    Hello s0ha1b
If all you get is the Apple logo and it powering off, then the next step is to put your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. If you have a back up, then you can put that on there to once the restore is complete.
If you can't update or restore your iOS device

  • 3gs switches off suddenly.

my iphone 3gs always switches off suddenly when there is battery. but cant switch on again unless u charge it. isit battery problem?i tried to restore but doesnt work. anyone help me!

Sounds like either a battery or iOS issue.
The phone will shut itself off when it detects the battery drops below a certain voltage; the battery gauge is really just an estimate of how long the phone has to go given the device's battery capacity and the current rate of battery usage.

  • I phone switched off, I phone switched off, I phone switched off suddenly

i-phone suddenly switched off and now can not switch on

Suddenly switch off / shutdown problem :
Because of hardware problems (panic.plist) my Iphone 4s replaced with new one. (if you have panic.plist in your logfile (diagnostic & usage), you should restore (using Itunes) your Iphone, if it is persist you have to replace with new one.
If you want to use Iphone Don't Buy Iphone 4s, you should buy Iphone 4(It is my second Iphone 4s, but I have still problem with battery - my first phone changed because of different hardware problems (suddenly swich off)) with 1 hour (soft condition) usage remaining battery is %90 (very poor.)

  • U450 switches off suddenly

I've just bought an Ideapad U450 recently. Specs are provided below at the end of this post.
Ever since I bought it, it has sporadically shut-down and rebooted on its own. Each time I'll get a memory dump, and it has always been pointing to the wifi driver. I've updated it, uninstalled it, re-installed it, to no avail.
Recently, the crashes gets even worse, it just turns off suddenly without the blue screen of death. I've tried it while on AC and batteries and on batteries alone. It still happens each time. And each time when I start, there are no log files to indicate that it has crashed.
I noticed it crashes when I use programs that use sustained network connectivity, such as online MMORPG games and BitTorrent downloaders.
It doesn't get very hot, though I've always ensured that my laptop runs under my aircon outlet and sits on top of a laptop cooler.
I would be grateful for any help/advise.

  • BlackBerry Z10 switches off itself!

I have been using this phone for 2 months...and it switches off when the battery percentage is 40-50%....need help!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If it fails, please re-try, but increase the wait time in step 4 to at least 2 hours, and perhaps as long as 4-5 hours.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

What is happening is that your on-device battery meter is off-sync with the actual battery charge. Connect to your OEM wall outlet battery charger and while still connected and powered on, remove the battery a minute to reboot. After reboot leave to fully charge to 100%.
Thus will reset the false charge reading. You may need to do perform this procedure 2-3 times.

  • My BB Z10 Shut Off Suddenly

    Hi Guys,
I just wanna share and say that I'm totally dissapointed with this new product, its not common for gadget that we called smartphone. My Z10, after about a month usage, it started to get trouble and error every where which are :
    - The screen always goes dreary slowly and then its shut Off, and I must remove the battery more than three times, then the device start again.
    - BBM offenly restart by itself, and Re Invite again in all groups BBM I have.
    - the Camera suddenly stop working and the device goes Off
    - The signal is totally unstable
    - The battery is suck, twice until three times a day I must charge
    - etc.
That is really annoying and not worthed for a gadget that we called smartphone, actually I like with the new style "peek to see the hub motifications" but all that problems above really annoying.
Please is there anyone that can help me with that issues. Thanx.

    The reboot issue is known.
But your other problems seem like you have a lot of junk or maybe sideloaded Android apps on your phone. I would suggest that you save only your music, pictures, etc and reload the operating system.
Yes, exactly. And I'd strongly recommend making sure you install an OS 10.1 version.

  • Iphone 5s switches off suddenly

There was a power cut, so I switched on the torch to find my earphone after that i locked the phone and slept. When I got up and tried to unlock the phone it won't start at all. I've tried rebooting, switching it on, restoring what not but the phone would never restart. I'm worried about my phone, please help me!!!

I see you changed the battery
That is unfortunate whilst the water voided the warranty you WOULD have been eligible for an Out of Warranty exchange device for $269
Unfortunately opening the iPhone has now made it ineligible for ANY service or support from Apple including the OoW programme ( and this Apple hosted forum )
