131 Keeps powering off during use
I have had my Satellite L350D-131 for 28 days and it has been great but over the last 48hrs I have been trying to add music to my laptop for when I go to uni next week.
But it keeps powering off mid use, there is no consistency to why it is turning off.
Can anyone help?Hello
This is brand new notebook and something like this should not happen in normal circumstances.
The question is how you use your notebook. if the notebook is placed on the bed and cooling fan is blocked I can imagine it happens because of overheating.
Is the notebook placed on the desk when this happen?
Are you sure the cooling fan at the bottom side is not blocked somehow? -

IPhone 4 keeps powering off at random times
My iPhone 4 keeps powering off at random times, I have restored it 3 times. It was real bad like every 15-20 mins, but after the restore, it is random.
It may turn off 2 times in an hour and be fine the rest of the day. Or it may turn off every 4 hours...
Nothing triggers it more then Ipod setting, Listening to the ipod.
Any Ideas?I had only the base apps. No music no other apps. Just played around with settings and checked mail. It did it with that as well.
Took it to my local apple store. They replaced it. New phone going strong so far. Full restore. All apps, all music, all ringtones, and movies. No issues so far... Seems like it was just a bad phone. But they took care of it! -
Why does my ipod keeps powering off, when I have to turn it on ... I have to press on the power button and the screen button at the same time ??? over and over again. I just got this in December 2011 as a gift.
I am having similar 'freezing' problems with many programs (Mail, Safari, iTunes, etc.). I have done a clean install of Lion instead of an upgrade when it came out. Perhaps something went wrong with my install? I'm thinking about wiping and reinstalling.

My iPhone 4S shut off with a 62% battery life and hasn't came back on yet. I've charged it and all it just won't come back on at all. Is this a common problem? Is this covered under my 1 year warranty?
No it is not common.
Most have no issues.
Have you tried basics from the manual? Restart, reset, restore?
The warranty covers defects. If the iphone is defective, then they would replace it. -

About a month ago my phone started randomally powering off. The phone is fine while it is plugged into the charger, but as soon as i disconnect it and try to do anything with the phone, it powers off. Then is wont stay on at all. I figured it was the battery, so I purchased a new one, same problem. I dont have an upgrade until July, has anyone had this problem? Frustrated!!!!
I did. It ended up being the Advanced Task Killer application was causing the issue. Verizon suggests removal of any task killer applications.
